It will be interesting to see if Eli gets in or not. The Super Bowl wins as well as the playoff wins overall will help. He was certainly a good QB for the Giants, but I don't know if he is a slam dunk for the Hall like his brother. He probably gets in, but I don't think it will be in his first year of eligibility. IMHO

I didn't realize Allen has small nuts. 🚨NEWS: Buffalo #Bills star quarterback Josh Allen owns a small nut farm in California that produces small nuts, including pistachios. The Allens have 1,000 acres of pistachios. Josh reportedly earns 6.5 million dollars in revenue per year from the farm. Pretty cool. pic.twitter.com/ZhURuPBR9z — MLFootball (@_MLFootball) June 24, 2025

Pegula Divests from Knight Hawks after pulling out of Rochester Lease
Gregg replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the league was going to do anything it would be expansion. Emperor Goodell would love for more teams for more revenue. Everyone knows Buffalo is a football mad city and a special football market. I doubt the league wants to lose that. With the new stadium the Bills future in WNY has never been more secure. -

This week (so far) has been brutal in NJ. Temps around 100 and humid. I know a lot of people like summer, but I can't stand it. From a weather standpoint give me the fall and spring. Plus. the fall and spring offer the best times for sports. Football season and the NHL playoffs. -
For a defensive minded coach his defense doesn't show up in big moments. He is still a good coach but not a great one. He gets credit for turning the Bills around from a POS organization to a winning one. He also deserves his share of the blame for the playoff failures. If the Bills had Bill coaching them, they would have a Lombardi or two by now. Bill's record speaks for itself when he has had an elite level franchise QB. Plus, he is a much better DC than Sean. Allen with a strong defense would definitely bring a championship to WNY.

Felt the same about Nassau Coliseum. Have a ton of memories in that place with the Isles and concerts. But it was also a shithole, and its time had come and gone. UBS is a great arena. Don't miss Nassau at all despite the great memories. -

Ravens also moved the ball on them last year in the playoffs as well. We got lucky they screwed up the 2-point conversion otherwise that game might have ended differently. -

Pegula Divests from Knight Hawks after pulling out of Rochester Lease
Gregg replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope that's not the case. The Sabres have great fans, as Buffalo is a very good hockey market. Attendance may be down but who can blame the fans with the product they have put on the ice the past 15 years. As an Isles fan I went through the relocation rumors when the team was losing money playing at Nassau Coliseum. Thankfully then Gov Cuomo helped the Isles get through all of the challenges to get UBS built. Hoping the Sabres stay in Buffalo and eventually get a new arena as well. -
As for the Giants game if they would have given the ball to Thurman more, I am convinced they would have won.

I am looking at the defense. Beane moved heaven and earth this offseason to improve that side of the ball. If his moves pay off and this turns out to be the best defense Allen has ever had then they have a legit chance to win the Super Bowl unlike previous years where the defense has **** the bed when facing a good offense especially in the playoffs. -

The Bills aren't going anywhere except across the street to their new stadium. As for the Sabres the fans should be happy if he sells as he has run that team into the ground. -

I honestly don't know who is worse Bass or Newsome. They both suck but it would be close to see who is actually worse.

SBs are not BS. That is the whole purpose for every team/fanbase in the NFL. If Allen never gets to Super Bowl, it won't change the fact that his career will end up in Canton when it's all said and done.
-
I think his career will go similar to Elway's. Different game back then and Elway didn't run for TDs like Allen does. But during his era Elway was a QB who was known to run if he had to extend the play or avoid the rush. But as he got older, he was basically a pocket passer at that point in his career. Of course, it didn't hurt that he had Davis to hand the ball off too. I expect Allen will run less and less as the years go by. Just like Elway did.

Chad Johnson says Stevie Johnson the best route runner ever seen
Gregg replied to Lafromboise's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember Johnson was the one receiver who gave Revis the most trouble. Revis usually shut everybody down. -
Sweeping the division is never easy. If the Bills have everything wrapped up going into the regular season finale, then they will treat that game like a glorified exhibition game. I will say 5-1 or 4-2. The Bills usually drop a game every year they have no business losing. Since I live in NJ I go to every Bills-Jets game here. The games at MetLife are usually close. Lost twice to Zach Wilson and in last year's 23-20 win the Jets missed 2 FG's and an extra point. That week 2 matchup will be tough. I just hope the Bills go in there 1-0. Could you imagine this board if they start 0-2.

I don't know if there is any truth to this but https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/nhl/news/rangers-islanders-predicted-trade-68-point-winger/670c5b6ee5c3930f3608b66f

What they started doing 2 years ago pissed a lot of people off. In October they would send an e-mail to all season tickets requiring that they start paying for next year's tickets IN OCTOBER. The current season was still going on and they still had a lot of home games left to play in the current season and they were already asking for money for the following season. It wasn't popular with the season ticket holders at all.

Losing streak over with the 7-3 win today. Hopefully they can get on a roll now.
