If I remember correctly going into that season many of the "experts" had predicted the Bills to be one worst teams in the league. That year might have been McDermott's best year coaching as he got the most out of a team that wasn't very talented.

The winner of that award AINEC. Speaking of former Jets QBs. I think we are reaching Ryan Leaf territory as far as draft bust goes. Zach Wilson, continuing an uneven offseason, had two passes picked (including one returned for a TD) and nearly threw a third INT and second pick-six. https://t.co/i9fvC0mE1G — Barry Jackson (@flasportsbuzz) June 10, 2025

I give McDermott a little more credit than that. He did coach them to the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor as his QB. Granted it took a Dalton to Boyd miracle in Baltimore to help but he still managed enough wins to get them in. The current day Bills are better than that Bills team even without Allen.

Like others have said, Allen is the only player that moves the needle record wise if he were to sustain a long-term injury. The Bills could probably survive if he missed a game or two, but a long-term injury forget it. Up to this point, the Bills have had an above average or good roster (NOT GREAT) with an elite level QB.

Games 1 and 2 were amazing. Last night was a butt kicking. I don't know if they will win game 4 but I expect a much better effort from the Oilers.

Both teams are probably scared to rebuild as they watch the Pirates never ending rebuild

Don't forget the Ravens as well.

Pitt better have a good OL. Rodgers can still read a defense, and he still make the throws at the NFL level. But he is a statue at this point in his career. If their OL doesn't perform well then, I doubt Rodgers plays 17 games. That's assuming he doesn't hurt himself another way like torn ACL against the Bills when nobody touched him.
-
If he has anything left in the tank it will make the Ravens job tougher when facing them.

The entire 1984 and 85 seasons with the exception of the Cowboys game in 84. Of course, every home game was blacked out back then so you couldn't watch them live unless you were there.

Game one tonight of the SCF. I think the Cats win in 7. Bob gives them an advantage in net over Skinner. I really don't care who wins. I just want the games to be competitive with a couple going to OT.

If the Bills had Mahomes they would be very good like they are now with Allen, but Mahomes would still be trying to get to and win his first Super Bowl if he were a Bill. Allen would already have multiple rings if he were a Chief. Reid > McDermott. Spags > then any Bills DC recently. Most important the Chiefs team steps up in big games/moments the Bills have not.

The Cowboys, Overexposed? Maybe. Overrated? .... You Decide

I don't see them making the playoffs. The Eagles and Commanders are much better. Dallas is probably still better as well. -

Big market teams or teams with national appeal that bring in huge ratings will always be put in the spotlight. The Cowboys have been a decent team. It's not like they suck. On the other end of the spectrum, we have the Giants coming off a 3-14 season last year. This year they still get 3 primetime games. KC (SNF), PHIL(TNF) and NE (MNF). Big market teams always get the spotlight, and it doesn't matter what their record was the previous year. If the Bills were coming off a 3-14 season they would get 1:00 every game unless they were on the WC in which its 4:05 but 1:00 local time out there. -
Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
Gregg replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
Being the NFL is like one giant fraternity. I wonder how many players/coaches from other teams were there. -
If he is not at TC, then I will be concerned. I don't expect him to be at mini-camp.

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
Gregg replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
I looked it up and apparently, he did. Yes, Brian Daboll and other Buffalo Bills players were present at Josh Allen's wedding on May 31, 2025. Players like Dawson Knox, Spencer Brown, and Mitch Trubisky were spotted supporting Allen during the ceremony, indicating their involvement in the event1. -
They are the Jets of hockey, and I don't mean Winnipeg.
