The magic number to win the division is 2. Either 2 Bills wins or 2 Dolphins losses or a combination of 1 Bills win and 1 Dolphins loss. Miami is 4-6 so another loss and the best they can do is 10-7. Bills needs 1 win to get to 10 and they swept the Dolphins. So, the tiebreaker goes to the Bills. Have to root for the Pats to upset the Dolphins this Sunday. If not, then I think GB will beat the Dolphins at home on TNF.

I don't know about the Dolphins. They should win on Sunday vs the Pats but then they play 4 days later on TNF at GB. I think they will lose that one and that will finish them.

Getting the #1 seed would be huge. Don't have to play on WC weekend so players can get an extra week to get as healthy as possible. Also, McDermott has never won a playoff game on the road (0-4, JAC, HOU, KC X 2) so I would prefer they play at home in the playoffs. They are a lot tougher at home then on the road.

Eli was a good QB, but HOF bound I don't know about that. However, I will always be grateful to Eli and the Giants for taking down the evil empire twice on the biggest stage.

I think the Jets have already "checked out" since Saleh got fired. Jeff Ulbrich appears in over his head as a HC.

It would be great if they got upset by the Panthers this week but coming off a loss, I expect them to win by at least 10.

Comedies back then were a lot better than today's. IMHO. Sanford and Son, All in the Family, The Jeffersons are classics. Those shows wouldn't be made in today's world for the obvious reason.

Lucky for the 49ers that the division is "meh". Cards at 6-4 with everyone else at 5-5. I do think the 49ers game will be tough as they are getting healthier. They have a lot of talent on that team.

I disagree. Johnson is an outstanding owner who is doing a fantastic job with the Jets. May he live a long time and continue to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the team.

There is a good chance they won't. The Ravens, Steelers are more than capable of beating the Chiefs and Bills.

I could see Lions DC Aaron Glenn going to the Jets. He played there from 94-01 so he has history with them. I don't see an established HC going there with Johnson but Glenn would be a first time HC so he might jump at the opportunity.

Is their anyone in the NFC who could stop them from getting to the Super Bowl. Eagles have won 6 in a row. Green Bay, Minnesota? Divisional rivalry games are usually close since the teams know each other well. Maybe if SF gets healthy then they have a roster to do it, but it does feel like the Lions will represent the NFC in Feb unless injuries derail their season.

Looking at the standings with the Bills at 9-2, Dolphins 4-6, Jets and Pats both 3-8. The magic number is 2. Any combination of Bills wins or Dolphins losses equaling 2 means they can't catch the Bills especially since the Bills swept them. If the Pats and Jets both ran the table (they obviously wont) the best they could do is 9-8. All the Bills need is 1 win, and those teams can't catch them. I guess we need the Pats to pull off the upset over the Dolphins this week reducing the magic number over Miami to 1. If that happens then the Bills can officially clinch the division vs SF.

Maye has shown potential during this rebuilding year. The Jets have simply crashed and burned and are heading for dark times. Miami is not that great either. Who knows if anyone of them will improve to challenge the Bills in 2025.
