I think its the Bills who need the #1 seed to have a chance to get to the Super Bowl. McDermott has never won a road playoff game. The Ravens have the type of team that can win on the road in the playoffs. They can run the ball very well with Henry/Jackson and they are tough defensively. Jackson can make all throws an NFL QB needs to make to be successful. I hope I am wrong obviously but I do think they are the best team in the AFC and possibly the entire league. I think they will win a minimum of 13 games this season.

Preseason Week 2 - Post Updates Here
Gregg replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am guessing Allen gets a series maybe two. Usually nobody plays in the last preseason game so the starters might get some playing time in this one. The most important thing is no injuries. The Bills have already had enough of that in TC. -
I wouldn't say hated. I think most Bills fans give credit to McDermott and Beane for changing the culture of the organization from a loser to a winner. But it is frustrating to see these playoff losses happen year after year despite having one of the best QBs in the game. They have both been here 9 years now so it is fair to question if the Bills will ever win a championship with this HC/GM.

I was born on LI and now live in NJ. Spent my whole life in the NYC area. For me its the Jets, I hate the team, the fans and the color green except when its money. Unless the Pats or Fins are playing at the Meadowlands then that is the only time you see their fans in the NYC area. The rest of the year I have better chance of seeing bigfoot then I do a Pats or Fins fan. I don't have to deal with them like I do with Jets fans. -
Depends on if the Bills defense has improved. The offense will be fine and Allen is a special player but as we have seen over the years he can't get the Bills to Super Bowl by himself. It doesn't matter how well he plays. The defense needs to do their part otherwise nothing will change.

Would McDermott want to give up control of the defense. He seems very involved when it comes to that side of the ball. Offense is a little different since he came up the coaching ranks on the defensive side so I can see him letting his OC run the show. Defense I am not so sure.

Preseason Week 1 Giants at Bills - Game thread
Gregg replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
One of the things I would have liked for McDermott to do would have been to go for the TD before half. The Bills were trailing 16-7 and Trubisky hit that long pass and it looked the WR might take it in for a TD but got tackled at the 5. Why kick the FG there. It's preseason so it's not like winning this game is important. That was the perfect time to practice a play near the goal line. The Bills may find themselves in a situation where they need to convert a 2-point conversion or need a TD to win the game in the regular season. I would have gone for a TD instead of kicking the FG in that situation. -
Rest in peace, is it half of TBD or the 2025 Buffalo Bills?
Gregg replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills 4th string scrubs couldn't hold the lead against the Giants 4th string scrubs and the Bills lost a very important preseason game. I am outraged by this. -
The Bills will be contenders to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, but I honestly don't see how they can be the favored. I think the Ravens have one of the best if not the best roster in football. Jackson is one hell of a QB who is right up there with Allen and Mahomes. Then there is KC. It's probably more mental at this point but until the Bills actually beat KC in a big spot (playoffs) then you can't have them favored to do so until they actually do it. If I were to a make a Super Bowl pick for this year, I would say it will be the Ravens vs Lions assuming injuries don't hurt their season.

QB Comparisons to Josh, QB's from the Past and or the Present ?
Gregg replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh has a gunslinger's mentality. He is a more athletic version of Elway and Favre. IMHO. -
