  1. Look who is #1.
  2. Harrison Glaser on Twitter: "Robert Saleh on Zach Wilson: "He looks awesome. He's in a really good frame of mind. He's embraced where he is. He's attacking every day to try to find ways to get better. I've got a lot of faith in him. He's just got to get comfortable as an NFL QB & let it rip." #Jets https://t.co/gNtIM3rceL" / Twitter This is coach speak for he sucks, and he will do nothing but hold a clipboard and watch Rodgers play.
  3. I feel the same way. Seattle is another team that should go back to their classic look. They never should have changed to begin with.
  4. The Pats are bringing the red jersey back for games against the Dolphins and Chargers.
  5. I could see the Pats practicing with Bill doing this.
  6. The Falcons are bringing back the red helmet for three games this year vs the Packers, Commanders, and Saints.
  7. I don't think its pessimism as its more of the fact that AFC and AFCE are stronger which will make it harder for the Bills. I expect all the games between the Bills, Dolphins, Jets to be extremely physical, intense, close games.
  8. The one thing that the polls can't predict however is Biden's health. Not that Trump is in great shape, and they are both old. It seems like Biden's health is more of a factor. It wouldn't surprise me if its Newsome or someone else as the Dem candidate in 2024.
  9. Going to need a rebuild or retool or whatever you want to call it. As of now the Yankees need to...
  10. I never pay attention to polls no matter who they favor. Remember in 2016 the polls/media were saying it was a slam dunk Hillary would be President. From now until the election the polls will go back and forth on who is leading who.
  11. Zack Rosenblatt on Twitter: "The #Jets placed RB Breece Hall, WR Randall Cobb, TE C.J. Uzomah and DB Jarrick Bernard-Converse on the PUP list to open training camp. They can be activated at any point during camp." / Twitter
  12. With the Sabres they have sucked over the past decade or so. Nobody would argue that. This latest rebuild however is actually working. The Sabres are a winning team now and missed the playoffs by only one-point last year. Their core group is young. Most are under 25 so they figure to only get better.
  13. I think they will make the playoffs and probably win the division. The schedule is tough for everybody in the AFCE. I will say 10-12 wins is the floor/ceiling. Will they make or win the Super Bowl. Who knows as anything can happen in the playoffs. It will be a challenge to get by KC/CIN. Hopefully they don't get hit to hard with the injury bug this year. As everyone knows injuries can ruin the season.
  14. I agree ownership should never get involved in the day-to-day operations. As long as Beane and McDermott are making the football related decisions then that is all that matters. The Sabres darkest era is coming to an end. 42-33-7 for 91 points last season. They have one of the best forward groups in the league led by Tage Thompson. There will be playoff hockey next spring in WNY.
  15. On the plus side the Sabres look like much brighter days are ahead starting this season.
  16. Not really. As it pertains to football moves like FA, draft, shaping the roster, coaching hires/fires it's McBeane calling the shots.
  17. I doubt they can keep him healthy. Two confirmed concussions last year (CIN and GB) and he probably suffered one in the first Bills game bringing the total to 3. Then he had that hip injury at Alabama but it's the concussions that will shorten his career. If he suffers one more this year, then he would be smart to retire. It's not worth putting your health at risk especially since he is a young man.
  18. That is a good question. I mostly watch sports NFL, CFB, NHL, MLB. When I do watch shows or movies its usually the older ones. Most of today's stuff isn't that good IMHO.
  19. Gerry Dulac on Twitter: "Steelers have agreed to a new five-year, $70.743 million contract with OLB Alex Highsmith that includes approximately $27.7 million in guaranteed money, per sources. Highsmith was entering the final year of his rookie contract and was scheduled to earn $2.743 million in 2023." / Twitter
  20. Good point. The potential is there for the Bills to play many home games in bad weather especially late in the season. Yet the Bills have a team that isn't built for bad weather.
  21. The most powerful person in NY Kathy Hochul wants this and helped the Bills get past all of the political red tape to get it done. The only place the Bills are moving to is across the street in 3 years to their new home.
