well said. Josh will be back. It's one game.. the line will gell. But Tre, that is just pure lack of toughness and talent. Injury or no injury he has always been a wimp. That pass to tie the game last night he was out of position behind the receiver. Didn't touch the ball at ALL like some say he did. It was agreat catch but it should have been an easy incompletion or pick.

OK - Last night sucked. Full stop. Bad play calling, Josh playing like sugar-rush-Josh. But can we please discuss the Tre White comedy act? He cost us this game just as much as Josh. On the long Breece Hall run from their 3 yard line... Tre came in and whiffed. Absolutely missed on the tackle. Boom - 3 points for the Jets. Third and long,Bills up 13-3. Tre, again, whiffed on the tackle behind the line. First down. Eventual FG. Jets TD to tie the game - Tre 1-on-1. BURNED like always. The dude is the weakest link on a very good D. I know you all love him... "Pro bowler blah blah". He is weak and plays like a civ. Teams will attack him.

Good writeup OP. But the CB's as a positive?? Benford was good but Tre was IMO one of the top reasons we lost this game. Tre White missed/whiffed on 2 tackles that would have stopped the Jets from scoring FG's. One on the Hall long run and another on 3rd and long. Then Tre was burned 1-on-1 for the tieing TD by the Jets. How is nobody talking about TRE??? "Oh, he's an all pro... oh he was great in college.. oh we was injured". The dude sucks!!!! he cost us this game. weakest link on a great D. Also - Lenrod Floyd - amazing game!!

Because he called a brutal game. Calling runs up the middle with a smurf back like Cook is insane vs a D like the Jets. Then, we put Harris and Murray in for a quick rep and bingo - the run works. But nooo, we go back to Cook and forcefully feed him the ball up the middle. When things start working Dorsey always calls it the opposite. Hes brutal.

Now that you are realizing Josh isn't all that and he can't read the field vs good defenses - let's also discuss the Tre White joke that it is. Two important missed/whiffed tackles: One clearly on the Breece long run. Tre missed him completely and Breece ran for the length of the field. Jets score a FG. Next one, third and long... Tre again whiffs on the tackle behind the line and Jets convert and get another FG. THEN - Tre 1-on-1 for the tieing TD. The dude is brutal! He is the weak link on a good D. I agree that this can be a statement game for the Bills. We NEED to win. You say a loss isn't as much of a big deal? I disagree. If we lose, we continue the Bills are soft and declining story that is out there with some media pundits. If we lose to the jets we still have one of the most daunting schedules ahead of us. This is a game we "should" win on our sked. If not, we are in for a tough season IMO. Let's see what we have with our new receivers and Defense. Gonna be a BIG game boys!

Lions ran it down their throats when they needed to and wanted to. KC has no run D. Lions pressured mahomes all night. Forced him into uncomfy throws. It's week 1 but we will see what happens.

Well said. It really comes down to how soon we can get Tre off the field. He is lost and wimpy. His injury just makes it 100% worse. With benford and Elam/Dane combo we will be fine! Tre will get cooked... again.

My only worry is that with Benford starting the Jets (and every team) will pick on Tre and burn him as per usual. I hope to see Benford and Elam/Dane at CB sooner than later. Bank on it. Torrence - yeah Baby!! Bernard - love it. Fast and can cover! Kirksy can sub in obvious run plays/schemes. This can be perfect for the long run this season.

The ones that counted. I didn't hear his name because he wasn't making plays. I heard his name too much because he was overrated. I'm a long-time Bills fan... Tre has been a mediocre over glorified CB. We will see... I sure hope he can elevate his play. we will see. I sure hope you are correct.

I sure hope so! I was never a big Tre fan in the first place. I think he had a lot of good games vs less talented teams. He built stats in games where he piled the tackles, int's in meaningless games. But when we face a good team with good receivers he is absent. He does not attack like a "new NFL" CB. he doesn't have and never did have that animal instinct. Tre is good (or can be) but not great. He worries me too and NFL coaches know this. Monday night will sure show us a lot. My worry is we will watch the Tre-get-burned holding his hands up in the air Tre... like we usually do.

Gonna be a tough game! Go Bills. We will be ready. I hope McD and Dorsey can call good games on both sides of the ball because the Jets will be swinging hard!
