Didn't see the game as I was out of town with no TV but just read this:
Travis Kelce has just 39 receiving yards in 2024, the fewest in any two-game span in his NFL career.
That's heartening. Makes me sick to read that penalties (among other things) help the Chiefs yet again but Kelce has to be declining from his prime and being an unstoppable force, right? The bast*** turns 35 in early October so he has to be. I hope. 😳
Possibly. I think it may hurt us a bit in the short term (regular-season wins this year). But there are long-term gains to be had:
I think it has enabled Josh to take the reins of leadership (he was second in command when Diggs was here) and also help him to go through his reads rather than key in on one guy primarily. Any QB will get better when they don't have a security blanket to look to first.
Given that Diggs did SFA in the playoffs I won't miss him.
Just watched a bit of the second video but this Miami doctor serves up a sober warning and says that life is more important than football and you can replace your knee but you can't replace your brain.
Listen to it. The bit I referenced starts close to 7 minutes in...
is the 4-6 weeks out for Bernard news speculation or an official statement?
if he's gone just 4 weeks I'll be happy.
Great win but as others have said, we have a kicker problem.
Proves that most of us watch-TV, drink beer/bourbon experts don't know what a HOF player is capable of, even when he's old and coming off a major injury.
I'm glad 95% of the people are wrong. I wasn't expecting anything either, FWIW.
