I think there is some truth about them letting up. It's one of the reasons I remain nervous about games against good opponents. Lions game was one of them. Yeah we had injuries but the defense sure did give up a lot of points in the 4th to the tune of an anxiety riddled onsides kick.

My response was "you really think I wanted to do this over watching the game?" Don't get me wrong the concert was good and all but I didn't know we were going until like an hour before it started. (Tickets were offered to her) I thought I was doing the right thing for her. Ugh

Because I was stuck at a Christmas concert and could only check in every so often at the chagrin of my wife.

Someone said "yes" in another reply to you. BUT they're wrong. I'm with you. Maybe because we've seen Mitch as a backup and it's not good at all. I'm sure White could look just as bad but I might be more optimistic with him for a game than Mitch.

Same as every weekend. Get in some sort of stupid argument with "the love of my life" followed by me punching myself in the face once I'm alone. You know the typical stuff.

Lions have held teams to 18 pts per game. They will run run run convert 3rd and 4th downs like they're playing 7v7 if the defense looks like last week. Im sure im a little shook, but I just don't see Josh with 4TD against this team. I sure hope your right though.

Yeah it's those DVOA stats that pop up and allow the eyes to see a better defense than what the other metrics are saying. I think we're average to slightly below average but when we don't get turnovers and pressure like last week, it's bad. Maybe this game will focus them for the playoffs. I really just think they took a mental breal for this past game. They won a big game in the snow clinching the division and then blah lol. They'll be good though. (Hoping)

Wgr painted a picture this morning that our defense is bottom 10 in all categories other than takeaways. No take away= no good. They seem better than this but after last weeks game I am concerned that the defense and its guru may cost us again this week (or further).

Im Not saying this is a bad thing. It about be a human thing. I think once Buffalo won the division, they kinda dialed down. Idk if it's maybe taking the Rams for granted even idk. Anyways back to this game
