The problem with this is if you kill the clock and come up empty handed you also take away time to score for yourself later on. I'm assuming Miami is going to almost score at will. The key to me would be to get them 3 and out (or to punt) as much as possible. Tough task and also simplistic as far as my thoughts go.
but really just play ball and take advantage of what their defense gives ya.
I really don't give a crap how they get the yards. I just don't think it's such an outlandish question or statement for the OP to talk about when the team
Itself has talked about it as an issue. I understand game plan and team philosophy, player strengths and so on But I'm also not going to be condescending to the OP because he had a thought.
Of anything that I miss or wish we could do a better job at is scheming guys open. Beasley used to almost always be open and that supposed to be what DK was drafted for.
So if the Bills get torched by Miami you better believe that this board will be swarming with YAK conversations, and a large body of us will be right in on the conversation. It's not so far fetched to think about given that the players and coaches have been saying that they need to get better at it.
You mean they yanked him when they had like 56 points! That really makes no difference. But yeah if Denver is going to suck so bad, what can ya do I guess.
I just can't wrap my brain around how a team can allow so many points. Have some pride. Then that brings me to Miami. Are they really that good to impose their will like that. Idk I'm buying the hype atm. I'll be alright after I sleep on it.
I agree. It's not like Dorsey let a ball slip through his hands in the end zone. Dorsey didn't catch a sure TD but not get his second foot inbounds. It wasn't perfect but it's not all on him. Buffalo will have to make those plays next week.
Ill take it though. All week we were told how great this guy was and how he was going to be a force. We'll see next week if we can disrupt a quick passing game. For now at least, this was fun to watch.
People say Miami played bad teams, so have the Bills. This is not going to be as easy as that. I'd hope that anything we can come up with, D coordinators have already thought of and failed to impose on Miami. It's going to be a crazy ride this week.
