The pressure on our boys of not making the playoffs ... the absolute heap of ***** that would come down on them .. i don't think we can fully appreciate it. Josh in particular would get it in the neck from journalists. Diggs too. McDermot getting it from the support. Just an all round disaster for them. This is huge news for the team. And after Denver, it's been so hard earned. i wouldn't want to be a miami fan tonight. I think we might see some verve from the travelling team.

Bills and home or chiefs away is a tough pill for Miami I wonder if they'll rest anyone. Probably not. But they can't be happy with either prospect. In some ways, they might be better off being fresh for Kansas than have to take a double dose of us.

I've only just realised that, deep down, I didn't expect us to make it. Not emotionally, or rationally, just a deep feeling of doubt. So I'm over the moon, now, really. I think we've shown this year we can give any team a game home or away - we just had to get in. If we'd missed out ... with our schedule ... and our close losses .. and one less home game ... while fückin Tampa snuck in with a three FG win over Carolina at the death, it would have hurt for ages.

Strategically so stupid. It's the Napoleon thing - when your opponent is making a mistake don't interrupt him. The pressure was piling on a young QB who was making mistakes. And you get greedy like that. Jags were in the process of beating themselves. You don't need to be clever there. Easy to say with hindsight, but the reward there was never worth the risk. Edit. Just realised it wasn't a fake - it was a drop.
