  1. I love Romo. I realy enjoy how he reads the game.
  2. Not sure he's an incompetent coach. It's a seriously difficult job and he's still a young man. But he looks fried and his head has gone. He needs a year break at least, you'd think. For his own good. In elite sport, it's how you handle defeat that really makes the great ones great. I was watching the Panthers' coach yesterday and that lad has the mindset. Not too high, not too low. Let the fans show the emotion, you just do your job. McD has that quality too. Dan Campbell, for instance, looks like he's a 4-game losing streak away from driving naked to Canada with a trunk full of hand-grenades. You lose in sport. Things don't go your way sometimes. If you listen to the media and the fans too much, and are too eager to please, the game will surely eat you alive. I don't think any of us really have an inkling what an NFL HC job must be like
  3. What a weekend. Bryce Young not clutch. But would have been fun to see that turn around.
  4. This is a great game of football
  5. it was an outstanding catch though.
  6. Great to see Tre making plays again
  7. Broken nose won't stop him Get the game won. Then sit him out early.
  8. What happened to downhill Davis? Seems like half the player so far this season.
  9. Did they catch the shooter in that massive public place? jeez. I suppose Russia invading polish airspace and the need to act on the NATO pact will just have to wait a while
  10. I love THE ROCKPILE REVIEW
  11. I'd say the Ravens lost. They had the attributes on the field to make lighter work of this one.
  12. Physically he reminded me a lot of his brother. And I like his brother A LOT 1st quarter aside, I thought he looked really good. Gave their RT a lot of trouble second half. It was refreshing to see after Miller.
  13. If a decision goes right then everyone says its the right decision. If a decision goes wrong it's like "why didn't you make the other decision" So all coaches have to do is always make the decision that gets the right result and they'll attract no criticism. So, go for 2 points. But only if you get the 2 points. Go for it on 4th down. Just be 100% sure that you will make the yards. Simple as that. (edit - the final result matters too. so if you don't get the result you want on the play, but you end up winning the game due to other events, then it wasn't THAT bad a decision. But if you don't get the result you want on the play and you lose the game - then you probably need to be fired before the press conference)
  14. I've never known a team or competitor in ANY sport with quite as much personality as this current Bills outfit. Now, that may be a problem. Aside from McEnroe and Ali - it's not usually the big personalities that win things. It's usually the dull, mechanical sorts. Those who do the basics right. Those who wear you down and even bore you into making mistakes. The machines. But even though the Lombardi is really the be-all and end-all of the game - what a ride we're on. Our games are FULL of events. Every week is a thrill. It's like even we lose (13 seconds) it's the most dramatic thing imaginable. We are Hollywood. No doubt about that.
  15. i fell asleep at 40-25 with 7 minutes left on the clock (it was 4am over here) just saw the score
  16. People are going to defend their team, you cant' blame them for that. But this has been shocking - especially in our own house It's what they do from here that matters, I suppose. And it's not the first time Henry has done this to us - and we've recovered.
  17. Our D's response to big plays has been as bad as I've ever seen. Emotionally soft
  18. we usually lose a game like this early in the season and recover from it. but it's the speed at which they've can put 7 on us on their drives that's so worrying this year like a knife through butter
  19. bosa is getting closer each time. i like the look of him
