  1. I like Eisen, don't hate the idea, but not sure it's as simple as this. Definitely need an upgrade @ WR2, & we don't have a lot of $ to get Barkley, upgrade OLine, new WR2, keep Edmunds, etc... We'll see what Beane can do.
  2. Lol. If I thought they did, I wouldn't be saying he needs our help w/ phone calls to drum up interest. Someone said his contract is up anyway. We'll see.
  3. Who cares. That's trash talking, worse is said on the field every game. They owned the Bills & so they get to say whatever they want. If Bills don't like it then beat them the next time they play them, that's it. I'll be routing for Cincy the rest of the way. I was at the game in Cincy, the way they & their fans handled that was classy. It was a cool city & their fans we're very cool to interact & talk ***** with. Plus if they win I know we're 18 pts away from it, but if they loose then we're even further away from a championship then we think.
  4. I actually remember this play they stayed like that through the snap & Burrow tossed an easy 1st down to Chase who was top of the screen. It was talked about a ton this morning by Howard & Jeremy on WGR who were saying we rushed 7 but gave an 8 yd cushion on 4th & 4. It was odd.
  5. Frazier's not getting fired. So we need to get him hired as a HC instead. Someone get the Cardinals # & let's start making calls.
  6. Until Allen, McD or Beane say it's a big deal, it's just not that big a deal. & Nothing some time away to reset won't fix. We have larger problems to fix at the moment. Also Digg's tweet is nothing compared to the Cowboys tweet blaming Dak for their loss: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ftw/2023/01/23/cowboys-official-twitter-account-crushed-dak-prescott/51216231/
  7. Right, but after all that, they will be in a cap crunch too & not be able to aquire free agents as easily as they can now. They will be in the position the Bills are currently in. It always gets harder once you get passed rookie deals. It's interesting for them that Burrow & Higgins are the same draft, then Chase is not far afterwards. Makes it harder, buy not impossible to space out. So they'll be good for a while, but this stuff could get interesting. Regardless, Cincy will be an issue for the foreseeable future.
  8. Close only counts in horse shoes & hand grenades. The goal was a Superbowl. It's not about 13 regular season wins it's about a SB win. Diggs tweet doesn't single anyone out, doesn't say Allen or anyone else, it says he doesn't like loosing. Take emotion out of it. Allen made motions in clear frustration yesterday when a receiver didn't go the way he wanted them to on a route (as he's done at other points). But no one gets on Allen about that. Nor should they. Allen hasn't said it's an issue, nor has McD. Until they say it is this is an over reaction. 😉 Hopefully it all blows over after a week away on a beach.
  9. Taking the emotion out, the Bills are a team that is built w/ a defective O-line and not enough weapons but a good not great D, top end WR1, & phenomenal QB. They have no $ or great draft capital or position, bc of the build (we are 30th in assets this off season, that's 3rd to last, see below). That makes it tough to fix the problems they have & do much. The Coach seems to have an aversion to rookies, so we can't just build through the draft but no $ to do much else. We desperately need 2 more true elite weapons to compete w/ Cincy & KC & have to fix 2 to 3 positions at O-Line. We have used 2 of the last 7 first round picks in O, so far from a guarantee we'll address things in the draft as it appears we are overly focused on the D. So Beane is going to have to do a lot of contract restructures to try to do anything more than run it back largely, w/ a few tweeks. But I don't logically see them getting much farther next year. & Yes if the Browns get Deshawn Watson for a full year next year I do logically have a reason for them to move forward. The Bolts need to stay healthy, but a coaching change would do them good. So in the end I agree w/ Diggs, this stinks, he should be upset. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-evaluating-which-nfl-teams-are-best-set-up-for-the-2023-offseason
  10. They have not had a real shot. They were blown out of the only AFC Championship game they were in recently. They have not been back in the 2 seasons since (pretenders go out in divisional games). It's not an overreaction it's just a fact. They were not as close as we thought. & Yesterday's putrid performance shows we're moving further away. If you think we can just run it back & get a different result you're in for another disappointment next year. Cincy & KC are not going away. Jags, Bolts are getting there. Browns will have their QB, if Phins & Jets get stable QBs, it will be even tougher. 63 years of futility & wait till next seasons is quite enough.
  11. I agree w/ Diggs 100%. I'm really having a tough time seeing this team ever really contending for a SB as currently constructed. I'm super frustrated, he should be too. He, Allen & Milano are the only players I give a pass too. They played their guts out. That performance by the coaches & rest of the team was putrid yesterday.
  12. Burrow & Tee Higgins in same draft class, Chase a year or 2 later. That's gonna get awful expensive awful soon. We'll see who they can afford to keep & how they do w/ no $. But yeah until then they are the team to beat. They will beat KC.
  13. Neither over the hill player, want new & exciting.
  14. Mahomes - 5 AFC games 2 SB appear 1 win Burrow - 2 AFC games 1 SB appear Allen - 1 AFC game If Burrow wins the SB he's w/ Mahomes & they are both passed Allen who can't even make 1. I know supporting cast & team yada yada yada. But it's a QB league, they get the glory & the blame. History will not see him as being as good as them if they have titles & he doesn't.
  15. How he handled the Hamlin situation buys him time bc it showed leadership & he does have the respect of the players. But the OC & DC can be upgraded & are fair game. The reality is the only one who might go is Dorsey, but I'll believe it when I see it.
  16. Definitely Dorsey & yes Frasier should move on too. But definitely definitely need a new OC. Anyone got the Panther's address so we can send a bunch of letters of recommendation?
  17. Surprise! Yes he is. Next question.
  18. Score more points than they do. We've invested tons into this already. Time to switch strategies & build up the Offensive arsenal w/ every single weapon we can get. Trade, draft, beg, borrow, steal. We need All the Weapons. Make the other team play catch up like Cincy & the Chiefs do to us. As for the D, it's time for a scheme change, cause same old same old doesn't work, take a page of Cincy's creative D play calling, hire one of their young assistants to be the new D coordinator.
  19. Ahh, the old, ya only beat me bc I was tired excuse. Used to hear that on the playground all the time. Gotta love the classics.
  20. Only reason I can think of is they need to keep him in to block bc the line is Soo bad. But not even sure that's it.
  21. Green Bay fans have been asking that about Rodgers for a decade (apparently their answer was all of them). This off-season will give us the answer in Buffalo.
  22. Retool & overhaul. May need to trade players to get what we need due to our salary cap situation & lack of extra draft assets. Need to rebuild the O-line, get a ton more weapons 2 or 3 Wrs, another RB. New coordinators. Different, more flexible D philosophy.
  23. His handling of the Hamlin situation is the only thing that earns him another shot in my mind. He was impressive with that. But he needs to make a lot of changes next year. They are 31st in tackling, Cincy was first, we were top 3 in drops & turnovers. Details matter & McD is not buttoned up on details. So next year needs to be different or yeah, it should be time for a change.
  24. Those aren't my only options. McD did not have his team ready today in any way. He took 3 timeouts into halftime & burned his second half timeouts w/ 7 minutes to go, no adjustments, no changes in how the offense operated last week to this one (chuck it deep Josh all the time). After last year's 13 seconds debacle, he should be on the hot seat, period. Otherwise expect more of the same. & I'll take a Zac Taylor, who gets his team to the SB in year 3 & looks on his way to another, possibly a win in his 4th season as head coach. That's the kind of guy we need.
