Wishing him evil? Do you have any idea how many millions of people would like to have his first world problems? Get over yourself Marcia. Put your problems in your satchel and buckle up your chinstrap.

He was just sacked by Brian Burns and was slow to get up... they're wrapping his shoulder in steamed banana leaves...

Couldn't disagree more. The next time the Anorexic Metrosexual says something interesting will be the first time. Brady's personality is like generic store brand, room temperature vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of imitation vanilla syrup mixed with equal parts tap water... served on a paper plate... with a plastic spoon and one of those cheap napkins that you couldn't even use to write a girl's phone number on. Also there's a huge difference between having knowledge and being able to convey it. I bet Frank Abagnale would be way better as a game analyst than Marcia. The bolded above is one of funniest things I've read in awhile... kudos!

Tim Harmston: The Packers Should Try To Skip The Bills Game
Sierra Foothills replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills are gonna crush Green Bay. Does that make you feel better? Agreed. Rodgers should have retired 2 years ago and spent his energy mending fences with family members and working on his putting. It's not going to matter if Green Bay is overconfident, underconfident, has a chip on their shoulder, their backs against the wall, a gun to their heads, is a team on a mission, has their manhood questioned, is a team of destiny, or any other motivation/imperative/mandate. They're gonna get their asses kicked by the Bills. They should definitely call in sick to work. -
Gene, you say that a QB has to win a Super Bowl to be considered great. Then you say that winning a Super Bowl doesn't qualify a QB as being great. Then others point out consensus great QBs who have never won a Super Bowl. It seems to me that your criteria is binary in a world that is anything but binary. So far you're saying that a QB is not great unless they win a Super Bowl but a QB who wins a Super Bowl is not necessarily great. Get outta here with that tbh.

These are interesting thoughts... a post-Josh world for Bills fans and particularly in comparison to a post-Brady world for Cheatriots*** fans. I can't speak for their side because I'm not one of them but I believe that Josh Allen has a very deep emotional connection with Bills fans that I'm skeptical that Brady has with New Englanders. Maybe I'm wrong. Specifically I feel like Josh has a more visceral, Brett Favre-type chemistry whereas Brady would be more of an Aaron Rodgers attraction... it's hard to explain.

I'm so glad to see an analysis that doesn't dwell wholly on Josh's physical gifts or his "work ethic." Of course he's the total package so he has both those things but you read a lot on this site where people attribute his success to his work ethic. If NFL success was as easy as work ethic Mike Viti would have been a multiple time All Pro: https://www.againstallenemies.com/2019/11/11/20960679/army-assistant-coach-mike-viti-former-fullback-wins-armed-forces-merit-award Do you know how many American males have devoted every fiber of their body to succeeding in the NFL (including guys at the D3 level) and failed? Josh is a highly-gifted person who possesses rare traits. That's the main reason he's as great as he is.

You watch "good" QBs like Carr... Cousins (?) and the drop in performance is a huge chasm. Russell Wilson looks like a high schooler, Lamar Jackson as MVP???? In what universe? Burrows looks like he's malnourished. People were/are touting Justin Herbert as if he's on the same level as Allen and Mahomes... so who was that wearing his uniform last Monday night against the Denver Broncos??? Brady and Rodgers look they need Rascal Motor Scooters. It's Allen and Mahomes and no one else is remotely close. I'm like you. Some people go through life taking much for granted... not even questioning how/why they were born into the life they now enjoy. Being a Bills fan since 1968, I will also never be spoiled. To me it's a privilege and a joy to watch Josh Allen play for the Buffalo Bills. It exceeds my wildest imagination and I am eternally grateful. Sincerely, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, and Nick Foles History is still being written. It's too early to talk about legacies. Tom Brady lost 3 Super Bowls. The video of McBeane watching Gabriel Davis run the 40 at the combine was great... they were hoping he'd have a poor time so he'd fall farther down draft boards. Interesting conspiracy theory.

A little week off humor from back in the day
Sierra Foothills replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wasn't on TSW when Josh was drafted but I was one of those who thought we drafted the "wrong Josh." My opinion was based on having watched all available video from his Wyoming days... I was not impressed. However the one game I did not watch pre-draft was the Senior Bowl and that's the one where you could actually see that he had a huge upside and was a diamond waiting to be polished. Had I watched the Senior Bowl stuff I would have had a very different opinion of him. -
Why is Daryl Williams Still a Free Agent?
Sierra Foothills replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Spot on. Josh has gone from a QB who didn't help his blockers (and often hurt them) with ill-advised movements into a QB who is one of the best in the league at helping his blockers through his pocket movements. As you said, the progression is stunning but Josh has a crazy capacity for improvement that is very rare for a QB. -
I'll give you another hour... 2 minutes per team should be sufficient time...

Why is Daryl Williams Still a Free Agent?
Sierra Foothills replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think you're onto something. I've noticed Josh makes his pass protection look better than it is. Not only is he getting the ball out more quickly than ever before, he also moves in ways that strengthen the pocket instead of weakening it like many unaware quarterbacks do. Josh rarely moves into a sack and he has that "up and down the ladder" move which seems to help his blockers. -
In consideration of the fact that the OP named names, you guys got any OL names in mind?

Regardless of OBJ and the fact that football and basketball roster building are like night and day, did you feel the same way about the Von Miller signing? Legit point. What of the concerns from those saying that the Bills are one injury to a boundary receiver from having a serious problem? Good post... thank you.

Why is Daryl Williams Still a Free Agent?
Sierra Foothills replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Legit question. It was a bit mysterious that he had an excellent 2020 season at tackle, to the point the team gave him a 3 year contract. Then he played poorly at tackle in 2021 but still salvaged the season by playing deccently at guard. I have two theories... the Bills were unhappy with his physical condition after he signed the new contract and/or Aaron Kromer doesn't view him as a system fit. -
I've been calling him the Anorexic Metrosexual for a few years now. He's clearly undernourished but I also wonder how much "work" he's had done. It's tough being one of the beautiful people.

Source tells me their sources have told them sources have confirmed GM Brandon Beane has feelers out to MULTIPLE teams. ????? Now there's some real quality work right there. Not sure if the writing is worse or the "journalism." It's no wonder this country is in decline. Read crap like that long enough and you'll be back to coloring books in a few months. Yes... the moral of the story (again) is that It's always better to read through AND THEN post... Or as a construction foreman might say, "what you're looking for isn't always gonna be on the top." Considering they were in Carolina when he was taken 8th overall, McBeane likely loves McCaffrey... it's likely the Bills saw which direction things were going and dropped out early. The Niners are not going to cut McCaffrey under any circumstances. It's not in the realm of possibility.

Washington Commanders are bouncing checks

Everyone should read this article to get a glimpse of the kind of person Daniel Snyder really is. This magnitude of shytheadedness is extremely rare: https://www.businessinsider.com/the-14-worst-business-practices-of-redskins-owner-daniel-snyder-2010-11#in-2006-vendors-at-fedex-field-sold-bags-of-peanuts-originally-made-and-packaged-for-independence-air-the-airline-had-been-out-of-business-for-more-than-a-year-5 -
STEFON DIGGS (his best season yet)
Sierra Foothills replied to Buffalo Ballin's topic in The Stadium Wall
You can see he's packed on some muscle, particularly in his lower body. It's awesome that in his 8th NFL season he's reached a higher level of performance. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a career best year. -
Trevor Hoffman and Mariano Rivera were both great closers... but couldn't be different stylistically. Hoffman kept throwing that change up (has any other pitcher built such a career on the change?) whereas it seems like Rivera broke bats with that cutter every time I saw him pitch. Both Josh Allens are great football players so they have that in common too. And now I get to be the 6th person in 3 pages to point out that it's Tracy Hoffman, Trevor's wife that's from Buffalo.

Filthy Beast... is that you? Anyways you know what they say when you have two quarterbacks...

ink things changed There's MILFs and then there's 75 years old. Cheryl Tiegs is the latter. Just sayin... -
Nevertheless I stand by what I said. Good CBs are hard to find and if Hyde and Poyer were good CBs they'd still be playing that position. As for next year I'm not convinced Jaquan is gonna be a good safety... I'm more sure Hamlin will be. And it certainly wouldn't surprise me if they drafted a safety. We shall see.

The Bills D has given up fewer yards than with Tre last year because the D-line is substantially better. Add Tre to a defense with Von Miller, an improved Greg Rousseau and Daquan Jones there's no telling what heights they'll reach. I was surprised to see you write this Shaw. They won't take one of the best and most highly-paid nickel corners in the league and make him a backup safety. Last year before White was injured in week 12 the Bills were playing man coverage around 38% of the time which is the highest figure in the McDermott era. White was also used in man-zone combo more than ever last year... which allowed him to "travel" with opposing WRs. I disagree with those who say Benford will transition to safety soon. While he's a good fit for safety, corners who can play corner rarely transition to safety until late in their careers after they've lost a step. I view Benford as that unicorn large CB like Richard Sherman who can matchup against players like Mike Evans, Courtland Sutton, and Michael Thomas.
