  1. Okay, so if he was late to the GAME (which we don’t know if he was or wasn’t), do you retract the “Friday Night Lights nonsense” comment? Lol Or would you run your professional multimillionaire organization by letting rookies roll through whenever?
  2. What? There are basically zero HC’s who wouldn’t do some form of punitive coaching for a rookie who was late to a GAME.
  3. I’m sure the teams that started 0-3 before also had some winnable games left on their schedule. They aren’t gonna win the division. Maybe they sneak into last WC spot. Maybe.
  4. I think we can count them out. 0-3 start, only 1 team has made the playoffs in 24 years.
  5. Because I told all my friends to bet on Jags to cover.
  6. gosh, Brady has made Josh’s life so much easier. Imagine if he had been the OC for years?
  7. Just curious, have you been watching Xavier Worthy tape?
  8. You know Mahomes has Rashee Rice, who is #1 in catches and #2 in yards in the whole NFL, right?
  9. While it’s very fun to dance on the Dolphins, they can’t all suck. They are a fundamentally flawed team, with a hurt QB1. Most teams in the NFL would look bad missing their guy at QB.
  10. The contract cap hit hasn’t even kicked in yet. Brutal.
  11. My memory may be failing me but I seem to recall the Chiefs running a toss against the Bills on 4th and inches and scoring a 40 yard TD and winning the game.
  12. He’s already tried and failed to be an HC in the NFL. Combine that with defensive guys being a dying breed at HC, and previously fired defensive guys virtually nonexistent at HC and that’s why he ain’t going anywhere.
  13. At a certain point, it becomes silly to be against a team NOT being able to look better. That’s the point @GoBills808 keeps making. We all expect Keon to look better in November than now. The Chiefs likely feel the same about Worthy. Kelce looked on the edge of finished last regular season and exploded in the postseason. The Chiefs, with their resume, are going to be considered “not SB-worthy” on the day they either miss the playoffs or get knocked out of the postseason by an inferior opponent. They’ve earned that benefit of the doubt, just like the Pats did.
  14. Meh, the Chiefs put up 400 yards on the Dolphins and 455 on the Niners after averaging 350 in the regular season. Really the only game they played keep away last year was the Ravens and that was because Lamar consistently came up small. And if you include the Bills game, they basically outperformed their regular season offense in 3/4 playoff games, including the SB.
  15. You incredibly proved the point exactly. ”We’re into Cincinnati” was born of the Pats going 2-2 in September, with them getting blown out by 30 points in primetime vs the Chiefs. It was when folks hilariously claimed they were no longer “SB-worthy.” They went on to play in 4 of the next 5 SB’s and won 3 of them.
  16. The easier comparison is the Pats, with everyone claiming they are dead because they lost one game in October then they win like 4 more SBs. We were there. We were there the day “We’re onto Cincinnati ” was born.
  17. ??? Please don’t tell me you’re one of those guys who saw the Bengals play a stinker week 1 and will be shocked when they win 10+ games…. again.
  18. The Ravens, the Bengals and the Falcons.
  19. you know that statistically, the Bills stadium isn’t all that difficult to kick in?
  20. 100% correct. If you have to bet on the Bills go ML, but that’s just a bad bet through and through. I love the 9ers -6.5, under 38.5 giants Browns, and Packers +3.
  21. It’s very sad. Blue bloods in CFB and college hoops seem to be a thing of the past. Teams like OSU and Alabama will still be ranked, but we won’t see them alternating Natty appearances ever again imo.
  22. the Reid and Shanny parallels are really strong. Inarguable success but can’t climb the mountaintop in the weaker conference with overall weaker QB’s.
  23. Probably the funniest story I have read in a while. The 44 year old who sacrificed his marriage and his entire home life for football in his pursuit to win Super Bowls constantly…. was a little intense about football. I know there’s a generational difference between kids today and older guys like Brady. But this is pretty funny.
  24. Josh has a case? Drafted to sit, but starts second half of week 1. Backup is known bad QB Nate Peterman (who is not an NFL vet) One of the least talented team in the franchises’ history Pairing him with an OC with a not great track record at best Scrambling to pull an actual NFL vet off the couch in October in Derek Anderson
  25. He’s been fine with tons of assets thrown the defenses’ way. The thing about consistently winning in the NFL is that the only person that matters is the QB. The greatest defensive coach in the history of the NFL was slogging through .500 years without the QB. The Bills oversaw the longest playoff drought in the NFL without the QB. Eberflus being a good DC or a bad DC or a great DC is kind of irrelevant. The only thing that is going to change that team’s trajectory was if Fields succeeded or now if Caleb succeeds.
