  1. Expected Peter Pan and clicked anyway
  2. The Chiefs missed their Khalil Shakir and their Keon Coleman counterparts for basically the entire season last year.
  3. The Bills trainers let Matt Milano do pushups with a torn bicep last year, no?
  4. The best TEs in the NFL are almost all later picks . Kelce was a third McBride was a second Kittle was a fifth. LaPorta was a second. Hunter Henry was a second Mark Andrews was a third. the one exception is Bowers who was an early first. The best WRs were almost all top picks. JJ - first Chase - first BTJ - first. Lamb - first. Jeudy - first AJ Brown - second Wilson - first etc etc its clear to me that much like QB, you almost have to chase WRs in the first (especially as the Bills where there’s a load of difference between pick 38 and pick 62 making finding one in the second a lot harder) if you want a reasonable chance to get a very good one. otherwise you are just hoping you strike complete dumb luck, like ARSB in the fifth or Tom Brady in the sixth. Which to me, evokes drought Bills vibes. Drafting Trent and the other of later round gaggles hoping they get lucky instead of taking a true swing on talent.
  5. The trainers made Matt do push ups with a torn bicep right
  6. It’s okay but not a perfect test. There’s a couple different maneuvers. Anterior drawer, etc etc. Ultimately, any question, and the guy is headed straight to MRI.
  7. That’s an unbelievable stat.
  8. I think taking swings on top ten talent that fell for whatever reason is always a good idea. Will Johnson looks like he’s already won the CB1 job in Arizona. Who knows how it’ll play out, but it will sting if he becomes a star compared to Max.
  9. Vrabel was notoriously against this trade.
  10. WGR is gonna have a field day with this
  11. I hear you but I think we take for granted our bookend continuity. Ultimately, losing an OT for a season is not uncommon and it’s nice to have a talent pipeline at such a high paid position. suffice it to say, if we have our usual late first round pick and an OT was sitting there as the clear BPA, I would take him without second thought. Yeah I’m implying that if we have pick 32 because we win the Super Bowl, Beane would have to draft all punters for 2 years in a row before I call for his head.
  12. If we draft him at pick 32, I will keep my pitchfork in the closet.
  13. So much depends on this year. Ed repeats 2024 and he could be a cut/trade candidate and IDL is on the menu. With TE, if Kincaid falters again, and Knox is already primed for a 2026 offseason departure, that could be a massive need. WR and DE is always discussed. Will need to replace Bosa in 2026 so there will be a slot open. WR depends on Coleman/Palmer/Samuel/Moore. Even if Moore pops, does he price himself out of Buffalo? CB seems like a stretch, even if Hairston is Elam 2.0. OT would be smart to prep for Dawkins successor if needed. S would be dependent on another disaster by Bishop.
  14. Consensus big board had Hairston at 34. Jahdae Barron and Will Johnson were ranked ahead of him. Barron went at 20, and Will Johnson fell to 47.
  15. The problem with a third rounder is that Terry would need to know enough to voice a strong opinion. I’m not sure they had an official meet with Spencer.
  16. You are friends with the Legion of Boom!!!!
  17. He seems too young to have lingering knee problems already
  18. Terry loved Breece Hall confirmed
  19. The more I think about it, it might be Rousseau. For pick #30, he’s been productive but he was pretty raw coming out. And it’s not like he’s been terribly underwhelming for his draft position. I would say he’s exceeded expectation for his draft status than Ed has overall. The only alternative if Beane is talking about Eddy after 23.
  20. Has to be a first or second round pick imo. Thoughts would be Josh, Edmunds, Eddy, Rousseau, Cook, OCT?
  21. He was better with the Ravens. Despite being better with the Ravens, he allowed a 122.8 passer rating last year.
  22. Tre allowed 122.8 FWIW.
  23. Yeah my take is if Tre can be better than Elam in the AFCCG, that’s a win. it begs the question why we hung on to Elam so long for him to ultimately sink our season, but hey.
