  1. You're not going to find a 220 lb back who's known for his tackle-breaking ability, runs a sub-4.5, won the Doak Walker award, and is a 1st team All-American in the undrafted FA pool and there's not a ton of actual first round talent in the areas we have our biggest needs. It's all going to come down to who's on the board when it gets to us. Only a few WRs are actual first round talent in this draft. Same for OL. I don't want to see the Bills reach. If Robinson is somehow there, I think you have to take him. If Robinson is gone and depending on what WRs and OL are still on the board, we may be better trading out of the first to the early second to get our guy and get an additional pick. If someone like Jalin Hyatt is still there, maybe we take him or one of the few 1st round talents on the OL.
  2. What I saw were two dominant offensive lines. Something we should be trying to build instead of signing clowns like Saffold.
  3. Ah, the old Trent Dilfer - Dan Marino argument.
  4. I see the Chiefs going WR or EDGE. I think they are good with Pacheco honestly and can't see them taking Robinson. I keep seeing mocks having him go to Baltimore, but they need more help at WR too. Other mocks have him going to Dallas, which with Pollard there, doesn't make much sense either unless they don't think he's a long-term answer. Also seen Gibbs as projected to Dallas too. It would be crazy to see a top 5 talent fall to the end of the round, but it is a possibility however small.
  5. Yeah, Beane could try to use FA to fix the line. If he does, I hope he does better than Saffold. I don't know what they were looking at that made them think that guy could still play. Even then, it should've been obvious in camp that he was done.
  6. I get what he's saying, but that can be misleading. Leading rusher on the Super Bowl winning team? Pierre Thomas has 30 yards against Indy. James Starks had 52 yards against the Steelers. Ray Rice had 59 yards against SF. Legarrette Blount had 31 yards in the Pats-Falcons SB. Cam Akers had 21 yards against Cincy. I think the real point is that many of those teams didn't have strong rushing performances and didn't have high priced RBs but still won vs making it sound like they got great games out of cheap RBs.
  7. If that pick happened, and based on previous draft pick history other than Josh, I'd have to say that's the final straw that convinces me this FO doesn't have what it takes to ever win a title. Ditto if the pick is on defense. I could actually see a Safety pick from this FO, but it shouldn't be in the first round. Much bigger needs on this team.
  8. Ridiculous. Why would we draft the same type of back we already have? Bijan Robinson is the only back that would make any sense for us and that's only if he's there for us when we pick. He's a top 5 talent in the draft. I think this guy just throws darts at a board, then writes his article. And how many of them are actually first round talent? I think we could potentially trade out of the first round into the early second, still get a good WR, and get an additional pick on top of it. If Bijan Robinson is somehow still there at 27, I think we have to take him. Maybe one of the elite OL, which there are few that would be considered first round talent.
  9. The only thing that popped into my head regarding the Bills during the SB was something along the lines of: Why can't we have nice things and get an OL like either of these two teams have?
  10. Robinson is a top 5 talent in this draft. He's the only back I'd consider taking this entire draft. If he's there at 27 I think we have to take him. At 27, what true first round talent is still going to be there? Very few, if any WRs are true first rounders in this draft IMO. I think we can still get a good WR in the second and good OL help in the 3rd and 4th. I don't personally think Robinson is going to be there for us to take at 27 anyway, but there's still a possibility even if small. If there's not true first round talent when we're up, I've open to the idea of even trading out of the first and trying to get into the early second. I think we can still get our WR and our OL needs filled and get another pick in the process.
  11. Yeah, I had a nice chuckle at the posts saying we should trade Diggs because of the spat with Josh in the Cincy game. Just an absolutely ridiculous proposal that makes neither football nor financial sense.
  12. I think this would be a fantastic draft, but I don't see a few of these guys still being on the board for us in those particular rounds. They were still there in the simulator, so I rolled with it. I can dream. I'm not trying to take a RB in the first round, but I think we'd be foolish to not grab Robinson if he's still there. I think we'd have one of the best backfields in football with him and Cook assuming he produces like we would expect. Grabbed a Safety and DT because I'm assuming Poyer isn't going to be back and I'd like to shop Oliver and get bigger up front on the D-Line.
  13. Consider? You wouldn't have to ask me twice, LOL. We need to get bigger there and maybe we can get someone along the lines of another Daquan for a decent price on the FA market. I love Poyer, but it's undeniable he has slowed down. Probably time to move on there. My only fear is that this makes McBeane consider going Safety in the early rounds, which I think is a mistake given the needs on offense. Tre's contract makes him almost untradeable given the dead cap hit and what team is going to be willing considering how he looked coming off ACL surgery. That would be a huge gamble. I don't see them trading Davis, but they could if the offer is right. Next season is the final year of his rookie contract. The FO is probably hoping he turns the corner in a contract year.
  14. This draft is pretty deep with OL talent so we should be able to get some well after the first round. I don't think Gesicki is a good fit for us. We expect our TE's to be able to block and he's not a good blocker, so he's just a glorified WR. He's also probably going to want more than we would want to spend on a second TE. We get the protection squared away, we get a solid option opposite Diggs, and Dorsey finally incorporates our backs into the passing game, I think we're sitting pretty good then.
  15. Don't think Johnson is going to be there for us when we pick. I think Rice or Boutte may be. I think both may still be available in the second round. Unless someone like Bijan Robinson or one of the top prospect OL are still there at our first round selection, it might be an option for us to trade out of the first round and try to get into the early second. We could get our WR and pickup another pick in the process.
  16. Who said he made the decision? He gave his input and the FO took his advice. I think you meant to say they should ignore the input of the face of the franchise.
  17. LMAO, I remember that game. We blew a huge lead but managed to get it back with :15 seconds left. How many other QBs aren't flat on their back with at least 3 guys on top of him if that happens to them?
  18. I'm down to chipping in to pay Daboll to conduct an off-season refresher course for Dorsey and to delete some of the garbage out of the playbook that I never want to see again. 😂
  19. Yeah, this guy must be talking about an Aaron Donald that feasts on immobile QBs because Josh certainly hasn't had an issue with him and that's with our less-than-stellar OL. I think it's a miracle that Josh only takes the amount of sacks he does given how bad the line looks at times. You put a pure pocket passes behind our line and he probably gets sacked 50 times this season at a minimum. Saffold was good for at least a couple turn styles a game.
  20. Yep, and the bottom line is they listened to the doctors. This idea they somehow jeopardized his and the team's future is nonsense. I don't even know where this is coming from. Gotta be trolling.
  21. OK and? Not sure what that has to do with anything, but the consensus is that the Bills had a great shot at a title last year if they hadn't brain farted the end of the game away in a game that was all but won. And I think we sacked Stafford 7 times and picked him off 3. Great showing all around minus the turnovers.
  22. https://www.nfl.com/news/bills-qb-josh-allen-won-t-need-elbow-surgery-on-track-for-full-recovery-by-2023- Yeah, it was a partial tear, but not serious enough that doctors thought it required surgery. I find it hard to believe people think McD is the type of guy that would jeopardize Josh's and the Team's entire future like that. This coaching staff would probably be one of the first teams in the league to shut Josh down if they thought it was necessary.
  23. What? You don't think Josh continuing to play was done under careful consultation with team doctors? The Bills are known to be very conservative with injuries. This is just a bad take.
  24. We put 31 points up on them with relative ease. It was nothing.
