  1. Brady didn't bring his A game either. The infatuation with the sneak/tush push was maddening. Some of the other play calling was very questionable too including the fade to Coleman on the 3rd down against McDuffie before the 4th down toss to Samuel. I couldn't believe what I was watching on that play.
  2. LOL. I think they actually learned from the Rodgers one because I can't remember who it was against, but they had Keon and I think Mack out on the field as defenders instead of just some short DBs.
  3. Josh hit a receiver in the hands with the ball. Kincaid was open too.
  4. Chiefs would've needed a TD if we scored a TD and XP. We probably run the ball a couple times and don't leave any time left considering we had TO's. You'd probably be taking about a hail mary attempt by KC.
  5. You mean Kincaid dropped what was not a super difficult pass on 4th down with Josh having immediate pressure in his face.
  6. Outside of the first two drives where it was pretty clear Josh was dealing with some nerves, I think he played a pretty good game against a top tier defense that was disguising blitzes and changing coverages that would confuse many good NFL QBs. We were in position to tie or take the lead with 2:00 left in the game and had our 1st round TE caught what was not an overly tough catch for an NFL receiver, I believe the game is either going to overtime, or we're winning in regulation.
  7. Besides being a headcase, he's another Diggs who will complain if he's not getting the touches he thinks he should get.
  8. Not too many QBs recognize what's happening on the snap and are able to make that throw. At least not with any power or accuracy. I would even say probably many end up taking a sack there.
  9. Had Kincaid made that catch, I think the game is at least going to overtime, but with my rose-colored glasses, feel we could've put it in the endzone with basically no time left.
  10. Josh got fooled by the D call. Spags disguised the blitz perfectly making it look like the pressure was coming from the other side. You can see Bolton on the clip posted threatening blitz up the middle and then backed out into coverage. It's a game of cat and mouse and Spags got the call correct. Crazy part is Josh still was able to beat it and it should've moved the chains.
  11. I give Keon a little more slack than Dalton seeing this was his rookie season, but not much. Dalton now going into year 3 and didn't produce as much as Tucker Kraft in GB did, taken in the 3rd round of the same draft class.
  12. Literally blocked nobody that play, but that's what a Spags defense will do to an o-line at times. Unfortunately, it was on 4th down.
  13. Josh may not have even been able to see him, at least not very well. He knew where he was supposed to be. Once again, the supporting cast lets him down.
  14. Who's made some great catches this year and is also a better blocker than Kincaid anyway. I know Kincaid missed a couple games, but durability is also part of the game. Kincaid underachieved this season and had a worse year than Tucker Kraft (GB TE taken in the 3rd round, same year as Kincaid).
  15. Groot lost contain on multiple plays in that game and without a spy on Mahomes, the edge was there for Mahomes to run all night.
  16. While we're naming names, add Groot to the list of no-shows last night. He spent more time on the ground than upright. I don't think we pay him or at least I think we shouldn't. Another Edmunds situation as far as I'm concerned. He just never showed me enough and never shined-through when we needed it most.
  17. Not saying Mahomes isn't great because he is, but comparing the two when Mahomes was playing against our lousy D when Josh was playing the KC D that has carried them all year isn't really fair. I think Josh would shred our D too. They are comparable talent-wise, with Mahomes given the edge based on resume.
  18. Mahomes went into what should be any QB's dream scenario coming out of college.
  19. I think any talented QB going into the Andy Reid system would've had success. Mahomes level? Who knows and we'll never know, but I think if you put Josh in that same situation, I think Josh already has at least one ring by now, if not multiple.
  20. LMAO, I'd chip in but I don't know how much Terry would care unless we put if right outside his house.
  21. I'd be OK with Garrett as long as it's not a long term deal. He turns 30 in December. No more Von Miller-esque contracts for guys on the wrong side of 30. Problem with that though is those guys want long term deals at that stage. DJ Moore's contract is pretty gross. He's basically owed $23.5M every year through 2029. I don't really think he's worth that IMO.
  22. His contract aside, I'm sure LV is going to want more than just pick 30. We'd basically be eating up most of any cap room we have plus giving up a ton of draft capital just on one player and hoping he turns into what we expected from Von and didn't get. I think getting another run stuffing DT to replace Daquan is a bigger need IMO.
  23. Didn't say it was because of us. I said we were discussing viable options that were in the realm of possibility, which ended up happening. McD getting canned isn't. It's venting frustrations, which is fine, but needs to be recognized for what it really is.
  24. True, but discussions we've had on this board have turned into reality in the past. We discussed WR options available mid-season (Cooper) and that's who they ended up bringing on board.
  25. It all starts up front. Until we get a D-Line that can consistently control the LOS and generate pressure, we will also ultimately continue to have problems at LB and the secondary no matter who is back there even if some of those guys are pretty good (Benford, Milano, Bernard).
