I have been researching this field and have been reading websites of some of the major firms (BCG, McKinsey). Just wondering if anyone knows anything from first hand experience. Thanks.

Many Canadians are season ticket holders. They came to games in the early 90's. We didn't need to market in Toronto then because the Bills were one of the best teams in the league and had an explosive offense. Many teams in the NFL do not have to be regional. The Bills, unfortunately, do.

Another piece of advice I would give is never to store your guitar in a complicated case, unless you're taking it out of the house. I like to have mine at the ready whenever the mood strikes me. You will be less likely to play it if it is hermetically sealed in an excessive case.

Mac experts.... How do you Search for specific file types on an external hard drive that is not yet indexed? Better question, how to force a drive to be indexed?

The way I always did it in my Madden franchises was to draft raw talent in the final rounds. I always drafted a lot of fast DBs and WRs because you can't teach speed.

I agree with this statement. I just got a new macbook, and in my research I was debating between the lenovos and mac. Ultimately I chose the the macbook because it looks and feels physically more durable. When it comes right down to it, I think that perceived durability is what I paid the premium for. I was sick of components inside my Dell becoming loose and disconnected from the motherboard.

First, I would appreciate it if this wasn't moved to the consumer forum yet. I'm aware of all the basics of backing up: Always have a backup of the backup. Keep your backup sources separate geographically, etc. I've read the threads where Fez strongly advocates an online service such as Mozy. What I'm looking for is a simple and reliable piece of freeware (or cheap) software that will automatically backup certain directories on your computer to an external drive. I was using Iomega Automatic backup, only because it came with one of my drives. Any recommendation would be appreciated. Thanks.

My experience: two degrees in chemistry: Canisius for undergrad and UB for grad school. I just finished UB in December, so my opinion is fresh. I originally chose Canisius because I was intimidated by the large size of UB and quite frankly I wasn't ready to man up and face such a vast array of options. I enjoyed my experience there and learned a great deal academically and met some great people.....HOWEVER after being at UB for the last five years I realize that I probably would have benefited and grown more if I had attended ANY large university like UB. As others have said, there are lots more opportunities to do cutting edge research, be exposed to more diverse cultures, and meet an exponentially larger number of future networking connections. I firmly believe that the college you attend is quite irrelevant after a few years, and the education that you receive is 90% dependent upon your personal desire to learn and WORK HARD. I advocate you making the transfer not for academic reasons, but because with all the academic and social opportunities at a large school like UB, you will mature faster and become a much more well-rounded, self-reliant individual. You should also realize that just because you attend a school doesn't mean they will serve your career to you on a silver platter, you have to go out there and take it. The problem is, at a smaller school like Le Moyne, there aren't as many career opportunities on the menu in comparison to a place like UB.

Good point, it was a little chilly, but the pool was open at the Bellagio. I just felt like Clark Griswald when he got to WAlly World when I saw all that excavated sand.

I would like to re-iterate, the HARD ROCK POOL WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION ONE MONTH AGO. Before I went to Vegas I re-read all the threads on TSW about Vegas. Everybody always suggests the Hard Rock Pool, so I went expecting to witness the most unbelievable orgy of all time. When I got there, all I saw was a bunch of sweaty dudes digging up sand.

I never interpreted Gallo's outward bravado or Buffalo '66 as a middle finger salute to Buffalo. After reading the Buffalo News review of this book, it seems as though the author loves Buffalo for what it is. I think Gallo loves it too, even though sometimes he hates to admit it. Read the author's quote that was in the Buffalo News article. Buffalonians like Gallo and this guy always deliver a certain amount of self-deprecation when trying to depict their hometown. But deep down, Buffalonians love Buffalo with the same type of loyalty that a kid loves his gimpy three-legged dog. All of the city's "inadequacies" are what make it unique and maybe even more lovable than those "perfect" cities in the US. That's the tone I get from the book review, and I don't interpret it as an insult.

If you are trying to get the in-state tuition rate at Buff state, why would you call and tip their hats? Just change your residence ASAP and tell them you are an NYS resident when it comes time to pay tuition.
