    Yes! It is inexplicable. He just never freaking learns. How many times does he have to see a defensive timeout, when the opposing offense, help the opponent, before he stops doing them????

    McDermott NEVER FREAKING LEARNS. Its truly sickening. Dont EVER call defensive timeout when the opposing offense is battling the clock. NEVER give them time to come up with a play. For ***** sake dude. How many times are you going to make this mistake???? Bailed out by Denver’s kicker.

    it should have been play-action on first down when the Denver d was stacking the box, and then a run on 2nd down. Brady is great but play-action is his kryptonite. He has little feel for it and misses perfect situations to call it.

    Brady is very good. But he has poor instinct for when to do a play-action. That first down was begging for it.

    Yeah, he should have made the Knox play. Part of me does wonder though why Knox kept moving to Josh’s left when Josh was clearly scrambling/moving to his right. There was plenty of space to move with the QB’s direction.

    Drive was doomed when Brady went run on 1st down and then emptied the backfield on 2nd and 3rd down. Broncos knew there was no threat of run on 2nd and 3rd down. A play action on 1st would have been ideal.
