  1. A former Oklahoma State player who played for the Bills just sent me four free tickets to the game in Kansas City. I'm STUNNED. Can't wait to see them in person again (I'm from Oklahoma, rarely get to see them live) even though we're struggling right now.
  2. I lived at Forest Ridge in BA for 4 years... miss that part of the state.
  3. Yea, I know. If OSU does lose and there's a jam.. have the tiebreaker over Kansas, Kansas State, OU.
  4. I walked out of Boone Pickens Stadium after losing 33-7 to FREAKING SOUTH ALABAMA thinking... "We're going 2-10. No way we win another game." I'd have bet $100,000 on it. Fast forward 7 weeks? Unless we totally f'up, we are going back to Arlington to (likely) play Texas for the Big XII title... a team we've beat 9 of the past 13 games in the series. CRAZY season.
  5. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/oct/30/maine-gunmans-family-reached-out-to-sheriff-five-months-before-shootings Again, this isn't a gun issue. This could have been prevented. LEO f'ed up again. We don't need more damn laws. We need those laws to be enforced. Period.

  7. I have stickers on all sides of my home Yea, meth heads will probably ignore the signs and cameras but once the alarm goes off maybe they'll leave. Then there's nothing of serious value they can grab. Maybe the PS5, 70" screens, etc? I do have a valuable vintage Star Wars collection in my home.. so that's really the only risk. I also have a insanely loud and crazy Sheltie that barks A LOT. He gets REAL pissed off when the horses lay down for some reason 😂 But he can see the drive from the gate to the parking area via the front windows (it's right at his height). He will bark at everything. Sorta annoying really, but I love the little guy.
  8. Why not? Why not have a firearm just in case something happens? Why not have a first aid kit in your car, just in case of a car accident? Why not have security cameras just in case someone tries to break in? Believe it or not, as peaceful as it is in my part of the world... there are a meth heads. There was a dude who tried to break into a house just 2 miles from me, off the same dirt road. He was caught and is in jail waiting for his court date. https://johnstoncosentinel.com/2023/10/break-in-results-in-felony-charges-against-tishomingo-resident/ And no, I don't. I get alerted when a human walks past the cameras. I get alerted if a window or door opens. Technology is amazing these days. Anything else? He doesn't have an answer. He and David Hogg just love to scream about taking guns from people, yet have no plan on how that would play out.
  9. You're calling the hood.... a "swamp"? Well, I agree with that assessment.
  10. So what you're telling me... if you collect something, you're a target for being robbed. LOL Dude, I live in a rural Oklahoma town, actually outside that little town on 30+ acres. I have a gated fence with a lot of security. In fact, my house has 8 cameras, mostly outside and a damn good alarm. I have a SECUREIT safe that's bolted to the ground, a safe located in a "cubby hole." You're not getting into it unless you know the code. My sheriff, who is a bad ass VERY pro-2A VERY conservatives guy (beat the ***** out of you before the handcuffs if you've done something really bad, type of LEO) has my gate code and my cell phone. Oh, I also have a 'ranch hand' who is out here 5-6 hours a day working with the horses. So yea, they could try to break in but good luck. God bless them if they try it when I'm home.
  11. I honestly can't remember. Last year, all the talk was about CMC (look what he's done to help the 49ers). This will be another "nothing" burger as usual. Signing dudes who are sitting at home or on a practice squad isn't going to push us over the edge this season.
  12. Hey, this guy isn't doing anything either... (but selling cars here in Oklahoma)
  13. Gang shootings again. Not a crazy white dude at a bowling alley. Stop gang violence.
  14. Someone with that many firearms are either a FFL who works at home (I know people who used to do that) or is a collector.
  15. No, they aren't. And I wish. I'd love to have that many firearms.
  16. I have anger issues because I own firearms and if someone broke into my house to hurt one of the people I love... I'd stop that threat... that means I have "anger issues". Well, if that's the case, I guess I do. 🙄 Ah, so that means more people will fall through the cracks that shouldn't be allowed to own a gun. Great start to the conversation on how to stop these shootings. Maybe you can see how complicated it can get?
  17. I completely agree. So how? How about law enforcement (both local, state and federal) do their jobs? The guy in Maine was inpatient for 2 weeks, made threats to shoot up a National Guard... the guy in the Texas church shooting, he was dishonorably discharged from the Navy. Both should have not been able to own a firearm. LEO should have gone in and done something about that. There are THOUSANDS of gun laws in the country. How many more do we need? How about we enforce the ones we already have first? Start there?
  18. You literally don't know what will happen in the future. Pointless to argue with you, Joe, Tibs, or any other liberal. The 2A isn't going away. Guns aren't going away... and I'm not turning mine in because I WILL NOT be unable to protect myself or my family. You can do whatever you like.
  19. Again, ever heard of Ukraine? Your argument is... it's basically pointless to ever fight a tyrannical government so why bother? Give up your right to protect your life, your families life and your rights? That's what you're wanting. Well, some people aren't built that way. I'm not built to give up and lay down. Not going to sit by while Negan bashes my loved one in the head with a bat. You would though.
  20. Ever heard of Ukraine? Good to know good old Joe (Beta male) will just jump in the dug up ditch before he's shot in the back of the head.
  21. Well, you can legally own grenade launchers, tanks, etc. Most people don't have the means (money) to buy them, or go through that process. You can also own MiG-29 fighter jet if you can put down the money for it. The nukes argument is ridiclous. Good luck building one. 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% on the planet don't have the ability to do that and that is illegal (18 USC 831). 450,000,000 firearms in the United States. Most are semi-automatic. We have a 2A to protects our rights. Not your feelings. Sorry. (as for my limit? It's what the wife will allow, or doesn't notice... but I own a nice number of firearms. None have hurt a soul... and I keep checking every day if they have... since it's the guns. Right?) Again, if you think it's harder for someone to get sinus medication than a gun, you're a moron.
  22. Yea, "I don't want to understand how buying a firearm actually works... I'll just share cartoons that I'll believe are true." You're an idiot. You probably get your firearm info from The View. My avatar? Prison Mike? What... are you 104? Let me be clear, IDGAF what you think. 95% of ALL GUNS in America are semi-auto. Nearly EVERY handgun is semi-auto. We hunt with them. We sports shoot with them. But most importantly, we have them for PROTECTION. From evil people and a tyrannical government. That's why we have a 2A. There are your reasons to own a firearm. "lETs GiVE gUNs oNLY tO ThE goVErnMEnt" Idiot.
  23. You sharing that cartoon proves how uneducated you are on the subject. If you believe that's true, you need to just STFU about firearms... forever.
  24. Violence does happen all over the world. Knife attacks in Japan for example... truck massacre in France (killed almost 100). The fact is, we are the only country in the world with a 2A. That's not going away. Ever. 450 million firearms in the country. Not going to bottle up that box. We need to figure out why these things happen more often than they did pre-Columbine. We had Austin (clock tower), Edmond (OK post office), the Luby's shooting... again, something changed with our society around 1999/2000. What was it? And it's gone straight to the topic of guns... has it not? So being pro-gun is being pro-genocide. Dude. LOL
  25. What's sad... The topic has gone STRAIGHT to guns. Straight to the AR-15. Not the person who did it.
