  1. Don't watch The Kings Speech, Django Unchained or The Imitation Game because Harvey Weinstein produced those movies. I'm still waiting to hear what's so controversial about the films content. Nothing in the movie was anti-left.
  2. Watched in on Tuesday and it's a GREAT movie. I don't see ANY aspect of the film as to why people on the left would be triggered. At all. Makes zero sense because it doesn't push any anti-left or pro-right ideology. It shows the operation that Tim Ballard took part in and what he did following his reignition from the Department of Homeland Security. NOTHING about politics in the film.
  3. Anyone know where I could find a large carved wooden buffalo? I've bought smaller ones here in Oklahoma, but I moved into a new house we built and wanted to put a large one under the TV (I'm also looking for a large carved Pistol Pete, I'm an Oklahoma State fan). Thanks!
  4. Don’t forget her greatest role…. Wolf of Wall Street. Why? She’s full blown naked.
  5. Seems you have something against the man. Where did he touch you? Well... let's talk about his films (in backwards order) Oppenheimer: 8.8 IMDB, 94% Rotten Tomatoes TENET: 7.3, 69% (I believe most people simply didn't grasp the movie) Dunkirk: 7.8, 92% Interstellar: 8.7, 73% (one of my favorite movies) The Dark Knight Rises: 8.4, 87% Inception: 8.8, 87% The Dark Knight: 9.0, 94% (arguably, the greatest comic book movie of all-time. May never be overtaken) The Prestige: 8.6, 86% Batman Begins: 8.2, 84% Insomnia: 7.2, 92% Memento: 8.4, 93% Following: 7.5, 82% He never fails in his films. Nominated for five Academy Awards and every one of his movies end up winning the "AFI Movies of the Year". Interstellar, with the help of Kip Thorne, accurately predicted what an actual black hole looks like. Dude is a flat out genius.
  6. Saw Oppenheimer today at the local IMAX. Loved it. Nolan is just an amazing screenwriter and director. It's a little 'all over the place' for the first half of the movie, but it then ties up and makes total sense at the end. They did leave a lot of crazy/tragic things that happened that weren't in the movie... like the death of physicist Louis Slotin. They never really showed or talked about that. But WELL WORTH going to. The cinematography is amazing. Acting is amazing and it's PACKED full of A-List actors.
  7. If you ever visit the Texoma area holler at me and I'll take you shooting at my range.
  8. And people don't use AK-47's or M16/M4's/etc for hunting. Reagan signed the bill that stopped production of machine guns other than by Class 3 (SOT) firearm dealers in 1986. We now have pre samples and post sample machine guns as a result. You won't find many actual AK-47's in the wild and people can't afford them... or M16/M4's. Those are actual "assault weapons". Not the current AK-style guns or AR-style guns. Not sure the point of the video? You posted a video of morons shooting overpowered rifles and shotguns... tweeted by some idiot who correlated that with the constitutional carry law Florida just enacted (which over half the country has). You still have to pass a background check to buy a firearm in Florida and if you want to carry, should be able to legally carry. A felon carrying a pistol in Florida is breaking the law... just as they were breaking the law a month ago.
  9. I've bought 3 new firearms myself over the past 4-6 weeks.
  10. I never thought she would get into Yale or Harvard, even though Yale did like 3 interviews with her. I really figured Michigan or UT would. I had someone say that "she heard" it was due to Covid. Kids taking a gap year, all coming back. They simply didn't have the room for out of state students. But she's taking 15-18 hours at Ole Miss and making straight A's. On the student council, Indian affairs council, etc. UT and Michigan missed out on a great student. I work as a school counselor (as well as a LPC outside school) but just started 2 years ago... and we administer ACT/SAT tests. I hate them. I feel, personally, that how you do over 4 years... extracurricular... volunteering... means more than one standardized test. I saw one kid who was a complete stoner... 2.1 GPA... make a 34 on his ACT and was offered scholarship after scholarship. He didn't care about school, but the colleges wanted him! (he's working as a cook for a local fast food restaurant).
  11. I have a question for you... my youngest daughter graduated from high school in Oklahoma in 2021. One of the best public HS's in the state. Her credentials... Top 10 in her class (finished 3rd out of 120 or so) 4.18 GPA 29 ACT Academic All-State cheerleader Member of the National Honor Society Established debate team at her high school FCCLA Class President Outside school, she established a foundation (Lauren's Lemonade Stand) when she was in the 4th grade and raised money every year to help wounded veterans. Managed to work with people like Miranda Lambert, raised THOUSANDS. Did this every year up to graduation. Member of the Chickasaw Nation (she has a CDIB card) She applied at Michigan... denied. Texas.... denied. University of Chicago... denied. Yale, Princeton, Cornell... all denied. Got into Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Ole Miss (where she is a 4.0 pre-law student). Why did she get rejected by so many? Was in just because of the the post-covid year? I was following a parent on a FB page where their kid spent his whole life wanting to get into Purdue. 4.2 GPA, 32 ACT, everything. Got rejected by Purdue. Still shocked my little one, who is technically a minority with such a strong academic record, got rejected to schools like Michigan and UT.
  12. Another black mass shooter... another trans mass shooter.... I should give up my AR-15's
  13. Now imagine this being the Nashville shooting or the Newtown shooting. Both had to shoot through a window at the doors to get in. If a staff member was armed, they would have both been dropped right away. But more guns is bad.
  14. Pistol Brace bill failed yesterday. Listening to the democrats on the Hill debate this... it's UNBELIEVABLE the amount of stupidity they have. They have absolutely NO understanding on firearms. None whatsoever. Someone like Dick Durbin should NEVER be allowed to vote on a gun bill. Ever. "Ammunition magazines strapped to a pistol makes it a fully automatic like an AK-47" - Durbin “If you've ever seen a gunman fire what looks like a machine gun with one hand, that's what pistol braces allow you to do" - Schumer “Put a pistol on a brace, and it…turns into a gun. Makes them where you can have a higher-caliber weapon – a higher-caliber bullet – coming out of that gun. It’s essentially turning it into a short-barreled rifle, which has been a weapon of choice by a number of mass shooters.” - Biden It p*sses me off that these people make the gun laws for our country.
  15. We agree on something. Get the guns out of the hands of gang members.
  16. If they stopped making guns today, we still have 400,000,000+ in the country. So again, lets go after all gangs like we should go after the Mexican cartels. Door to door and remove them and their firearms from society. That would reduce firearm deaths by 50% off the bat.
  17. I thought we were going after gangs? Where did that change to "flood the market"? Stand on point dude. Focus. Go take your adderall.
  18. Tell the democrat mayors to do it. Not my job. Besides, you're the one wanting to take away guns. Not me. Seems it should be YOU leading the way my man.
  19. How about this? Let's go into inner cities and go after those gangs who are selling drugs and causing the violent crimes... remove the firearms from all of those criminal rings. What do you think? And the cartels would like to thank Obama for the firearms he provided to them... as well as the Taliban thankful for Biden.
