  1. Cool, thanks for chiming in. I disagree 👍
  2. He's a solid QB. When he was here, I wasn't totally terrified (just 95%, instead of 100%) if Josh had to come out. Trubisky has some of similar traits as Josh.
  3. X is going crazy right now... Facebook and IG kicked out all their users and not allowing them (us) to log back in. Strange timing.
  4. That was a perfect storm game, literally. Your QB back and at 100% for the first time since the start of the year, weather sucked (which we didn't even have the right cleats for) and once we started turning the ball over... it was a snowball. UCF scores, Ollie fumbles on the first drive for OSU... UCF scores again. It's 14-0. We get the ball back? Interception. UCF drives half the field again, 21-0. It was over at that point. The team was down, OGIII was throwing a little fit and we got smoked. People who just look at the scoreboard really don't know how it played out. 3 turnovers by half. OSU wasn't ready... at all. Yea, UCF with their QB at 100% would have been a completely different team.
  5. OU and Texas are gone. Utah comes in, Arizona comes in... but the other school that ran the conference? Oklahoma State. History, that tells me why. Not just the fact I'm a fan/alum. HISTORY. OU has dominated the Big XII, despite being 2nd to OSU the past 3 years (we've been to two Big XII championships with OU going to zero)... but who's been the 2nd best team the past 15 years in the conference? It's not Texas, it's Oklahoma State. Ok State returns the nations best RB (OGIII), a 18th year senior QB who threw for 3,400 yards, the leading WR and 5/5 OL. We also return nearly all of our defense. Returning 80% of the team who reached the Big XII title game last year. Why not OSU? South Dakota State (H): WIN - not an easy win, but we will win by 14+ Arkansas (H): WIN - Again, not easy but we're at home and way better. I'm glad their series is back. Tulsa (A): WIN - nothing to add Utah (H): WIN - This game is about 60-40, but first time Utah playing in the Big XII coming to OSU. It will probably be a night game in Stillwater, which is a crazy place at night. K-State (A): ?? - Toss-up. K-State is always tough, but they lost their star QB. They also lost most of their offensive weapons. Still, it's KSU who is pesky. WVU (H): WIN - W. Virginia will be solid, but again... it's in Stillwater and we always beat them. BYU (A): ?? - Toss-up. OSU is better than BYU but on the road? Who knows. Baylor (A): WIN - nothing to add ASU (H): WIN - homecoming, Arizona State has a long way to go to be good again. Beat them on the road last year TCU (A): WIN - will be a tough game in Ft. Worth, good coaching staff. So it could go either way, but OSU 60-40 Texas Tech (H): WIN - we always beat the crap out of Tech Colorado (A): WIN - might be tough, not impressed with how CU finished the past 8-9 games OSU has a range of 12-0 (13-0 with Big XII title?) to 10-2 and the Big XII title game on the table. If OSU ends up 11-1, wins the Big XII... we will be one of the top 4 Conference Champions (IMO). If we lose, could swap places with Utah in the Playoffs because I think that's who will finish 2nd in conference. So that's why. How WOULDN'T it be Oklahoma State running the conference with OU and UT gone???
  6. Huh? Speaka-English? First off, I never said anything about not giving players money. I don't have an issue with that. Thing is, college kids ALREADY got money (and I'm not talking about their scholarships, which could be worth $500,000). Players got stipends, between $2500 to $5000. Not a ton, but it was something. Now my issue was with not being allowed to work. They should have been allowed to work. But now, they allow kids to get money. So there needs to be a cap on that number. Not unlimited amounts and they need to fix the damn portal. That's what's wrong with college football. The NIL isn't hurting Ohio State, Alabama, etc. It's hurting the Tulsa's, Texas Tech's, etc.
  7. Why not? Lets start arguing! (BYE TEAMS - highest ranked conference champions) 1. Ohio State 2. Texas 3. Clemson 4. Oklahoma State (AT LARGE) 5. Georgia 12. Notre Dame 6. Oregon 11. Michigan 7. Alabama 10. Penn State 8. Utah 9. Ole Miss Maybe's - West Virginia (my darkhorse) - Texas A&M - Mizzou - Arizona - LSU - Tennessee - FSU - Virginia (2nd darkhorse) - Kansas - Liberty
  8. NIL and the portal has changed/killed college football for a lot of us. It's no longer an amateur sport.
  9. More vehicles on the road cause more deaths. Seems to me... there are a lot of men of color who are shooting people. Maybe we need to ask why that is?
  10. White supremacists are to blame...
  11. 100% yes.
  12. Not exactly the same, but maybe more deeper to the heart than a NFL team... . I'm a 3rd generation Oklahoma State alumni. I have two biological children, both girls. I took them to OSU games all their lives, my oldest is an artist (vocal performer) and wasn't into sports. She got offered to attend Boston Conservatory at Berklee so I never expected her to attend Oklahoma State like my grandfather, my dad or myself. My youngest daughter though, bleed orange. When it came down to it, she didn't want to stay in state. She fell in love with Ole Miss and she's now a Junior. She is a huge Rebels fan... but she still loves the Cowboys. I just let go and let them find their own way. One wasn't going to go to OSU at all, her talent was too much for OSU. The other though, I figured she would be generation 4 to go to school there, but she wanted to find her own way. But when it comes down to it IMO... her heart is in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Let him find his own way. I bet you anything, his heart will still bleed blue.
  13. (Well, in my defense... I only threw my hat at the TV, lol)
  14. I'm worried my fiance won't marry me next month after seeing how I reacted to the end of the game last night.
  15. I hate Kansas City, I now hate Taylor Swift (never listened to her anyway, but I hate her now) and I hate myself for having her stupid music stuck in my head at times. That said, go zombie apocalypse.
  16. I'd go with Terrel... his sacks/pressure and TFL are so key for us. He's also the heart of the defense right now with Milano out. Rather have Bernard. Not even close IMO.
  17. Not the right numbers 112 tackles (best in 4 years), 69 solo 7 PD 4 INTs (career high) for 61 yards 1 TD 1 FF 1 FR 0 Sacks (never been who he is)
  18. The Titans had a brilliant trick play against the Jags that I've never seen before... flea-flicker SCREEN to the TE? It was genius.
  19. My review/humble pie/I was right/wrong 1. LSU 13 (12 off) 2. Michigan 1 (1 off) 3. tOSU 7 (6 off) 4. UGA 6 (2 off) 5. Alabama 4 (1 off) 6. Florida State 5 (1 off) 7. Clemson 22 (15 off) 8. USC NF (WAY TF OFF) 9. Utah 28 (19 off) 10. Washington 2 (8 off) 11. Tennessee 21 (10 off) 12. Oklahoma 12 (CORRECT) 13. Penn State 10 (3 off) 14. Oregon 8 (6 off) 15. TCU NR (WAY TF OFF) 16. Notre Dame 16 (CORRECT) 17. Oklahoma State 20 (3 off) 18. Baylor NR (WAY TF OFF) 19. Oregon State 19 (CORRECT) 20. UNC NR (WAY TF OFF) 21. Wisconsin NR (WAY TF OFF) 22. Tulane 26 (4 off) 23. Kansas State 25 (2 off) 24. UTSA NR (WAY TF OFF) 25. Texas 3 (22 off, way off) NOT IN MY PRESEASON TOP 25 9. Mizzou 11. Ole Miss (I don't know why I didn't rank them preseason, with my youngest going to school there and Dart returning... I should have ranked them top 20) 15. Zona 23. Liberty 24. SMU Not all that bad IMO. I had a few right on the money, I had a few way off.
  20. Well, you're wrong... and I was in the Army National Guard, so I'm good 👍
  21. Who all here will be going? Driving up from Southern Oklahoma with my (future) wife and my dad. I read that "Lot G" is where the KC Bills Backers meet up? But would like to meet some of you if possible!
  22. All I can reference is Georgia having a fit to beat a 6-6 Ga. Tech team. So..... 9 out of 10 times?
  23. Florida State 24 @ Florida 15 Clemson 16 @ S Carolina 7 Vanderbilt 20 @ Wake Forest 36 Kentucky 38 @ Louisville 31 Texas AM 33 @ Miami 48 Georgia 31 @ Ga Tech 23 - THE #1 TEAM IN THE NATION BARELY BEAT GT!!!!!!!!!! N Carolina 31 vs S Carolina 17 Ga Tech 23 @ Ole Miss 48 Florida State 45 vs LSU 24 Virginia 13 vs Tennessee 49 So, what does that make the SEC? Even more trash? Highest ranked team barely beat a .500 Ga Tech team. The next highest ranked team LOST to Florida State by two scores.
  24. Bill, I know you're a big Bama fan but come on. How good is the SEC? Really? New Mexico State destroyed a team you were LUCKY AF to beat. Florida State went out and played LSU on the road and won. They won at Florida with a backup QB. They did everything they were supposed to do. This is the CPF Committee and ESPN being in love with the SEC. Alabama was lucky to beat Auburn (Basically a hailmary). Auburn was embarrassed at home by freakin' New Mexico State.
  25. Florida State should have got in. Period. 13-0 in a Power 5. Alabama was a LUCKY 4th a 17th "Hail Mary" away from LOSING TO AUBURN. The team that got destroyed by New Mexico State.
