  1. Yes and knowing there are false accusations I don't see you just clamoring leave the innocent guy alone but let's wait for the facts to reveal which version of the events proves to be what actually occurred as much as can be proven in such a case. Facts will likely at least make one version more credible than the other then you go from there.
  2. No one's making excuses for some nobody pos. They are just stating a fact that's been reported. If she was lying to people at the party what was the reason she lied? Perfectly valid question to ask in such a situation. Her credibility also needs to be established as is anyone's if they want to make a declarative statement of a fact to me that has not yet been proven as true. In any situation that's a he said she said both parties need to have credibility established. I don't know if it would matter if she was telling people she was 18 and attending college. That's up to the laws in the jurisdiction the crime allegedly occurred in. Let the DA make their determination on whether charges are merited and if so to whom and what charge. You appear to have already determined that Araiza is guilty all without a trial. Please tell me you aren't of legal age to be summoned for jury duty. I prefer innocent until proven guilty for any criminal issues and the standards needed to prove a civil case need to be attained before a civil litigation is won. In either types of cases social media should have no bearing on the decisions of that proceeding.
  3. And any DNA results from the rape kit. I'd expect they did blood analysis as well to detect any rape drug that may have been in her system. I don't know the length if time traces of various drugs can be found but of course the lab techs that do these know the variables. All that info is what the DA will decide whether or not charges can be made. No evidence would mean no charges should be made if there is sufficient evidence then the matter should go to trial in a court of law and let the evidence sway the jury to a correct just verdict whichever way the evidence points. And I truly hope for whomever the innocent party is that the verdict is the correct one even if none but the people involved themselves know what actually took place. I'd have assumed a rape kit and the evidence it produces would be sufficiently evaluated by now to know whether a crime may have occurred as alleged. We need to hear something from the SDPD as to the status of the investigation and any conclusions they have made if any. I don't believe the Bills would have drafted Araiza if they knew he was accused of rape. Its not like he such an essential talent that they risk the negative PR. Really don't want this mess distracting the team but I also want the right people punished in this matter if it's the players if they did rape the girl. Or those trying to extort money from Araiza based on his notoriety and thinking it be easy pickings.
  4. And I can certainly understand a family wanting justice but why are they so worried about protecting their civilsuit filing deadlines. If the concern is for the daughter being raped putting out info for a civil suit isn't a good look to convince people they don't have some ulterior motives in this accusation. Anyone can make any accusation they can dream up it doesn't make it true just by making the accusation. It has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt for a criminal conviction. Even the way the lawyers are putting out info on social media it plays more as an attempt to extort money not one concerned with actual justice for a heinous crime if the accusation is true. At this point it gets to feel like these issues that pop up on social media are just planned and staged events to rile up a select demographic for some ulterior motives that will become clear but only when it's too late to stop and reset.
  5. No if she were raped than it's not her fault. However if she was telling ppl there she was 18 and attending college that is showing she's not being truthful in her statements accusing the players of rape. She claims she told Arsiza she a HS student then he gave her a drink which she suggests contained other intoxicants. Insinuating date rape type drugs. If those were used there would be detectable traces of it in blood analysis I'd imagine.
  6. It should also show up in her blood analysis from the rape kit if she had any such drug in her system. If the rape kit comes back with no DNA matches with any of the 3 players she named then that also would be a bit curious as if she were raped and I would not expect the men to be careful enough to avoid DNA transfers. If Araiza' s DNA isn't found then it is possible he was not involved in any way but the accusations don't look very good so I truly hope this case has DNA evidence that can absolute confirm Araiza had sex with the girl then I also hope there's enough evidence to get a conviction or at least a plea deal so if guilty they do face the punishments. I don't care s fig about Araizas football skills or if he loses his dream job playing in the NFL if he is guilty of these actions. Positive DNA would at the very least have him guilty of statutory rape. He was old enough to make correct choices about having sex with a young woman he didn't know and just met. He should be suspended pending the results of the criminal investigation then based on the results he should be punished or not by the NFL based on the results. So, I wsnt justice that will punishment whomever is the guilty party in this situation. If the victim was raped and the DNA can prove which men had sex with he they get to live in prison until their sentence is completed. If she is lying and just trying to make a money grab I would love it if facts and evidence proving that would surface in the investigation. This issue becomes a big old PR mess if there no physical supporting evidence and stays as a he said/she said type situation. And it's because thee issue is an important one. There are valid arguments on both sides of every story and whatever the facts show to be the correct result of these charges. If he is not charged criminally I do hope it is with clear evidence he was not involved in anyway. Otherwise it still leaves a stain on Araiza which would be unfair if he truly is just being targeted for an extortion attempt then I also hope that evidence proves that to be what happened and that the false accusations result in jail time on whatever charges exist for bringing false charges etc.
  7. Yea I got no problems if the Bills have to sign some other punter I don't see there being a big problem as we don't punt much in any event. Unless they were gonna move on from haack and planned to sign another vet when they found out about the civil lawsuit. Perhaps they decided they'd find another vet and just are allowing facts to come out. If he is guilty he's toast bye bye nfl career hello prison for however many years he is sentenced to. We don't know what evidence the police processed and the results of the rape kits. I don't even know exactly what evidence got collected. If this was always some setup to be a shakedown maybe none of the players the victim claims assaulted her have any DNA evidence show up in her rape kit. Doesn't prove she's lying but I'd find her account to be very suspect if no DNA from any of the 3 players she accuses is found in her rape kits. I'd expect there to be some additional DNA not ided if her account is accurate. And other people attending this party didn't notice a bleeding inebriated young girl stumbling out of the house? Will see what the facts tell us as they become available.
  8. And our offense will be keeping opposing offenses desperately trying to keep pace with Josh and Co. Good luck can be done but I'm not expecting it to occur with any frequency to be overly concerned. If adjustments need to be made I believe this team has the right coaches and players to make them and not have too many bumps.
  9. And he was apparently already 22 at the time of the alleged incident per the report. Certainly old enough to know better and not put yourself at risk with young girls. In fact at 22 in college being a star on the football team you'd think he'd be in a steady relationship with someone in the appropriate age group.
  10. I don't condone the assaults in prison either I just stated fact the likelihood of karmic justice if he did the alleged acts as its reported. I won't lose sleep over it as it is far down my list of things that deserve to be outraged over.
  11. Don't know if he's innocent or guilty. While I hope he is innocent if he is not than I got no problem seeing him sentenced to prison where his new roommates will demonstrate how the young women felt.
  12. Was a joint practice with another team so not a teammate. Using a helmet as a weapon has no excuse period.
  13. Maybe he won't appeal maybe he doesn't want to play against Allen. Allen isn't intimidated by Arnold but maybe Allen's in Arnold's head a bit after getting stiff armed to the turf by Allen. He's not used to be on the receiving end of player meet turf.
  14. I think gabes getting extra points for breaking a playoff record of td receptions in a playoff game. Get bonus points for performing in a high pressure game that's considered one of the best playoff games ever played.
  15. I watched the orlosky segment on OBL where he mentioned the Bills could start catching teams in certain defense packages and then do what he termed a NE-esque no huddle to take advantage of the defense on the field. This made me think why copy the cheaters variation of no huddle when we can just use the previous Bills Marchibroda edition where the other team knew what was coming but couldn't stop it. This was at times a heavy dose of Thurman Thomas, sometimes more on passing to Reed, Lofton Beebe. Most often it was a combination of the running/passing it just fluctuated based on the game flow. This made me start thinking. A little boy Kenny Dorsey out in CA is playing football and basketball. Big qb stars in NFL Kelly and Marino had some epic games as qbs in the early 90s when little Kenny was playing qb and developing his game. Was he always into the x's and o's at that time maybe a early Madden nerd that refined his tactics and learned strategy playing the early John madden games. The kmadden games certainly opened alot of kids minds to the x's and o's of football. Bills and the no huddle in the glory years had alot of madden gamers learning no huddle concepts just around the age a young Kenny would be getting madden for Xmas possibly. He plays collegiate at Miami where he rewrote schools record book and had a 38-2 record as the qb of the Hurricanes which no doubt had the attention and the approval of Hurricaine alumni Jim Kelly. Curious how much interaction they when Dorsey was leading the Hurricanes to national championship games. Winning one and losing another in dbl ot. I'm expecting we will see some new variation of a Buffalo Bills no huddle and it will be unstoppable with Josh's abilities to read the defenses he's facing pre and post snap. The players they are surrounding Josh with all seem to share that improvisational backyard football game moxie and that makes them so hard to defend cause they may know the play is gonna be a pass but they can't take away all Josh's targets. Daboll helped Josh most imo is at the x/o level in learning how to read defenses and what to counter with. He trusted Allen early with audibles as he showed an aptitude for it. The fact that Allen can process at a fast rate and then has the physical ability to make the throws with sufficient speed to negate defenders getting a play at breaking up a pass. If they do then he can just burn them next play and they won't know if it will be a speed guy that outrun the tired dbs or one of any of our receivers tes or rbs out of the backfield or JA scrambling and all can be equally effective. So while I'm glad daboll helped identify Allen's x/o ability and nurturing it, I think Dorsey will up Josh's game because he played the position at a high level though he didn't play long in the NFL but everyone wanted the next Brady..... the new goat was selected by the Bills and Dorsey gets to be his OC and they already have a solid working relationship is a bonus. They share many interests and competitive natures so they likely see the game quite similarly. If and when a new defensive mind figures out how to stop the Bills the Bills/Josh will be eager to scheme up a counter. I actually imagine Josh Allen will go down as the last great human qb as the game shifts to lifelike robots ala west world take the place of costly humans who age and get injured. Robot loses a limb they attach a new one.
  16. It's imo just that Josh is very gifted in the ability to figure out tactics to defeat a defense and then actually master those counters. And he has teammates who share his determination. You don't see many Bills give up on plays when they initially get stopped. They know Josh will be scrambling to give them time to get to open spaces. And they all seem to get fast chemistry with Josh. He can match the best throw type to his target based on how covered they are. He doesn't often lead his receivers into big collisions with incoming defenders. So he allows his weapons to shine and he shines brighter and is it any wonder our defense is gonna wanna just get the ball back for the offense so they can just watch great football from best seats in the house.
  17. Duke Johnson rb, on team atm nit Duke Williams wr, who went back to the CFL after not being re signed to the Bills. Different players with same first name.
  18. This is a pretty high hurdle for Allen. It's almost impossible to fix accuracy. Allen has a better chance of hurdling over Anthony Barr and we all know that's never gonna happen.
  19. I dunno 3rd rounder is pretty steep for a guy with Allen's accuracy issues.
  20. If Schoen wants to sign one of our cb cuts it's really smarter for Schoen to trade a low round pick to be sure to get that player. Waiting post cut the player is a fa can choose if they get multiple offers from nfl teams. No guarantee he signs with nyg.
  21. Plus all I see is a text message but nothing on screen showing who it was that sent it. Anyone with a Twitter could copy that text and claim they have to report for a random drug test and they aren't even in the league.
  22. P Add 4. ST plays have higher rates of collision injuries which is why there have been many rule changes trying to bring that rate down. Even with many of the at risk players likely to be cut anyway why add to the number of players that have injury claims before they wash out of league
  23. Well it is a good thing the Bills will score alot to give the KO team more practice to get better.
  24. The big difference here is in 2016 the Bills had less talent on the roster so it was easier for draftees to replace vets that underperformed. The rookies in this class have to try to Crack a solid lineup that has superbowl aspirations. So if the rookie shows enough to at least make the ps he has a chance to win a ring the first year in the league. All the rookies are gonna be trying to make the team while in the past there likely were rookies that only wanted to get tape out there to catch on elsewhere.
  25. I disagree with thinking Tasker doesn't put in the work. I am firmly in the opinion that the struggles we see with Task messing up names etc is more a result of how much the effects of constant hits to the head accumulated to cause memory problems as he gets older.
