  1. If I was Josh I would be very tempted to tell them where to shove it, if he's asked. Take a break and regroup.
  2. Exactly. Manning was a great QB but would anyone say he was on a par with Brady?
  3. Would be a logical move and would surely stop Dorsey from following Daboll too.
  4. Booked off work to watch the Super Bowl. Now contemplating cancelling the leave.
  5. What I mean is wouldn't he go as a replacement for Jackson (if injured) or Mahomes (if he makes the Super Bowl), as he's first in line to?
  6. Yet we had a nice schedule this year yet failed to make the number one seed. We saw the Chargers and Colts fall to the wayside in week 17 (both bad match ups for us), followed by the Packers and the Bucs. Everything was aligning for a run at the SB despite our poor performances in the regular season and yet, again, we failed to get over the line.
  7. Will Josh get called into the Pro Bowl if Jackson is still out injured? Isn't he first reserve?
  8. Of course they're going to say it, but with Mahomes around I'm not sure if Josh can be called the best quarterback in the NFL. Two SB appearances later and we can revisit it. (Yes, still irrational, yes, Mahomes probably has a better team around him... urgh. When will I stop taking every comment badly?)
  9. We're level with the Chiefs yet still managed to lose when it mattered.
  10. And Josh and Gabe are better than KC's defense. As Kelce said, it was all about the coin toss.
  11. I guess I like words from other fans in circumstances like this; I'm so low at the moment a bit of rationality from non-Bills fans is a bit of a tonic.
  12. Still irrational, still fuming about yesterday. I don't care about how it was a great game. I don't care Chiefs fans were coming up to Bills supporters afterwards giving credit. I don't care that media pundits have finally woken up to what a talent Josh Allen is. I don't care that we're getting positive comment after positive comment. Words are empty and mean nothing. Whether we lost i OT or blown out 42-0, it's the same outcome. I thought it'd I feel better by now. It's going to take a long long time to.
  13. A tub of lard? Going off yesterday, it'd have as much impact as Frazier!
  14. Hopefully the Bills will follow the same trajectory as the Chiefs did from 2018 to 2019.
  15. The trouble is it's nice to hear but it makes it worse. Yes, we were great at times, so what? We're still in the same place as 28 other teams - out. If we were blown out the end result would have been the same. At the moment the platitudes feel empty. @reroka - don't take people's reactions to heart and thank you evry much for your post. It just hurts, and hurts badly at the moment. It may take winning a SB for the feeling to completely ever go away (though obvious time will dull it).
  16. Great review but your final point is spot on. So we played in one of the best play off games ever? Who gives a ****?
  17. There's a video on YouTube where Kelce states he knew the team who won the OT coin toss would win the game.
  18. Yes. On the GDT I said kick it out for a touchback after our ST completely messed up a previous punt return from KC.
  19. Much appreciated but it hurts and, with our history, it feels like neutrals have far more faith in a possible SB win than we do (other than some optimists). 0-6 in one score games and to throw away a match with 13 seconds to go... we did not have Mahomes' number and that will continue to cost us moving forward.
  20. Here’s a hot take - Mahomes didn’t really play out of his skin yesterday. To put it bluntly, we actually made it very easy for him. He carved through our defense like a knife through butter but I don’t think he needed to bring his A Game to do so. There were three drives, IIRC, where we managed to stop him but otherwise too much blown coverage and easy downs. This isn’t a post about how he isn’t as good as Josh etc. as he clearly is, I just think we made life simple yesterday for him and that’s what hurts. The 13-second play was as much about horrific defense as it was superb offense.
  21. Possibly, though they have the Bengals and the Niners in their schedule too so depending out the season pans out, could be one of them. Will have to go some way to better yesterday’s match up though.
  22. You do realise, if they do change them, we’ll be taken to OT next year, score a touchdown on the opening drive and still find a way to lose it?
  23. Who do you replace him with - Fangio?
  24. If anyone hires Frasier after that then good luck to it. And I would like to see how Daboll copes without a world class QB.
