  1. From a selfish point of view if he had been jabbed he may have missed out on the testing and still been clear for Sunday, though I think the regulations are farcical. Hope he recovers quickly.
  2. Nothing to do with testing positives but will mean they’ll be tested less, providing they stay symptom free.
  3. Unvaccinated players tested daily, I think. Vaccinated players are picked randomly to be tested and symptomatic players are tested too.
  4. Not good news for us - not only could it affect their game against Steelers but also the following week against the Bengals. If we lose to the Pats we really need the Chiefs to win both.
  5. Think it’s because there is a greater likelihood is they’ll contract and spread Omnicron should they come into contact someone with it.
  6. If reverse jinxes work I'll keep doing them!
  7. Phew - that was too close for comfort!
  8. Oh sod off zebras.
  9. Renfrow is just as likely to fumble it.
  10. So how will Carr mess this up, then?
  11. That was one of the most boneheaded plays I have even seen. Dreadful decision making, awful throw. And this is why I would have felt more comfortable had the Pats beaten the Colts. I'll feel happier if we win at Foxborough, though.
  12. We shouldn't be in a position where we have to rely on other teams - not with our schedule. We fail to make the play offs, it's no one's fault but our own.
  13. The Raiders are dreadful - how have they won six?
  14. Can the Raiders not hold on to the ball?
  15. Thought that was good defense, to be fair.
  16. If the Jags can beat the Bills, the Texans beat the Titans and the Lions beat the Cardinals then anything can happen.
  17. The franchise medical team I presume? They're not going to want players with symptoms hanging out with the rest of the roster.
  18. Other than the Packers, Chiefs and the Colts (the latter two started slow) I haven't really been impressed with any of the teams this year.
  19. Carr did well to get the ball away but that was not DPI.
  20. Vaccinations don't prevent the disease, just the severity, and Omicron is more prevalent than Alpha or Delta. Not sure when the NFL is introducing the non-testing protocol for players who have been vaccinated; there are apparently 50+ players who tested positive today - are they all non-vaccinated, all showing symptoms or is the protocol not in place yet?
  21. 18 players absent, 8 of whom are starters they said just before the game began. 7-0 Raiders.
  22. It's only because Peter King mentioned it on the UK television coverage that I double checked it hadn't been mentioned then posted it; the NFL seem to have done a good job of slipping this out under the radar.
  23. Thanks - somehow misread the predictor!
  24. If scores go as suspected, the Ravens aren't really an issue for us - win or loss for the rest of the season. The Browns and Bengals are the bigger threats if we lose next week. ETA - I take it back; if they lose to the Rams as well then we can pip them.
  25. For purely this week, if the Ravens win then the Bills will stay as seventh seed if the Browns also win. If the Browns lose then the Bills drop to eighth.
