  1. I'd say he returned to Daboll's Allen for the most part, especially in the play offs, then the floor of Dorsey's Allen, who looked completely lost. Saying that, I think Josh was leading in TDs when Dorsey was sacked.
  2. Yes, because in the media's eyes he's earned it. He's got Super Bowl rings. He's been awarded the MVP. Josh has neither. Add that to the media running him down pre draft and it's a heady concoction. The Bills do not have a problem at QB. Worse QBs than Josh have won the Super Bowl. But year by year, fairly or unfairly, the 2017 draft looms large. What if... if only... Especially in the sliding doors scenario @Albany,n.y. brings up above. Personally, as talented as he is, I don't think Mahomes' personality would suit Buffalo. In comparison, Josh is a Bill through and through.
  3. The Bills are not lucky to have Josh if Mahomes is different altogether. It just means they screwed up the draft when they had the opportunity to pick the latter.
  4. I was being a bit sarcastic, as I know how Beane likes collecting draft picks. If a WR is there who would work for the Bills, he has to be taken.
  5. Have they got any left?
  6. Agreed. But why so much heat on Josh (not from you) for not making the throw yet little heat on Dawkins for allowing the pressure to happen? It's as though Josh gets all the criticism and everyone else on offense almost gets a pass. It feels like 2&9 has been mentioned more on here post match than the Diggs and Sherfield drops, for example. Or the missed FG.
  7. I'd prefer him to front up and speak to the media. Leaders take responsibility.
  8. The regular season win meant the game took place at Orchard Park rather than Arrowhead. I mean, not that it mattered but...
  9. The Chiefs offense miscued as well, including St Patrick. The difference is they were given other chances by the Bills defense, whilst the Chiefs defense tightened up once more.
  10. That's fair. I don't think Brady should be simply given the job because Josh wants him.
  11. Josh should be allowed an opinion but didn't he want Dorsey as well?
  12. If you come out of hole in exactly a year, the Bills would have just lost in the Divisional Round.
  13. The game wasn't lost on the relative qualities of the QB yesterday. It was lost on the fitness of the defenses.
  14. I know. It's a disaster. I don't know how they could have made such a mess of the QB position... (Why am I worried someone might take the above seriously?)
  15. Saw you post on here after I asked. I doubt any franchise will give what the Bills would ask for for Josh, so they'll have to run him back and see what happens.
  16. You still haven't answered my question in another thread about who you'd like to replace him with, and how the Bills can do it.
  17. From memory he's worked out/practised every summer but the last. And considering the utter mess last year was I couldn't blame him for that.
  18. He’s been a great teammate all season?
  19. It depends on expectation. In year one, year two even, yes, getting to the Divisional round would have been/is successful. I can appreciate considering the mess the Bills were in at 6-6 that winning the East and getting to the Divisional is quite the recovery. But, with the roster in place and the moves made in season to improve it, is further failure to at least get to the Championship game satisfactory? Guess that’s down to personal opinion.
  20. Teams 1-31 in the draft are all the same in one way - they haven’t won a Super Bowl. The Bills look no further forward now than they ever had and other franchises, such as the Texans, are starting to rapidly improve. Considering the QB at their disposal a showing of one Championship game (a loss) from six seasons is ridiculous.
  21. The Bills weren’t just missing Milano then - they were missing his replacement too.
  22. I really want him to go back to Palmer this off season. Work on being more of a pocket passer, on making plays when the O Line holds up and he has time to survey the field. No one’s perfect but if he can improve on that, he’d be as close to unstoppable as a QB can be.
  23. The gutting thing is how many times has Josh left the field with a lead? Even in his downtime this season he seemed to do it more often than not. Yet in the biggest game of the season, he couldn’t do it. Blame Jones. Congratulate Jones. Say Josh should have thrown to Diggs. But, albeit unreasonably, that’s what’s going to follow him around the off season. On the plus side, it’s a damnsight better than what he had swirling around him after the Bengals game this time last year. Edit - Or even blame Dawkins.
  24. Next year will be a waste with McDermott here. Then, if the Bills sack him at that point, 2025 will be the rebuild instead and another year wasted. The Bucs realised the die was cast with Dungy. Same with Reid at Philadelphia. Next year is going to be a rebuild of sorts anyway so may as well let a new HC oversee it. Even though I fully realise it won’t happen.
