  1. I think you're forgetting about this... The Fire were back in front in the third quarter after Henson hit Steven Harris for a 34-yard gain and Jacque Lewis fought his way into the endzone on a 7-yard run. Henson was quickly on target again to extend the lead when he hooked up with Washington Redskins receiver Harris down the middle of the field for a 35-yard touchdown. Final Score: Rhein Fire 21 Cologne Centurions 10.
  2. It's going to be Mahomes II. And the thing I like about him is that he was a baseball player. Baseball player Quarterbacks can make throws that robot Qb's can't. See Russell Wilson.
  3. Station Des Sports - Centre-Ville Ouest St Catherine St. West(south) side of downtown. Near my favorite dive bar in the world, the rooster n Bull pub.
  4. They were blowing the locomotive horn while the Steelers were in the huddle on first and second downs. I would think that that would be an Atlanta type noise violation. I can agree with the locomotive horn occasionally on BIG third down attempts, but all game all the time? come on man. I went to a Arizona Cardinals game last year and was thoroughly annoyed with the artificial noise and constant crowd shots etc. No one else seemed to mind but it drove me nuts. Unfortunately I think that's the future of sporting events.
  5. Gilmore is too physical when the ball is in the air. Not great at finding the ball and I don't think other teams fear him. Carolina went right after him with Benjamin and were for the most part successful. I expect by the end of the year he's going to be much better, but as of now he doesn't look elite to me.
  6. Tyroil Smoochie-Wallace, Javaris Jamar Javarison-Lamar, Dan Smith
  7. Bevell HC and OC, Schwartz DC and Assistant HC. I just want to go on record as to my preference.
  8. 6'7, 6'8 doesn't seem to be working. There must be at least a few 7'3" linemen floating around out there. Or maybe we should find ONE line coach who knows how to get this thing going.
  9. it'll be hackett when he continues to use the read-option with a non-running quarterback.
  10. If things go well I'll buy you a beer at the first home playoff game. I'm going to put the beer money in a five year CD, I'm sure I won't need it until then.
  11. How can I not root for him? Easy. To be on the field, barely move the chains. Miss open receivers on third down. Miss wide open receivers on near big plays. Not score touchdowns. And then say after the game 'I did good". "Coaches said I did good". Seriously? Give me a break. I want a winner, not this garbage. Or like what we saw last year. He'll throw a TD to Woods in the first quarter and the two of them laughing, jumping around and such, then lose the game by three scores. Manuel said he watched film of Brady in the offseason. Did he happen to see how Brady reacts when things aren't going well? That's what a good QB does. Doesn't accept sh*tty play by anyone. Have a nice day.
  12. The Bills have been drafting much higher than the Patriots every year for at least twelve years. The Bills should have superior players by far. Yet...
  13. The Bills have a head coach. offensive coordinator, QB coach. How many people do you want telling Manuel what to do? How about getting a QB that doesn't need all of this love and attention.
  14. I agree with those talking about the offensive line. I remember when the Bills were just getting good in the Kelly-Thomas-Reed days. The stars got all the accolades, but watching them week after week running the counter tre. House Ballard was great (Thurman would coast behind him with his hand on Ballard's back). Jim Ritcher, Hull and Wolford. THEY were a huge reason the Bills became a powerful team. You've got to have the big uglies getting it done up front.
  15. They're going to have to replace the batteries in Luke Kuechly's at halftime.
  16. I haven't seen EJ Manuel play football in nine months and I could have written that piece for you. (Thanks for the effort though). QBs can't change their mechanics. They throw the way they throw. EJ probably has too many flaws to ever highly succeed in the NFL. The Bills need to give Manuel about fifteen plays that he can execute well and leave it at that for a couple years. In the meantime keep looking for that franchise QB.
