  1. one of my annoyances.... ...
  2. winning would cure a lot of that
  3. for all those looking for a remedy...here you go... http://youtu.be/jZgJrHxWaIg
  4. we need laws to protect this kinds of things...just think of the financial impact of society now having to care for thousands of handicapable gophers...think of the children for goodness sakes and another thing...its minnesota in june, why aren't these gophers wearing snow boots to keep from getting frozen feet? But perhaps that's why they were so easy to catch
  5. that was brutal...but the others were very amusing to read...it's what makes rock & roll so good
  6. do hampsters or gerbils have issues with the gopher world? how about muskrats? woodchucks? http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/bizarre&id=9143405&rss=rss-ktrk-article-9143405
  7. pretty sure Paul turned 71 yesterday, he was born in 1942
  8. i soured on Rod Stewart when he did all those standards, I hate it when rockers go soft like that(ie phil collins). Heard a couple new tracks of Rod on Howard Stern a couple weeks ago and was very happy to hear the old Rod back
  9. bucket list for me...need to stop wanting to finally see him and just do it...not gonna have too many more opportunities
  10. oh my goodness would i be excited if this happens http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/the-insider/Dinosaur-Bar-B-Que-looking-at-Philly.html#RSR9Ish8F6UlAv5O.01
  11. Hey Bluefire, if i am not careful I am gonna start liking this 'electronica' stuff. granted you are probably more into the 'real' stuff where as i am getting into the more popular stuff. But I went and saw Postal Service last night and I really really enjoyed them, never thought it would be my type of music, but in the past year i have seen and thoroughly enjoyed bands like Skillrex, Django Django, Thomas Dolby and now Postal Service....it's pretty infectious music
  12. oddly enough, when you 'quote' someone's response it appears the formatting goes away
  13. out of curiosity i am responding to this to see how difficult it is to start a new paragraph. I did a double <enter> and hit the space bar 5 times to indent a new paragraph. I am soon going to post this response and see how it looks in the thread view. I want to see if there is anything tricky about creating new paragraphs. Forgive me for the rambling but I have never put any thought into how to format posts in paragraph form. Here goes, I am almost ready to hit post and then see how the post looks with <returns> and spaces as indents.
  14. Geazer & Ozzy were on Stern last week, i felt bad for Geazer as most of the interview turned into how Ozzy needs round the clock supervision to keep him from relapsing...i am not a black sabbath fan but i kind of enjoyed the new song
  15. DMB, like other bands are best seen from the lawn, so no one stays in their seats. The lawn is more of a social gathering than an actual show. Tonight I'm going to a show with lawn seats, Postal Service & Ra Ra Riot...I'm more concerned about the food and beverages for the cooler..
  16. It is for me...they keep returning my audition tapes
  17. And for this, we thank you! don't you have 364 days(363 if you count mothers day) to celebrate?
  18. Sláinte!
  19. i have an excellent understanding of the afterlife...in fact i have pictures (and yes i am messing with you)
  20. Like Kevin said, it was probably somebody deciding for them they don't sign things like that, I have to believe anything related to a library fund raiser, had it gotten directly to the intended parties would have been returned, probably with extra stuff. It's a shame, but when you are that big, you lose that personal touch.
  21. garlic scapes(?), vienna beans, zucchini, mushroom mix, cherries and a local hard cyser(Crabby Granny, made with crab apples and granny smiths) were my haul today....but before i went there, i put my pepper and tomatoes and herbs in 3 gallon containers...2 of each: Trinidad Moruga, Trinidad Moruga, Bhut Jolokia Ghost, 7-pot, and 1 each Nippon Taka and Wild Brazil...gonna be a scorching hot harvest....i hope!
