fingers crossed, been there done that! and for what it's worth, i read the thread of this title as this: not sure why i read it that way, but i did.

i am sure that anyone that is a Foo Fighters fan already knows about this, but in case someone is reading this and hasn't watched. The documentary "Sound City" is one the BEST music documentaries I have ever seen, and it isn't even about a musical act, it's about a soundboard. Grohl & Co, give the history of it, then he sets out to save this soundboard so it can continue to be used to record music. Pretty cool movie.

I haven't seen them live either...passed up the chance a couple weeks ago, simply because I had too many shows on my plate that i already committed to....i really think the Foos are EVERYTHING that is right about Rock & Roll and they are doing their damndest to keep it relevant. Dave Grohl is such a great ambassador and despite his unbelievable schedule he never seems to just mail it in.

have the new strips started? i have only seen the one so far, when i google it i get today's date but it shows me an 80's strip...where do i find the new strips? n/m, just found them on berkley breathed's facebook page, is that going to be the medium for it going forward?

i got a black friday panasonic 50" this year at best buy for $199.....i knew that a $199 tv wasn't necessarily the highest quality tv around...i spent the $20 for the extended warranty just to extend the life of the tv.
