that's what my son is doing while working full time at target, they have tuition reimbursement, i don't want him to be saddled with student loans and i certainly don't have the money to give him. couple classes at a time, figure out what works for him and then go from there.

i didn't buy into all of the Jordan Speith hype......until this weekend, I questioned his decision to play stateside last weekend, sure it was going to cause him to be a non-factor at the Open. One putt and he probably walks away with the trophy...the guy can play some serious golf.

i was always overly reactive to my kids crying in public places...i was mortified that my kids would be interfering with someones space, almost to a fault. That said, to eball's point, there are way too many parents that think public spaces are there for them and their parenting skills. parents letting their toddlers walk and push a cart in a crowded supermarket, allowing their cute little angels to decide what kind of donut from the rows and rows of choices while the line behind them builds. I raised 3 and I was uber mindful of my surroundings and not impeding everyone else's daily activities.

if cooking the pancakes wasn't the problem, why does she keep bringing it up as being a problem?

if you have a restaurant that has problems cooking 3 "full size" pancakes, perhaps you should evaluate your choice of business....i am sure both sides are using plenty of hyperbole, but why is 3 pancakes such an issue?

I heard Devo got tossed for fighting...had a bachelor party weekend in S. Jersey this weekend, otherwise would have gone to the games here in Philly.

He definitely got hit, probably within 2 minutes of me coming up on it...but i fully expected to see limbs kind of bent in ways they don't bend and blood, but nothing, he was on his side facing away from traffic, so who knows what happened. there was a news story on line about a 'pedestrian' being struck but they reported he survived. creepy nonetheless

i was driving back from lunch last week and as i am getting on the highway, i noticed something on the road, kinda looked like a body, and cars were pulled over...sure enough as i approached it was someone lying in the road, a major highway, appeared to have just happened. I decided not to take a picture simply out of respect. turns out the person survived but it was creepy and I am glad i didn't take the picture, not that it was revealing at all, actually looked like he was simply taking a nap on the road, except for the fact that his shoes were about 10 feet from his feet....

Sorry for an additional thread but this is about new shows not established ones. Jim Gaffigan Show and Impastor on TVLand and Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll on FX. I am a jim gaffigan fan and this show started great, almost a Louis feel without the edginess. Dennis Leary is great and his first episode was very good. Impastor has a lot of edge, especially for TVLand, enjoyed the first episode, hope it continues to improve

look, I get your point, I really do, and your views are yours and I will never tell you you are right or wrong how you feel, but to my point and i don't want this to come off as harsh, what does fighting cancer have to do with sports? Sure Lauren Hill played basketball while battling cancer, you won't get the slightest argument from me that she should have won the 'award', but whatever your view of what Jenner did, he/she is part of the sports world.
