Sure he can hang out with Toney.. the Chiefs get a lot right particularly with talent… but like the rest they miss some 🤷🏻♂️

Rumor: Bills trying aggressively to move up for a WR in round one
QLBillsFan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would be a bit surprised if they trade up significantly for Worthy. Odunze I can see and I’m all for. Worthy as an outside in the NFL may have some challenges with strength and getting free. Once he does watch out. Seems like a good kid as he just did a kids camp here in the Fresno area. But I would be mildly surprised if the Bills could not get him at 28. Of course that’s according to all the real and fake experts who are usually wrong 🤷🏻♂️😂 -
I’ll take Green Bay or SF Thanks Virgil!

Mark Andrews TE Ravens and a couple other lesser players currently in the NFL. I don’t mean to downplay the disease and a player certainly can be impacted during a game. But they and the staff will have a very manageable plan.

It’s not that the players he mocked to the Bills are bad. It’s about them being drafted way before their value. So the Bills would pass on Mitchell, Legette, and Franklin over Kneeland? Yikes. And it continued with other picks. Brutal value.

Will we be in Super Bowl contention this year?

Fair enough.. should be interesting how BB builds this over the next few months. Quick pan to Thursday night and BB trades back to take an OL or DT with pick 35 on Friday. We will all lose our … if that happens. -

By omission.. the data on Shakir in the 2nd half of the season was remarkable. Targets to catch % was #1. I missed the Giants as well. It’s fine if you think they are the 3rd worst WR room. And I’m not making anything up. The Bills will complete 390 passes to a wide variety of players. Some of whom will have the opportunity to make big plays in critical games when it counts. At that point it will be clear if the Bills sent Diggs packing one year too soon or not. -

Yes and score TDs.. must improve on that to be a serious threat. -

Sure so Cook and Kincaid are not top 10 at respective positions?? Possible he Shakir wont be but he was #1 in % of targets to catches with essentially a half season of snaps. Guys who are always open and catch the ball are a threat. But you could be right. The Bills don’t have a Dominant must contain pass receiver that is true. -

Please with the patronizing. As you whined early in this board. The Bills room has upside and you don’t agree. I don’t care man. Come back with your argument after the season is playing out. I know it’s shocking but they have a plan that you may not be aware of. And talent that is being developed. They are ahead of NE, AZ, CAR, LAC, similar to several other either old or w limited depth Titans, WA. You’re brilliant yes they need an outside WR. Then they will have Shakir, Samuel, new WR putting them in middle of pack. Add in TE, RB they have 5 viable candidates to catch the ball from a top 5 QB. Who can throw without concern as to who gets the ball. Simple response. -

I did not agree to that. I have said they need to add an outside WR. That’s your conclusion. I disagree based on the development of Shakir that you don’t see. I am not going to rank any WR room until rosters are set. That’s exactly what BB said. Again we can revisit in November and if the Bills a bottom 3 WR room I will agree with your assessment. Until then I will let it play out. -

So I answered the targets/catches. The WR room is fine. You give zero credence to Diggs attitude impacting targets and what’s best for the team. With an outside WR on the roster post draft and end of FA this group will be fine. Let’s have the WR room chat at mid season. I am confident Shakir is going to breakout. Your favorite buckeye Samuel will gadget effectively and the outside WR will provide room that Davis/Diggs didn’t in the deep game. The TE/RB are an important component of the overall passing game would you agree? Kincaid and Cook will be even more integral to the passing game as they are eligible. Will Diggs be missed in some ways? Sure. But this group including yet to be added outside WR will be good. And allow the Brady/Allen O to feature the open guy-not just one guy. We can agree to disagree. -
Diabetes is very manageable for elite athletes with world class athletic trainers. Yikes, numerous athletes are diabetic that you aren’t aware of. This should mean nothing to his draft position. I would be more concerned that he takes plays off if that is accurate.

Right and if all those things happened BB would be the best GM in NFL history. Hindsight is a great predictor. Several teams chose not to select JJ at WR after the Vikes Bills trade. Yes Ford wasn’t good but had he been then it’s a different story. BB has missed some for sure. But also hit on enough to be a top 10 GM.

I’m not particularly fired up at all. I in no way said the Bills don’t need another receiver. My point is they will either draft one fairly early or trade for one. In terms of catches assuming 390 this year vs 385 last year. Kincaid/Shakir 80, Samuel 60, rookie/fa 50, cook/knox 40, Hollins 20, TJ/Morris 10. That to me is not the 3rd worst WR room, but if you think so it’s fine. Diggs is gone and many of his targets were forced and put Josh in a difficult position. That is exactly how I see it you may differ. A “gadget guy”who catches 60 passes is fine with me. I’m glad you have in-depth knowledge of his capabilities. Obviously they are going to get a guy for the outside. Bolding is yelling so in fact you are fired up not me. Have a great day and let’s see what the Bills look like in the summer. -

Bottom 3 WR room in the NFL ? Based on you saying it ??? -

A gadget guy ? Seriously? Make a sound argument. Shakir and Kincaid will both catch 70-80. Samuel “ gadget guy” will get 60. And the WR via draft or trade will catch 50-60. JA is the QB who can throw the ball to any of 6-7 viable options with no diva bs. Addition by subtraction. Shakir is going to be outstanding this year. -
Lance Zierlein: Bills should draft 2 WR in the first 3 rounds
QLBillsFan replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m on the same page and we are in the minority for sure. Add in Cook and Knox and I’m not sure the 2nd WR gets enough targets. With real needs at edge, safety, cb, rb, ol depth I’m not sure that’s the best way to go. Unless the board just falls the Bills way and they can get Legette/Mitchell/ Pearsall for example. I think too many other needs and only so many targets. Does the 2nd WR get more snaps than Samuel or Shakir? I just don’t see it. -
Randy Mueller - maybe only ~150 draftable players this year
QLBillsFan replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes my bad correct 10 picks.. I think they probably pick 9 who all have a shot at making the roster. -

And every year players are drafted late that contribute to teams. In addition to FA that do the same. Josh and Lamar ended up home runs and the other 3 ..not so much (Baker has been decent) The Rams had it right on Nacua and nobody else did. So I would give that about zero thought. Having said that not sure 11 players make the Bills. Trade the super late picks and move up. Or keep them all and maybe 248 makes it 😂 who really knows!! -
Could be. But the Bills invested a first on him for some reason. They hope to recoup the upside of that decision. Makes no sense to dump him for nothing. New DB coach so we shall see. He’s made some plays in limited time he’s been on the field. He was also bad in the Jax game. They have him in the mix this year and I expect to see him on the field a fair amount. If he breaks out great. If not he’s depth. He literally has no value to anyone but the Bills.

I would have said the same until the Diggs trade. As above the $10M in June gives you some creativity before then. I would question the return we need to give. Pitt being ahead of us at 20 vs 28, and do the Bills want immediately to jump back into a massive contract at WR. Given the talent in this draft that’s the question. The value needed to give up is the issue. WR like every other position in the draft is 50/50. Aiyuk is a sure thing. Tough decisions for BB. But must assume he had a plan in advance of jettisoning Diggs.
