  1. We do not know that. We also brought in Clapp. It’s possible the Bills take JPJ at 28 but unlikely. Barton the G is more likely of C/G. Yet both are probably not either available or where the Bills go. But I think DE becomes a possibility if Chop is around or someone falls. BB has done enough in FA that some of these positions certainly are way more possible than we thought 🤷🏻‍♂️DE, WR, DT remain most likely.
  2. He will back up Oliver. Johnson at 310-315 backs up Jones. Williams was in a 3-4 5 tech DL position rushing in a contain position over the OT. The Bills DTs are more attack style. He’s 303 and has started 44 games over the past 4 years. Around 50% snaps. If he remains the 4 DT, he should get 30-35% snaps. Good fit. Remains to be seen if he and Johnson bring more as backups than the past few years. Certainly hope so!
  3. I have no misunderstanding. Zero is zero. It’s absolutely insane to have plays go well past that then create a big question . The league of course created this but it’s ridiculous. Get the play into the headset, qb call your reads, snap the ball.
  4. The rookies will cost 2-4M and BB said he had about 6-7$ M before DT Williams. The rookies can beat him out or not. With $10 M the Bills have plenty of $$ if they want another impact vet post draft like Floyd last year. I don’t think you’re an idiot but the Bills will have these vets and some rookies make the team. It’s a balance. 11 rookies are not making this roster because the Bills already have good backups. Now if they see an amazing DT at a value pick they will take him. If not they have a 4 man rotation set to go because BB wisely added these 2 “old” vets. Perhaps they will go after DE, WR, and S earlier than DT. But if they get Newton at 28 the DT it’s because he’s the best guy and not a reach. More likely they get DE or WR. But imho he is positioning the Bills to have a very good draft of 8-9 guys who have a great chance to make the team. WR, DE, S, CB, RB, OT, LB, DT, KR. One of each could make the Bills.
  5. These are veterans to add depth in areas of need. Jones clearly was a must resign and DTs have a decent shelf life. The Bills got younger at S and OL with the vet releases as difficult as that was. No 23-24 year olds on rookie contracts are available as depth, these guys are. Per the BB way he is going to have 3-4 need areas but this allows him to take the best player and not reach in the draft.
  6. Cole Bishop & Myles Cole 😂
  7. I have an opinion that the thread is not serious. I can have that and still debate. The intent wasn’t an attack, perhaps the word joke bothered you and that’s fair. Josh knows his body and his mind. Suggesting based on whatever evidence you provide that he doesn’t work hard is your opinion. It may be his body and mind need a break for some of the time. And I am assuming that he does work in the offseason in his way. He’s just not constantly looking for attention.Burn out is not healthy. And nobody has a more physical season at the QB position than JA. This board spends a lot of time on JA. He’s a top 3 QB with a defensive HC who blew a game his QB had dominated in. His playoff performances (Cincy being the exception) have been outstanding by any measure. Continue the thread but I’ll focus on the other areas of the team/organization that are holding the Bills back from a SB. JA not being one of them. Respect to the thread and I’ll keep attacking words out of my posts moving forward.
  8. Spot the heck on!! Why did they ever build in the round off error on play clock is ok? So annoying to watch this ridiculous late snap bs. They have a clock, when it hits 0 the whole stadium understands a flag is coming 🤷🏻‍♂️.. seems logical!
  9. Not a lot of options at DT. For whatever reason Settle never could get it going for the Bills, while Ford could not suit up on Sundays. Being a teammate of Jones and playing at the same spot should help him. Can’t really be worse than our depth last year at DT.
  10. He will back up Jones who came here and also did not play in the Bills system. The Bills attack and they played into Jones strengths as will it for Johnson. I trust both the Bills and Jones know more about how this guy can fit in than anyone. So now we need a backup for Oliver and 1 more depth and DT should be ok.
  11. Cap relief apparently???
  12. This is the year to trade back. The late first round value at wr and dl can be had in the second. Use other pics to move up later giving the Bills 3 players in the top 100. Then 5-6 from 140-200. This allows for a very good WR like Legette and 3 DL along with 2 S’s and OL depth.
  13. The TB12 method might have included things over than protein shakes 😂
  14. So it’s good they lost the best Cb in the nfl last year? Got ya, and the Bills overpaid for a top 5 slot cb at $10M… ok sure. Last year was the first year the KC D was good. What other corner do the Bills currently have on the roster who is overpaid? TW had injuries that killed his career. Now he’s gone. The Bills never paid two “ lock down “ corners. Your argument makes no sense. The Bills have cap challenges because the QB is rightfully paid at top 5 market value. And Von was overpaid and under healthy.
  15. Absolutely he was the most influential player on that D other than Jones. It frees up a ton of cap but this is good news for the Bills!
  16. Teams work out prospects so not against league rules as far as I know. They have 30 visits pre draft.
  17. He has Andy Reid is why it’s obvious 😂 Josh has done this multiple times.. you just always hear or see it
  18. Certainly possible.. BB got Floyd in June ish 🤷🏻‍♂️
  19. Wild generalizations about all 3 of these guys based on a documentary. It’s all speculation about JA because he purposely keeps it that way. That is all.
  20. TJ is a viable back up RB in the NFL. He showed that w multiple big plays per snap. Certainly need 1 vet and I in the draft but TJ could start a game or two just fine.
  21. Right! This thread is a joke. None of us know how hard he does or doesn’t work. Based on his performance, leadership, and toughness it appears he works very hard. And off season is just that-off season. Name a QB who gives more of his heart, soul, and body than Josh? You just don’t see him posting “work outs” all over social media. He needs more rest and to do other things in part of the offseason so that he’s sharp from preseason on. Both physically and mentally. I’m 💯 certain he works out plenty and that he also travels around and has some fun. Suggesting he can’t do both is ridiculous!
  22. Milano back and Douglas for full season. Floyd is a loss but I actually think by mid season this D assuming 3-4 rotational players drafted will be a top 10 D. If so with what the O should bring puts the Bills in the mix. They need to be healthy and peaking in the playoffs. If they get in, they will have a viable shot. KC is has a great HC and QB but has been blessed with minimal key injuries.AFC remains the power conference and the Bills will compete for supremacy.
  23. Totally agree ! I despise the typical KC fan but this would be such bs. Just a smug jack wagon silver spooned by his dad into power. Owner weasel unlike the legacy of his family which was class.
  24. I’m with you on this… just to create havoc what if Barton the Duke G is sitting at 28 and the WR are gone ? And we can’t find a partner to trade back ? Just saying our OL becomes better than ever ?? Not what I would expect the Bills to do but it’s not an impossible scenario.
