For this game I thought they were overall bad but each team benefited. It’s the inconsistency on a couple calls. Quick start and or lining up in the backfield by OT’s. Both Dawkins and the Cards RT push the limit on this. But the most frustrating is the holding on OL calls. Not the obviously FM that cost the Bills 4 points but in general. The Bills have a top 12-15 OL and it seems they get a significantly higher % of OL holding on run plays. Might just be a recency bias but that’s my biggest issue. The KC OL seems to have cart blanche on both of these. Ever since the opener last year when Reid went off about RT Taylor getting called on this.

Well, I would respectfully disagree. The coaches are being fairly critiqued. I think it’s not unreasonable to suggest the Bills could have called TO before the play Josh was rushed on. The very predictable calls on 2nd and 3. Some fairly suggested it had to do with Josh’s hand. That is very possible. But I think it’s not unreasonable to hold SM accountable for all of it because its his team. Having said that the team won and other threads have pointed out some very positive things from the game. This is about the 4th and 3 80% agree that was the right call. But how did we get there after 2nd and 3, that’s all. I would like to see SM better in close game decisions. That’s all 👍

Another poster suggested a time out when Josh seems hurried to beat the clock ⏰.. Josh owns that a bit but so does SM. Heck Andy Reid is so amazing he has his DC call TO’s 😆!!!

You are spot on!! 2nd 3 how about a play action safe roll out quick toss to te/ Josh run? The two calls to run with 10 in box was as if the FG puts the Bills up two scores. A first down essentially seals the game. Meanwhile both the ST and D were not playing exactly lights out. Immediately followed by a kick out of bounds and a short field. And possibly a break or two for the Bills. Certainly can’t say we coached that well. It just reinforces the question about our HC in tight game situations 🤷🏻‍♂️

No imho.. Davis is immediately the 2.. but I do think TJ is solid at 3.

It was pointed out that Gore could save $$$ for BB. But I see them as different skill sets.

I think Davis will get far more snaps I agree. But I do think TJ has a role. We shall see. You certainly could be right on the $$$ aspect of roster decisions.

Seems like Gore is immediately ahead of TJ on the depth chart on this thread? TJ has earned a spot on this roster and will hard to move out. Gore is a PS guy as TJ has a different element in his game.

He was used when Brady took over. I thought he added a nice dimension. I suspect he will have some specific plays in a game plan this year. I fully expect he is active with as stated Davis the short yardage guy. Good problem to have. I see Gore competing with Davis and likely on PS.

Wilkins is going to be missed big time!

Funny for KC you say one of 3 guys.. but the reverse argument for the Bills doesn’t work?? As if Rice is some amazing WR (suspension forthcoming).. Rice is good but Shakir/Samuel are not miles off .. Diggs is not the 2 in Houston?? That will be interesting to see if enough footballs to go around. The Bills WR will be fine simply because like PM and Rice Josh will create a good WR group. Oh without anyone demanding the ball and respect and attention and more $$$ and more attention and more respect…..

I hated the trade initially. Bills pick up a 3rd and KC gets a guy they would have had at 32. Smart national media have picked that up. It will be hammered home in a false narrative like MM does if Worthy is good. If Coleman is better BB won’t get credit for getting his guy and fleecing KC. By the way after playing at Texas the best facilities in college apparently Worthy was rather unimpressed with KC. They rank 31/32 in facilities and never miss on WRs 😂

Yeah but people here don’t like wasting a 4th round pick on a rb!!! A position of need for the Bills. Likely a third and short option an area the Bills need to improve. A guy who only had 20+ TDs.. what a waste!!! Not someone the Bills would have got at 128. What asset management are you taking about? The Bills have several roster needs. This guy fills a need position and will bring value on 3rd down. Marvin Harrison Jr was off the board.

Now that Denver has taken Franklin. Do we trade 128 and a 6th for Courtland Sutton?
