My only challenge is why you felt you had to trade up that high for your QB instead of targeting the 31/32 picks, give up less, and still get your 5th year option

I don't mind the player, but I mind giving up the 2nd and 3rd round pick. We've turned those into quality starters we still have other holes (not knowing what FA looks like). I'd rather stay put and get Higgens or Shenault plus a starting OLB and O-Lineman later. But, I trust Reed and his logic

Ruggs is only 6' though. Wasn't the whole point to get a big bodied, large catch radius receiver that Josh can throw jump balls to? I thought 6'2 or taller was going to be the minimum requirement

Shenault isn't as battle tested nor has the speed for me. I worry about WR's who haven't face quality talent expecting to figure it out against NFL DB's
