Buscaglia did mock Rousseau to the Bills last year so that is interesting. If the Bills want Breece Hall at 25 then they're probably not sweating one bit, nobody else is going to take him before us. Could realistically trade down a few spots and still get him, just need to stay ahead of the Jets and Falcons.

Wasn’t this the knock on Tre’davious White when the Bills drafted him? Sign me up for Gordon. I just want any CB at 25 though, don’t care who if I’m being honest, trust the scouts.

First time I saw him was at the combine and he really stood out with his size, and he was pretty smooth too. Would love to get him.

It’s not a slam dunk to draft a CB in round 1 but it seems like the correct move this year. Lots of good options that may be available at 25, Andrew Booth Jr or Kyler Gordon. I also agree that everything is on the table, how upset would Bills fans be if we drafted David Ojabo at 25? He’s likely going to miss all of 2022 but would have been a very high pick if not for the Achilles tear. That would be wild and I’d love to see the reactions.

Hmm where does Breece Hall fall? I’m going to guess the Bills don’t have a first round grade on him.

Player media availability 4/20 - Von Miller, Josh Allen
CapeBreton replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen pumping up Ridder for the draft, hope he goes higher than expected and I bet he will. -
It’s a No. I think Breece Hall is overrated and just a guy.

Not at 25, he can’t possibly be the BPA at that draft slot. He seems more like an early second rounder so we’d have to trade up to get him which also seems unlikely. Sitting at 57 and potentially taking Ken Walker looks better to me. Comparing Hall to last year’s RB’s, I think he’s below Najee, Etienne, and Javonte Williams.. not worth a first.

I’m OK with Breece Hall if it means we don’t draft Isaiah Spiller. Just say no to Spiller.

Listening to Greg Cosell today about 2022 draft class WRs
CapeBreton replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve been listening to plenty of Greg Cosell lately, Tape Heads is a great podcast. Anyways, there are two guys he really does not like, Drake London and Chris Olave, and I totally agree with him. They both seem way over ranked. He just doesn’t see it with London and more or less said that Olave plays way too soft. Hopefully they’re both gone anyways when we pick at 25. -
Gunner's 2022 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
CapeBreton replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great post, I agree with those grades but it’s crazy to think maybe 4 of those guys could go in the first round. If I was Detroit or Pittsburgh I’d just wait for the QB crop next year and get someone likely much better. -
isn’t it? I was under the impression that Haack was last in all punting categories.

Interview with AJ Highsmith - Bills Southern area scout
CapeBreton replied to CapeBreton's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oops i forgot to include the link, just added it, it's not with Matt Miller but I'm going to check that one out too. -
Came across this interview of AJ Highsmith who is a southern area scout for the Bills. It’s a really long interview from July 2021 (yes, I know it’s old but don’t think it was ever posted here) but there are some good scouting discussions that I found quite interesting. Here are some of the main things I got from it: 17:41 - while talking about safeties, he mentions they like multi-sport athletes and that the Bills DB coach likes guys who were former baseball players as it helps them with deep ball tracking 30:01 - talks about interviewing as many people as possible when looking into a player and taking their coach’s opinion on a player with a grain of salt because they’re almost always going to pump up their guys, these coaches look good when their guys get drafted. Said every report they got on Greg Rousseau was great and when they met him, everything matched up with what they heard and they really liked him. 32:43 - the way the draft fell, Rousseau and Basham were BPA, not necessarily targeting edge, just the way it fell, was happy to get Rousseau since he’s also a U of Miami guy, even though he later said he was hoping they’d take Elijah Moore. 34:00 - talks about why Carlos Basham may have fallen in the draft, thinks his versatility (doesn’t have a ‘home position’) could be considered a knock on him by other teams, Bills have been known to like guys with versatility though 37:03 - Highsmith was most excited about Spencer Brown and thought he fell because of some injury concerns. I wasn’t aware of his injury history but good to hear they’ll take guys that have had injury concerns, they have a lot of confidence in their medical staff. 44:29 AJ Highsmith says Elijah Moore was his 2021 draft crush and later praises the Jets for a solid draft 1:07:37 - discussion on smaller CBs, I thought this was quite interesting, he says he doesn’t knock guys too much if they’re smaller, as long as they are a good corner then they’re only going to lose a few times to bigger WRs in the run of the season. So it doesn’t sound like he would take a guy like Roger McCreary off his draft list because of his short arms for example, McCreary would be in his scouting area too.

If they pick him, then he’s definitely a McBeane CB. I’ll trust whatever they do but I’ll be disappointed if they don’t take CB round 1.

I've seen this guy ranked as the top TE in the draft by some analysts. He didn't test great but tape looks really good. Bills seem to be meeting with lots of TEs this year.
-
I would say the Bills don't draft guys with injury history but Josh Allen actually had some injuries in college. I can't think of any others though. Maybe we passed on DK Metcalf because of his injury history (neck issues)? Booth's injury concerns seem quite minor and would be a gift if he's available at 25.

Where can I find his picks from 2021? I want to see how he did but it's not on this site.

Am I the only one who hasn't completely given up on Zack Moss?
CapeBreton replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't care for Moss and he looks like a bust but I thought he was known for being a very good pass blocker? -
** Private Workout ** Tight End Trey McBride, Colorado State
CapeBreton replied to intimidatortj's topic in The Stadium Wall
If all the good WR are gone in the first round, I'd be OK with taking a receiving tight end in the 2nd. McBride is pretty awesome too.
