Agree 100%. I've yet to hear how the Bills D will be successful in containing the Bengals offense. What's the McD game plan? I don't think anyone is saying the Bills have "no shot." That's pretty ridiculous. No shot is much different than saying people think they will lose. What's your opinion on the game? Who do you think will win and why?

I'll be the first one to tell you I'm not always correct. I give my opinions based mostly on facts and what I think. Feel free to disagree with anything I say. I'm not here advocating I'm the smartest football fan or Bills backer. I've never made such a claim. Others are far more knowledge than myself. That's a major reason why I like this avenue. I'm constantly learning new things. With that said, I will continue to express my feelings and thoughts when it comes to the Bills. I fully realize many of my takes are in the minority because it's largely negative rather than positive. I do feel many posters here do agree to a certain extent with many of my posts. I don't seek validation. My objective isn't to create an Us vs Them atmosphere. Sure seems like some have that agenda. Frankly, I welcome feedback of all kinds as long as it's professional and not rude. The unfounded name calling continues with regularity. No biggie. I'm anything but a "woe is me" person. I'm pretty humble, compassionate, and pleasant to be around. It's fair to say I'm a frustrated Bills fan. I feel the regime should be doing better. Just so happens I'm very passionate about the Bills. I've wanted 50 plus years for a Lombardi Trophy. Sometimes the continued failure of the Bills regime gets the best of me. This season thus far amplifies the frustration. Sure seems like the Bills are regressing. That remains to be seen. I will continue to support my team by watching them, purchasing merchandise, praising, and criticizing then. The gambit if you will... Feel free to block or mute me.

I don't disagree with your take. The offense definitely had a different wrinkle in a good way. I'm just not so sure if that was a specific game plan for the Bucs and the Bills revert back to their more traditional offense, plays, and schemes. Remember, the Bucs are a pass funnel defense that blitzes at a very high rate. I have to give Dorsey and the offensive coaching staff lots of credit for a very good game plan. I just don't know how effective Gabe can be running slate routes. Teams will be paying more attention to Kincaid which could open up things for others. Can the offense be sustainable playing at that pace? Big test on Sunday night.

I'm here to discuss Bills football, express my opinions, and listen to others. I could care less about acceptance. If I cared about acceptance, I'd write something this: Bills will win a big game in Cincinnati. I think the team is ready to fire on all cylinders. Allen will make some unbelievable plays, play smart, use his legs, and spread the ball around. The Oline will open up holes for Cook and protect Allen enough. On defense, the Bills will bend but don't break. They will stiffen up in the red zone, make some big third down stops, and get a couple of timely huge turnovers. Bills 38 Bengals 24 You like that? Joe Marino has picked the Bengals to win and according to him he's getting a lot of backlash from Bills fans. Go figure...

No one was doing a comparison thing about pain or any other emotion. Strange response... Even stranger is talking about having an off switch. If that's the case I suggest maybe don't watch the games. You can always read about it. Is that what you mean by an off switch? Ridiculous... You are not lying... Or get the ball and go three and out. That will set the tone too.

Expectations change when you land one of the best QBs in the league. I think you are being too black and white here. One can be dissatisfied with the Bills players, coaches, and results. One can get upset, frustrated, and voice their displeasures as a fan. At same time, a person and fan can be happy with watching their favorite team and players play. It's not one or another. They can and are interchangeable. Bitching, booing, and whining is every part of being a fan as is cheering, yelling, and clapping.

A happy balance is best. Winning does make it a lot more enjoyable and less frustrating to watch.

Agree no need to apologize. We all want the Bills to win no matter what we think the outcome will be. Critic, optimist, or pessimist it doesn't change what the desired outcome is. Let's go Bills.

Agree but I think it's mor😀 than fair to say the Bills D isn't great either. I'm not sure it's even good. Tyrod marched down the field for the win. Thank you refs. Mac Jones looked like an all pro. Several teams have had success running the ball, they still have too many missed tackles, and pass rush is inconsistent. The injuries to the D are clearly felt and an understatement. Burrow is by far the best QB the Bills have faced. He seems healthy and the Bengal offense has had it's way with Buffalo. Granted a small sample size. I'm really not sure how we can be even remotely confident this current D can slow down their offense. Frankly, I don't think the Bills have the personell to be effective.Maybe I'm wrong here. The Bills offense needs to explode this game. Play flawless, loose, confident, and execute. They will need to put up 35 plus to win. It's possible but I don't feel great about it. I see a frenzied crowd and Allen being constantly pressured. Spencer Brown will be exposed. I see a Bengal offense who gets chunk plays and makes big third down plays. The Bills will be resilient. They won't fold easily. Allen will make some big plays.

I agree. The Bengals are a very bad match up for the Bills. I mean last year their oline was missing 3 starters and the Bills pass rush was still ineffective. They couldn't stop the run or pass. I'm not convinced this defense is any better now. Maybe it's worse? They almost got beat by Tyrod and Mac Jones did what he did. Burrow isn't Baker or Tua.

I concur 100%. I suspect you are talking about all the negativity. However, it cuts both ways here. For example, look at when the Bills acquired Beasley and ZBrien last year. Many and I mean many were taunting how they would be difference makers. Just look at every draft pick made. Many and I mean many think the picks are fantastic. Yes, the negativity is bad here but the homerism is equally out of control. That's the beauty of this forum. However, too many people take exception to others opinions because it doesn't fit their narrative. I mean I get the troll accusations often for my negativity. It is what it is...

I'm not sure. I suppose it depends on who is available. It's really beyond my level of expertise. Others here probably can answer this question. I just know as a fan the McD era has run it's course. I think the Bills miss the playoffs if they lose this game. Of course on paper that's not true. Being 5-4 with their schedule and their AFC losses makes it an extremely difficult task. If course, we fans won't give up hope. Realistically, it's a pretty big dagger in the playoffs hopes.

You are entitled to your opinion. I vastly disagree with your take. I feel that you are settling for goodness but not greatness. That's not my mentality. As a fan with an elite QB, I want the Bills to at least win an AFC championship game, make a SB appearance, and win the SB. I don't think this is an unrealistic goal. The Bills have failed to do the above repeatedly. I cannot accept the KC rational as an excuse. That's just unacceptable as a fan. As time passes it becomes more clear that McD isn't the guy to led this team past KC or Cincinnati. In fact teams like the Jags, Balt, and Miami may have overtaken the Bills. At the very least the gap has drastically closed. Not sure how any Bills fans can see it any other way. No doubt Bills football has been much better to watch. The playoff run has been great. However, I suggest that this shouldn't clout your judgement on McD and the goal of the team. The goal for years now hasn't been just make the playoffs. I strongly disagree that it isn't McD fault. Then the following year his team was unprepared to play the Bengals. Despite all the circumstances it's the coaches responsibility to have his team ready. It's the coaches responsibility to have a great game plan. It's the coaches responsibility to make solid in game adjustments. We saw none of this. Zero! Zilch! Nada! How you discredit, dismiss, and fail to see this is baffling. This fan is tired of watching a head coach squander opportunities to advance this team to a SB. It's clear as day this coach has repeatedly failed. This year is shaping up to be even a bigger failure because a playoff birth is in serious doubt. I suspect you will defend McD and say something like McD has been great. Look at the six years of playoff appearances. Sure beats the past. That falls very short here... Well said. I agree with your response. I'd be surprised if McD zone defense can stop the Bengals from scoring a minimum of 30 points. I'd be shocked if Dorsey can outmaneuver all the wrinkles of Lou's defense. The Bills have always focused on beating the Chiefs. The roster is built accordingly. They have had good success vs them in the regular season. Poor success in the playoffs when it really counts. Typical of a McD team. The Bengals offense is just too much for the Bills. The Bills zone defense cannot stop the west coast offense led by an elite Burrow QB. Add in that Mixon an average runner and poor running team usually has a very nice game vs Buffalo. This team isn't built to beat Cinci. Couple all of this with no Jones, Tre, Milano, Knox, and a crippled Von. Oh it counts but nothing counts more than playoff wins, super bowl appearances, and Lombardi Trophies. In case you've been living underground McD has pretty sucked in the above. A whooping 44% win percentage in the playoffs, one AFC championship game which he lost, and ZERO super bowl appearances. I'm tired of the "reductive trope" of fans accepting good to great regular season victories with very little afterwards.

It's pretty easy to cherry pick some regular season wins over a six year period of time. The statement wasn't meant to be taken literally. More of a general statement and thesis especially in the post season. I think the consensus around the football world is McD can't get it done. Similar to the Chargers always blowing it.
