11/2/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Chiefs 4:30pm Post Game Thread

Chargers losing their next 2 before the bye kinda has some benefits too at least. Keeps the Steelers ahead of the ravens and if Baltimore and kc both get forced into the wildcard race I don’t think both can make it chargers game in two weeks is Jax who is putting pressure on kc in the wildcard race. Of course if Denver fumbles too that opens the division back up for kc though and maybe no one else steps up for the wildcard if you knock the chargers back a few games -

He woulda had all day to throw if karlaftis didn’t beat brown so bad lol they basically got pressure with a one man rush there 😂 -

This was a way bigger game for the chiefs than the bills for this specific season. If you’re saying the chiefs performing well doesn’t matter as much cuz they’ve won superbowls recently I can definitely get behind that though chiefs are kinda on the outside looking in of everything now. Feels like they’re behind in tiebreakers with everyone that matters and they don’t have too many sure wins on their schedule looks like it’s just ten and LV. The Baltimore tiebreaker could be huge for them at least knowing Baltimore is probably gonna go on a run bills would’ve been ok at 5-3 as far as wildcard goes I would think. I think bengals browns jets dolphins wins would’ve been pretty safe and put them at 9-3 (7-2 in conference) then you just need 1 or 2 of the remaining 5 games against pit,Houston,tb,Philly,NE -
Douglas was a fantastic trade for the year we got him. He’s playing good for Miami this year too gotta think he was hurt or something last year. The cooper trade didn’t end up looking flashy statistically but the offense did improve a lot when he got added. Hynes was def a bust bet getting hit by a jet ski or whatever the heck happened to him in the offseason that one year definitely didn’t help 😂

It was a huge weekend honestly…it’ll get overshadowed by the chiefs but the Steelers beating the colts was big too. 1 seed is back to a bit of a tossup and if the Steelers hold on to the afc north (which doesn’t seem impossible now) I don’t think there’s room for both the chiefs and ravens in the playoff picture even if they both go on runs -
You’re probably right but he’s probably out after next year when the saints are in rebuild mode still either way so it wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world I still feel like they’re possibly trying to drive the price up saying that they’re not trading him but I could definitely be wrong He’s traded for a player midseason three straight years to be fair lol

Game week thread - Bills at Dolphins

Another important one for sure…can’t take your foot off the gas. Division record could be a big deal and winning this one puts a little bit of pressure on NE to deliver on their division games since they’ve only played 2 -
Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to BullBuchanan's topic in The Stadium Wall
This matchup not playing to our weaknesses was completely intentional for the record lol. The team is molded to do exactly what it did today to the chiefs. We’ve had not much of a pass catching threat from the outside WRs for two consecutive seasons now and despite that have the 3 highest offensive point totals against the chiefs among afc teams in that time. (3 of the 4 if you’re counting the total nfl) jags did score 31 but there was a pick 6 in that one -

The bills DEs have looked pretty good to me all year…there’s just been so many coverage issues early that really no amount of quick pressure really mattered -

He really never does…even in those superbowls where they were getting manhandled -

Such a wild week i really thought the chiefs might be in play for the 1 seed if they won the bills game but this loss on top of the 3 they already had feels very significant they’ve gotta worry about falling too far behind Denver head to head and the chargers are 3-0 in the division already and are at worst splitting with the chiefs which is a pretty strong tiebreaker position right now mahomes is gonna get knocked out of his usual ‘save some gas in the tank/limit taking hits for the playoffs’ routine at minimum -
I don’t think the offense was perfect and Palmer despite being a good not great player was a big loss imo i wouldn’t put it on Josh but that bullet to a wide open hawes that went incomplete definitely hurt just as one example. Missed the recognition on a few blitzes also not sure if that was a qb or oline thing

Around the NFL - November 2 - Other games

It is underratedly hard to outrace parity…some of these teams that overachieve one year just kinda get crushed by the harder schedules/worst draft picks etc -

They were kinda lucky to sneak by the dolphins week 3 too but I didn’t even know to be upset about that at the time haha achane had a toe out of bounds on a late go ahead td run -

Bills are in good division shape assuming they win the pats rematch… lot of pressure on that game though. the win over the chiefs was huge since the pats are still behind by a conference loss and have the ravens on the schedule. the bills real tough afc matchups are pretty much done but there’s some sneaky ones -

Silver lining on if the bills lose the division would be if kc ended up going out to NE in the wildcard round haha what a crazy situation that would be imagine winning the division and your reward is a first round game against Buffalo,Baltimore,or KC 😂 -
Did losing to the Falcons save the Bills season?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems like we got even heavier personnel-wise after that falcons game. I gotta think they were kicking themselves for not trying to run Atlanta straight out of the building. Falcons defense is kind of a chiefs-lite vibe where they’re good in pass coverage and like to send blitzes. defensive improvements seem like they speak for themselves also on top of that haha Hairston definitely looks like he’s got the juice -
Was that one of the plays where there were alignment/communication issues? It’s all a blur lol. Not that he hasn’t called a timeout to draw something up that didn’t work before though anyway 😂

I’ve never even done a Madden franchise without a salary cap 😂

Someone else got hammered while still in bounds dancing their way to the sideline earlier today too I’m tryin to remember who it was 😂 Bryce young I think refs threw the flag then picked it up in that other game I’m pretty sure -
Josh Allen completely outplayed Mahomes
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just posted it in another post but the chiefs have lost like 4 total regular season 2+ score games in mahomes’ 7.5 year career and 2 of them were to Buffalo 😂 non Buffalo teams have done it like twice out of 110+ tries. If you want to add playoffs it goes up by 2 but the game total goes up by 20+ also -
Nothing that close to the bills losing virtually their entire linebacker room a couple years ago and being forced to get essentially a retired vet to cancel his Disney vacation to fill in has happened to the chiefs in the playoffs. Not even sure it’s debatable. Of course that’s just one of the four times though lol benford/rapp getting hurt this past year forcing in absolute clowns was a very bad break and had a huge impact on the game but that’s gotta be a bit of a depth issue too. Losing two DBs definitely shouldn’t cause that big of a falloff. Of course you can’t have great depth everywhere either though so there is a bit of luck involved
