Can’t say I know for sure as I really haven’t seen him much 😂. but I think you gotta be a pretty good or better run blocker to see the field consistently in this current Buffalo offense and my guess is Curtis Samuel probably isn’t even decent in that area. Maybe they thought they could coach him up to good enough and it just didn’t work out injuries for sure haven’t helped but his opportunities will probably be limited unless he starts hitting some big plays when he does get snaps im starting to get the feeling maybe we are in on Deebo after typing this haha

Waddle is probably the only wr I’d send a ton of trade resources for….wouldnt hate that overpay at all. Would probably take a ton to get him from a division rival though

1.5 mil yearly base on a 1 year deal then he’s a free agent in regards to your first point so that one is not an issue. He’s actually super cheap for a one year rental I think his contract has void years and that’s where the cash figure is coming from. Other two are fair enough points though I can see that.

When you’re the seller with no real desire to move him lol it’d have to be an ‘offer they can’t refuse’ type thing because they’re fine keeping him

He’s an interesting fit I know people want burner speed but someone capable that can get open in the intermediate areas would be an upgrade too. Good run blocker also. I’d be a little concerned with injury type stuff

My gut is they’re keeping BTJ (unless he’s violently unhappy behind the scenes lol) but to be fair this is exactly what I’d say if I was trying to keep a bidding war for him going

They could use solid depth at wr too so I think even a meyers level player moves the needle some. I get what you’re saying though for sure I do think Moore is physically skilled and should improve some with more snaps but things are pretty grim should Palmer go down again lol

Worthy reaching critical levels of overhyped in the media has me irrationally worried about beane trading for a wr haha although I doubt GMs pay any attention to skill position player hype like that 😂 really don’t know what I’m missing with worthy it just baffles me every week…one guy is slow with a mediocre OC and one guy is fast with the best offensive play caller of all time but worthy and coleman have pretty much the same in season production. I really don’t think either guy will work out to be a long term starter tbh. Worthy has lower career receiving yards per game than Coleman and Palmer have had in this bills offense…pretty wild stat

I haven’t read through the rest yet but to be fair to mcd in that Texans game, Josh had a comically wide open guy and straight up missed him.. 3 quick runs and a punt probably would’ve left the Texans with enough time to get a crack at a fg anyway they had all 3 timeouts. Martin ended up hitting a phenomenal punt from his own end zone which made it seem a bit more controversial than it really was…there was a very good chance Texans would take over in immediate fg range when mcd was weighing how to handle his offensive drive so much of coaching criticisms are just hindsight nitpicking.. you really gotta try to objectively think about how you would’ve felt if the bills ran three straight times, got stuffed, and then lost the game to truly evaluate how bad the decision was. I think everyone would’ve flamed mcd if that happened also

It could have a little to do with Pacheco getting back in the swing of things after his injury last season if we’re talkin long term. he hasn’t looked any better than Kareem hunt in the short term to me though

Just getting Day would work with what we’ve got now but idk how much the wr wanting crowd(which is like everyone) would like that 😁 there def could be another restructure they’re ironing out and it could be multiple trades for sure though

Meyers is a solid player that has contributed with garbage qbs and garbage surrounding talent lol I could see him turning some heads if a non garbage team gave him a shot 😂 was probably on his way to another 800 ish receiving yard season with another terrible qb/oline/running game/surrounding talent type situation. Bowers is great but he missed a decent chunk of the season don’t think he’s a bills target but maybe someone new ends up with him

You have a short memory, friend lol. Last year he was very bad but the year before he was great…not really sure what happened to him. He’s had a pretty nice bounce back in Miami. Hasn’t really reached the highs of two years ago but he has been much better than last year

You’re only on the hook for what’s remaining of the base salary as the new team, the total cap hit includes bonuses paid out already. Assuming my understanding is correct 😂. The contract stuff is a little funky

I mean I can’t say I know the future but I’m not sure what’s so surprising about that haha the guy has a modest remaining contract and he’s a good player on a 1-8 team that’s a free agent after next year anyway. Wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world if the saints decided they weren’t gonna extend him and wanted to maximize trade value I think playing more games in that offense with a rookie qb is just gonna tank his value

This argument still fills me with rage haha. This year they absolutely needed a win to keep pace with Denver/lac, last year a win would’ve likely resulted in an undefeated regular season, the year before that the chiefs had a real chance to prevent the bills from making the playoffs. all three of those were massive games that they were 100% trying to win

Yea I sincerely doubt it’s waddle but the way this year is shaking out I think there’s a nonzero chance the bills way overpay for someone haha still very very low odds though I think if beane traded for Von midseason the year before we got him in free agency we probably win the Super Bowl that year. Thats gotta be haunting him to some degree 😂

Totally forgot waddle’s base salary was that low and he’s still on the end of a rookie deal…that just blew my mind haha I doubt it’s him but the numbers actually do work out which means people can hold onto their hopes a little longer 😂

Probably depends on what you define as ‘big swing’…no idea what it is but someone like shaheed is only owed 2 million ish for the rest of the season also the bills could be restructuring others too and we just haven’t heard yet

Feels like it’s goin on league wide, I think the changes to offseason rules to help player safety has ended up hurting player safety lol
