I mean a guy was dragging him to the ground by his jersey on that final play in regulation lol The more I watch it the more I feel the same way lol the handfighting was fine but then Davis falls and tries to take diggs with him by the jersey

I just don’t buy this…he gets dinged for playing his @ss off and getting his team close?

I can’t think of any times we had 1st and goal on the 1 and couldn’t punch it in…1st and goal on the 10 and bad red zone playcalling resulting in a stuffed 4th and short sure

As much as I normally defend the refs by saying they suck for both teams it really seems like you are correct lol I think NE is a good fundamental football team and they haven’t needed the help yet but they certainly seemed to be leaning hard TBs way today perhaps to keep them in the drivers seat for the 1 seed…1 seed will be huge in the nfc

Yea the fake is kind of a separate thing…I wouldn’t call it scared it’s still a gutsy call but he was scared if his offense for sure

Yea I’d say it’s still wrong…offense just got super hot at the right time and scored insanely fast. We would’ve had to force a quick 3 and out and gotten the ball back in good field position for that punt to be worth it

Yea I didn’t see the postgame but the refs may have bailed him out…that punt was still a terrible decision despite them still having a shot to win

It was pretty much the same level as that rams saints playoff game a few years ago imo…just wasn’t a playoff game so it won’t get the same exposure. Huge mismatch with Davis on diggs and he lost the battle and had to try to take diggs to the ground to prevent the td

There’s no moral victories but tonight felt like a win in my eyes if we’re strictly talking about ability to beat good teams in the playoffs

I would say this was just the refs trying to let them play down the stretch and they made the wrong decision but the bucs were holding all day

It’s never a tossup when you grab the jersey either…idk how but they must’ve missed the jersey pull in all 3 cases lol Davis did an ok job faking that they tangled feet but if the ref was actually paying attention there’s no way that’s not dpi They’ve gotta get TB and NE those buy weeks

They were holding all game lol people are talking about it like it was one or two calls that could’ve gone either way…how do you overcome all of your receivers being held all game when your team isn’t allowed to hold their guys 😂

Exactly how I saw it lol the handfighting is what people are focusing on which is a tossup but 24 fell and legit tackled diggs lol absolutely egregious especially given he knew he committed the game losing pi and he threw his hands up in a desperate attempt to avoid the call haha

Yea there was one called qb after the injury where I was scratching my head…I’m sure he was telling coaches he was fine he’s a tough sob

Getting a fair shake against a Tom Brady led team does seem like a miracle in general 😂 if it was just that late no call it wouldn’t bother me but every call seems to go his teams way for decades lol there were quite a few eyebrow raising calls in the first half as well…got that nice ticky tacky pi to beat the packers in the playoffs last year and then we all saw what happened in the super bowl

I just don’t understand that…you’re playing the super bowl champs on the road and they’re allowed to hold your star receiver up and down the field and your answer is ‘play even better’ lol they weren’t hoping for pass interference to win the game like what…their star receiver frequently had a one on one matchup and he was frequently held. I am not a frequent complainer about the refs this is the first time for me…normally the refs are terrible but they’re terrible for both teams

Lol what does this prove…so you can just hold a teams star receiver in big moments because they should be winning by more than 7 and that score shouldn’t matter? 😂

The grab spun him a little bit it looked like and he lost the ball in the air Even if they’re all borderline and they all go one teams way…that is an issue. Not that these were borderline 😂
