  1. There seems to be a weird arrogance about the Everybody Eats thing… like, no matter what works we have to keep switching guys out and running different plays to prove how nobody is above the scheme. Instead of like, I don’t know, letting your best players play except when they need rest?
  2. It's radical but I would replace Brady and take playcalling away from Babich. Second half D looked better under McD, just stick with that. Offense is poorly coached, and just plain stupid. No passes to Cook and Ty on the field for fourth down? End arounds on short yardage? Brady has been figured out. And he doesn't seem to be quick enough at adapting to match wits with the better defensive coaches in the NFL.
  3. Josh is by my eye playing as well as ever this year. I believe that with better offensive coaching this could be the number 1 offense in football. Cook all day and on third and fourth downs. Do not sit him for Ty Johnson on any important down. More blitz beaters and players taught to recognize the blitz and adjust their routes. Decent playbook for must have plays, rather than the crap we've been running. Never run end arounds on short yardage. Execute good screens without holding (all well-coached teams can do this). Playcalling with Rhythm, that keeps defenses guessing, instead of arrogant repetition.
  4. Our defense played well in the 2nd half. If that was due to McD calling the plays, then the solution is clear...
  5. Four more losses like this and I think McD and Beane are in danger
  6. He looks like he doesn't have much hope we can succeed with this team and coaches.
  7. We don't deserve to win this game
  8. Turns out the number 3 and 4 receivers from the Jets and the Chargers aren't actually that good. We have Cook, who is, and we don't use him. It's mind-blowing.
  9. And now we decide to drop back without Cook on the field. Brain dead.
  10. Ty didn't turn around in time, our receivers are not helping Josh at ALL on the blitzes
  11. Could be. We certainly don't seem to be able to scheme our guys open very often!
  12. This post cracked me tha Eff up. Seriously though, I wish we would play the young guys who still have speed and quickness, let them develop. They can learn the mental game, the old vets can't learn being twitchy again.
  13. Stats aside, when Worthy is playing KC’s offense looks different. Much more explosive—he seems to open the space underneath for all those screens and outs that they run.
  14. Patriots are getting insane calls. Boutte was clearly out of bounds, Vrabel challenges and it's reversed. Kraft is paying someone.
  15. I meant Penix. Wouldn't have wanted to be him!
  16. Omg This guy must have had quite a time in junior high.
  17. Kincaid looking great, Hawes looking good too. Knox, with the drops and the fumble and the big salary, is looking less necessary. Now if we had a great downfield receiver we could be unstoppable, like 1991 Bills level or Chiefs with prime Kelce and Tyreek.
  18. The guy outplayed Josh second half. He has the clutch gene. I'd say he played pretty darn well.
  19. We need to let the young guys take over. They will improve and need game action. Tre, Knox, Philips, Daquon, Taron... these guys are not going to cut it anymore. We need Ingram, Hawes, Strong, Sanders, Walker, Hancock, to grow into good players, and we need to let them go through some growing pains. The process is too much about internal discipline and earning favor.
