  1. This exactly. I do say that Cook built a little bit of faith today, and that it's something to build on. Would you disagree?
  2. I mean, situationally, yeah. But otherwise no, so long as JA17 isn't in an iron lung or something.
  3. Okay, good. Nice touch, and I get irony most of the time, like 99%. Well done!
  4. And who does the team bring in, what world-beater, QB2?
  5. Also, also... that failed play with Morris (I think it was?), do you not think that McD and Co were sending a message to KC for next week, as they watch film? Because even with a slow start, after a couple of great opportunities, they weren't losing this game. Hence they got cute? But I think that cutesy play, and the depth of new guys who were involved, most certainly sends a message going into the next game.
  6. True, but even if brought back, he's not going to win a SB with this team.
  7. As the game is over, why is this still open? Just curious. They are usually closed by now.
  8. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that this game allowed the Bills to test some guys out. And they did well. One of the few games in my 45+ years of being a Bills' fan, where I literally say that Pitt wasn't winning this game. My only surprise, short of that what-I-thought-that-Cook-can-be run from Cook, is that they didn't try to figure out the run deficiency a bit more. Again, Pitt wasn't winning this game. Like, at all. It wasn't close. But the Bills have to run a little bit more, and here's to hoping that testing out new guys, with the depth on this team, is a start.
  9. This has Ron Powlus, Flutie, or Dan Manucci written all over it. The Bills got really, really lucky with Reich decades ago, but that's rare. The drop off between JA17 and most other QBs, even for starters, is huge. As JA17 goes, so does the team and this season, and that's the reality.
  10. Hope that Lions Safety is OK. Looks really bad. They called the ambulance quickly, and had a family member join him in it.
  11. If Tua was out, they also would've won. So there is also that.
  12. Not that hard to figure. This is one of the few games this year where I literally saw zero chance of the opposing team having a chance of winning this game. And when did most of those rook QB yards appear?
  13. As noted somewhere else, there is literally one QB2, and that person plays for the 9ers as their first. This teams lives and dies with JA17, and I can't think of another team who has the benefit of would-be-awesome QB2. I can't even include NE, because the Lions are pretty much hapless.
  14. A poor coach, McD is not. But we've seen this script roll many, many times before. The Bills are really, really good. So the question at this point is: next level or not? Nobody can answer that, but this is a very interesting season thus far, most certainly.
  15. Exactly, and it's almost like there's not another Must See game next week!
  16. Yeah, not good. Honestly, who thought that Pitt was winning this game, even if it was close?
  17. The Somali pirates are negotiating, but I bet that the Navy SEALs intervene before next Sunday. Should be all set.
  18. Depth. Depth is all I can say. Neat start, bumpy first half, then boom, depth. Plus no real injuries that I can tell. Nice work by all, and can't wait to see how this season plays out.
  19. This game was unnecessarily long. I'll be submitting my passionate review on Yelp shortly.
  20. Definitely, because to my thinking, I really don't want to vote for a fascist.
  21. Maybe he just shows up. You have a turbulent FedEx flight, and next thing you know you're crafting a knife out of a skate, pooping in the sand, busting your own tooth out, voting for fascists (it's a vote of 1 since it really doesn't count, right?), then crafting a boat, later on, out of the VHS tape of SB XXV. Can happen, ya know?
  22. BTW, CK's 8ish yards have all the artistry of EJM, but without the turnovers (yet).
  23. I have no idea how this season will trend, but they are in the running, probably alongside Detroit, and a small handful of others.
