  1. I know I've commented on this before, but Steve Tasker was a human missile wearing a helmet! I've always felt that he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He was the best at his position for many years, and Hall of Fame coaches have admitted to game planning around him on Special Teams. I wished that he had been utilized more as a wide receiver, because he would have probably already been inducted by now in my opinion.
  2. I'm not going to lie, this loss sucks....but at least it's not the last game of the season for us. We still have plenty of games left, and we have two ways we can go from here....and I truly believe we can get back on track. I've been a Bills fan for close to 40 years, and like many of you have seen seasons end on a bitter note. It's not the end this time thankfully, so let's go get it!
  3. I feel bad for Mack He has a motor like no other. It would be nice to have him in Buffalo where he belongs!
  4. "DA BILLDOZERS" ..... Sorry, I know it's not very original!
  5. I always think back to the "Snow Game" vs. the Colts in that 2017 Season as the turning point. Going into that game, we knew that we had to win that one to have a shot to make the playoffs that season. I figured once we got that playoff drought monkey off our back, it would ultimately pave the way for better things to come.
  6. Happy Birthday Coach Levy! One of my favorite Marv Levy quotes was when he was asked by a reporter if that particular Super Bowl was a must win, and he calmly replied......."This isn't a must win....World War II was a must win" ........... He's always good at putting things in perspective!
  7. I think Tasker utilized his experiences gained over the years to his advantage when he entered the NFL. He was a Swiss Army Knife at Dodge City Community College, where he started out.....then became a record holding Kickoff Returner at Northwestern later on.....and even played Rugby for a while, so you know he was tough as nails as well. I think he always played with a chip on his shoulder, because a lot of people always told him that he was too small to play, but he proved a lot of folks wrong for sure. He had a tremendous work ethic, and also had a motor that never quit.
  8. What a fun running back to watch. Without Shady, we don't end our 17 year playoff drought. My favorite game of his that year was the week 14 snow game vs. the Colts. Without that win in 2017, we don't make the playoffs!
  9. Interesting.....I used to use this to take care of my migraines back in the day....It was about the only thing that would come close to relieving that pain.
  10. Wow! All that I can say is......It's about time they've addressed this situation.
  11. I should've taken that one Packers' fan offer to attend a game at Lambeau Field.....One of my many regrets in life!
  12. It's the final countdown......duh, duh, duh, duh.....du du du du du......my condolences to the music group, Europe. I was never that good of a singer!
  13. Our quarterback room is very impressive, and is improving by the hour. It's nice to have talented young players who want to be there!
  14. It's always great to have Linebackers who can cover, especially going up against the Chiefs and Patriots who utilize their running backs quite a bit in their passing game.
  15. All right....."Groot".....you the man! Let's Go Buffalo!
  16. Brings back memories! It was also really fun to attend the 25th Anniversary of that game at the home opener against the Jets, and to see many of the Bills' players from that game who made it back for the ceremony at halftime. Thanks for sharing!
  17. It will be interesting to see what happens come June 1st. I guess we'll have to wait and see this week about all the speculation up to this point, but it would be nice to upgrade some roster spots, or at the very least....add some more depth. That's the thing about the NFL....It keeps you on your toes, even in the off season!
  18. Hopefully after next year our ranking will jump into the top 3. Usually the running game is our strong point, so once we get that going again, it will be a different story.
  19. Chiefs and Bucs are the match-ups that I'm looking forward to seeing, and It's always fun to see the Bills on Thanksgiving, so how about that Saints game as well!
  20. Thanks for the reminder! Thurman Thomas was so fun to watch on the field. As a Kansas State fan growing up, it was very tough to see Thurman rumble all over the Wildcat defense, but as a Bills fan, I was sure glad when he came to Buffalo to play for the Bills! Happy B-Day Mr. Thomas!
  21. Great post and insight, Gunner. Thanks for the coverage.....very well put!
  22. I'm really looking forward to seeing what we do with our 2 picks in the 5th Round.
  23. To be able to look back and say that we had the best draft of all 32 teams!
  24. How about being from Kansas, and being a Bills fan for close to 40 years, living with Chiefs fans all around. We were able to go to see the Bills play the Chiefs in KC back in the Bledsoe era....wearing our Bills attire proudly with a sea of Red all around and fans screaming all sorts of stuff at us.....and then after being a Bills fan for close to four decades, finally being able to go to a Buffalo game at Orchard Park against the Jets during the 2017 season opener (the year we broke our playoff drought)....a dream come true for sure!
