  1. There are plenty of cities that thrive with downtown stadiums. You’d be hard pressed to find one whose real estate is less “prime” than downtown Buffalo.
  2. Loser decision to punt there.
  3. It’s not about how the offense is called. If Josh understands the defense, he’s awesome. But he can be confused by a good scheme, and he really struggles to figure things out when he’s confused. Daboll wasn’t some brilliant play caller. What he excelled at was helping Josh understand what he was seeing.
  4. What does Burrow do that Purdy doesn’t? They seem like the same guy.
  5. Everyone who is acting like this is somehow a positive know literally nothing about football.
  6. I don't think it is. In fact, I've been pretty vocal that Beane is the biggest issue. He's let this roster get old and expensive. Before this season started, I caught all kinds of heat for saying that everyone should be prepared for major injury issues again this year. There are very few key players on this roster who aren't either old, coming off serious injuries, or both. Now Von looks washed, Tre is done, Jones is done, and we're not even halfway through the season. Poyer and Hyde can still get by on veteran savvy, but they're clearly shells of their former selves, and that's only going to get worse as the season progresses. That's a GM problem rather than a coaching problem. (I do acknowledge that it could be a lot of McDermott getting involved in personnel decisions, but it's still not a function of coaching.)
  7. There's nothing wrong with it. I'm just saying that stats get skewed when scores are run up in games that are already decided. I'm not going to be impressed by an OC who can't win a low scoring game simply because he can put up a ton of fluff points in blowouts.
  8. In their first 3 wins of the season, they had big leads at halftime in each. They proceeded to outscore their opponents by a combined 55-9 in the second half. They absolutely run up the score when they can. They did the same thing early last season winning 31-10 against the Rams, 41-7 against the Titans, and 38-3 against the Steelers. The combined scores in the second halves of those games was 52-0. If that isn't running up the score, I don't know what is.
  9. The stats don't tell the whole story due to the fact that McDermott is more than happy to run up the score and pad stats when he can. Josh has 10 TD passes, 2 INTs, and 0 fumbles in the 4 wins. He's got 5 TD passes, 5 INTs, and 3 fumbles in the 3 losses.
  10. He was clearly washed up last season. He's probably better now that he's about to turn 37, though.
  11. Have you been living under a rock? He’s obviously talking about Jawaan Taylor, the new RT for the Chiefs.
  12. Thanks. How’d you know I went bowling yesterday?
  13. Josh getting roughed is the best offensive play today.
  14. Jones is an absolute doofus.
  15. New England tackles like they’re tanking.
  16. That wasn’t a screen.
  17. Jones isn’t an NFL QB.
  18. First 5 seasons: Cam 18,263 yards passing - Josh 18,397 Cam 117 TDs, 64 INTs - Josh 138 TDs, 60 INTs Cam 18,263 rushing yards - Josh 18,379 rushing yards Cam 43 rushing TDs - Josh 39 rushing TDs Cam 3-3 postseason record - Josh 4-4 postseason record They have been incredibly similar in their first 5 seasons. The difference is that Cam collapsed after his 5th season. He was on a HOF trajectory until injuries caught up with him. Comparing Josh’s first 5 seasons to Cam’s first 5 seasons isn’t an insult to Josh. Cam was elite, and he’s got the hardware to prove it.
  19. https://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay/_/gameId/401326633 He threw the following incompletions: 12:49 12:44 5:01 3:32 2:39 1:02 0:22
  20. I’m not disappointed in anything. I’ve said in this thread that he may well win an MVP and a Super Bowl and will likely be in the HOF. You’re the one trying to say that Allen is the best while hand waiving away MVPs, Super Bowls, postseason records, regular season records, and stats that all say otherwise. The thread title isn’t “Who is your favorite player?” It’s “How good is Josh Allen?” The answer to that is he’s an excellent QB. He’s undeniably in the top 5. He’s arguably the second best. He’s not the best, though.
  21. I recall. He didn’t because Mahomes went 2/2 for 44 yards in 10 seconds to put his team in range to tie the game with a FG and then went 6/6 for 61 yards and a TD in overtime. I realize that doesn’t fall into your definition of “when it counts” because, in a thread about how good Josh is, the only answer you’ll accept is “OMG he’s the best of all time”. It doesn’t matter that other QBs have won MVPs, Super Bowls, have better records, better stats, etc. None of that matters to you. Josh is 4-4 in the postseason including a 27-10 loss last year, but postseason records don’t matter. Josh has never won a Super Bowl, but championships don’t matter. Josh has never taken the Bills to the #1 seed in the conference, but regular season wins don’t matter. Josh has never won an MVP, but MVPs don’t matter. The only thing that matters is the logo on the helmet and as long as there’s a buffalo on his helmet, then by God Josh is the GOAT. You’re right. He was 9/16 for 107 yards. I said 8/15 for 107 originally.
  22. Allen in the 4th quarter: 8/15 107 yards Mahomes in 4th and overtime: 11/15 186 yards
  23. WTF are you talking about? Mahomes had better stats across the board AND won the game. What other metric do you want to use?
  24. Mahomes had more passing yards, more rushing yards, completed a higher percentage of his passes, had the same number of total TDs, and didn’t fumble.
