I'll play Ogunjobi is a JAG. Won't make a difference. Sanders wasn't anything special from what we saw in live action either. Palmer and Samuel are again not difference makers. One is often injured, and the other couldn't Crack the Chargers starting lineup last season and they let him walk. I'll concede the corners because they probably are better and help to a degree...especially with the speed of Hairston Milano can't be counted on to stay on the field at this point, and Bernard hasn't been a world beater. Kincaid is a big loss Reality is that they might add 2 or 3 key guys over the next few weeks which doesn't exactly get me pumped for a magical transformation with this roster They are lost on both sides of the ball and Josh is showing signs of defeat along with frustration/disappointment There's no magic elixir here.

A Few Thoughts about the Falcons Game - Community Edition
BeastMaster replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Team is lost They are searching for answers on both sides of the ball, and Josh doesn't seem to be playing with the type of energy and leadership we are accustomed to Might be time to pull the plug -
Yet he hasn't adapted his defense to not be a weak link on the team which has resulted in why they get bounced in the playoffs McDermott will not ascend to being anything more than a culture builder that has benefitted from having an all time QB that has masked his inability to field a defense that holds up it's end of the bargain come playoff time and will continue to fail until he admits his defensive scheme isn't good enough and hands the keys over to a legit DC that will run his own scheme without McDermotts influence

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
BeastMaster replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Worthy is not good as a receiver, but he fits exactly what KC wanted to do, which was to have a burner that can stretch the field and must be accounted for, and to use him for gadget plays. Buffalo could use the exact same thing, and it's frustrating watching them not do it when it would make them so much more dangerous and probably impossible to stop -
SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)
BeastMaster replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can't take anyone seriously that actually doesn't see that KC gets treated differently than any other team in the league. It's obvious, and it's been so for years now. That being said...Detroit was pathetic yesterday on defense, and they weren't good enough on offense either. My issue will be when and if the Bills play the Chiefs in the playoffs, will we get screwed again? I would assume so, but this team has to take care of business and secure the top seed to make KC have the toughest path with no rest. I also think Denver will be a problem for KC and the Chargers have already shown themselves to be a problem as well. Buffalo can definitely put themselves in a much better position to face them if they get their ***** together on defense -
Game week thread - Bills at Falcons MNF
BeastMaster replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are 1000% right One of the weakest takes from the TBD community is that we should be happy cause we are a contender and have a chance -
That's all well and good, but the same issues that have plagued this team in crucial spots once again reared it's ugly head I think that is more of the complaint here...that we aren't seeing the coaching staff adjust and adapt to what many of us fans see as a problem that has to be addressed

Why keep bringing certain guys back?
BeastMaster replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the front office and coaching staff is so timid and deathly afraid of players that might not fit or rock the boat that they play it safe with lesser talent rather than to take a chance with someone with more potential That, to me is a huge mistake if that's the case. -
Completely agree Give the saints whatever they want for either Olave or Shaheed Problem solved

The Upcoming Trade Deadline: 2025 Edition
BeastMaster replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. Do we forget all the games where our DB's play so far off the line of scrimmage that guys like Burrow and Mahomes just abuse us over and over? It's the system more than it's a Tre White problem...although I agree that the guy is on his last legs -
My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!
BeastMaster replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
The advanced metrics were junk His production on the field is what any good evaluator should go by, and it wasn't even good enough to be a starting wideout...yet we paid him a fairly large contract. I think we spent very poorly in free agency -
The Upcoming Trade Deadline: 2025 Edition

Should've spent all our FA money on Dk -
My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!
BeastMaster replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
But I was told that Josh Palmer was a stud that could get seperation... -
I'll also say that Hochuli seemed even more arrogant and smug than usual when making the calls...almost as if he wanted you to know what him and his crew were doing They most certainly set the tone early and made it so that it was going to be a competitive fight

Saints WR Rashid Shaheed......possible trade deadline move??
BeastMaster replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I strongly disagree We need someone that teams must account for with a safety to prevent being torched for a long pass It's an element that this team is missing and would make us that much more lethal -

BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Palmer does not have speed. Dude was a scrub with 1TD last season and wasn't even a starting WR Palmer will continue to be another poor use of money when we could've taken him and the two PED guys money and basically gotten DK...a real speed guy -

BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem is he knows his philosophy results in his defense getting shredded by good teams in the playoffs...yet he still sticks with this failed philosophy McDermott, like some posters here are fine with being a contender that has a punchers chance if they get some luck against a team like KC or Philly -
A Few Thoughts about the Pats Game - Post yours as well
BeastMaster replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that Diggs has a negative affect on Josh. His two worst games the past two seasons have been this one and the Texans game I think Josh feels some sort of pressure when he sees him on the opposing team and it brings out the worst version of Josh -

And it's why ownership will keep McDermott which is why Josh will never win a SB Imagine accepting having the best QB possibly ever and seeing a SB win as a bonus Anyone that thinks the way you described has no spine Full Stop -

Analytics doesn't take into account what we all knew, which was that the defense wouldn't be able to stop the other team from scoring...which they obviously did -

BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Patriots didn't impress me at all They proved they can steal an ugly game where they had massive help from the zebras...that's it Our defense did it's normal collapse when we needed a stop. That happens against any opponent -

BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Truest statement made on this board, and most will refuse to acknowledge it This Bills team is vastly superior to this Pats team, but Vrabel with a little help in the first half mucked it up enough to allow them to have a chance which we all know how that goes -

He's doing what the coaches want him to do They play a soft defense that teams carve up routinely when it counts -

Should've canned McDermott when Vrabel was available Now Sean is getting his ass handed to him by a lesser team
