AFC Wildcard Rooting Interests Week 15
Greg S replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well they did beat KC at Arrowhead. They did beat the Bucs in Tampa but lost to the refs in Tampa which ultimately cost them the game. The Titans game was a great game that went back and forth. The Bills fell just short in that one. The only really bad game against a good team was the Colts. They are capable of beating any team but also losing to them as well. Get in the playoffs and see what happens. -
AFC Wildcard Rooting Interests Week 15

I don't know if it hurts our chances as that means the Colts lose. They do have the tiebreaker over the Bills. But I am rooting for the Colts. I want the Bills to have a shot at the division if they can get it. -

They have been pretty good at beating bad teams except for the Jags game. The Panthers, Falcons, and Jets all fit that description. If the Colts win tomorrow night then I really believe the division will be decided next Sunday in NE. I think the Bills will take care of business in their remaining home games. -
AFC Wildcard Rooting Interests Week 15

With the way things are going for the Browns I would expect the Raiders to win tomorrow. The Packers should beat the Ravens especially with Jackson hurting. -
I really hope the Colts win tomorrow night Then if the Bills win out its back to back AFC East champs with a playoff game at home.

I disagree on the Pats-Colts. Go Colts. I want a shot at the division. -

Just hope he is OK and can get his health back 100%. You hate to see anyone get hurt. -
Unscrambled Omicron = Moronic virus. The next deadly variant will be called the PIDSTU HEEPS VIRUS.

Starting the week off in my office pool 0-1. Stupid Chargers coach. Going for it on 4th down every time. They had 3 chances to kick a FG and passed on all of them. They should have kicked the FG right before half. The other times I could understand going for it. They would have had momentum and a 7 point lead instead of 4 going to halftime.

I wonder if the league won't allow them to wear it. Red over white would look good (IMHO) and I am sure the Bills know it to. I wonder if the league said no to them on wearing it. The all red pajamas suck. If I am the Pegula's I would ask the league in the offseason about wearing red over white or white over red in 2022. I would prefer that over all reds and all blues.

No argument from me on that.

Agreed. After "reading" that post I forgot what the hell we are talking about in here.

The only thing that could make the Jacksonville situation funnier is if they hire Adam Gase to be the next HC.

KC looks tough right now. NE playing well. After that every other team has issues.

NE had a lot of players return this year who opted out last year. I don't think Jones is anything special but they have won 7 in a row. I do think the Bills are the more talented team but that means nothing if they can't prove it on the field. I think the game at NE will be a tough game. If the Bills play to their ability they will win. If they play sloppy they will lose. Belichick's teams rarely beat themselves so the Bills can't afford to make to many mistakes. The home games the Bills should win period. Lose anyone of those games and that most likely means no playoffs.

Is now the time to remove OJ Simpson from the wall of fame and HOF?
Greg S replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. I could understand if he was banned from managing again but as a player he definitely belongs. -
The 3rd down call was a joke. I would have had Allen roll out with the option to run/pass. I just didn't want the game to go to OT. It felt like the Bills had to win in regulation. Yes the defense played well in the 2nd half but I still didn't want to give Brady the ball in OT. Unfortunately the Bills couldn't take advantage in OT when they got the ball first. Of course it would not have come down to this if the PI was called which was so obvious.

Just goes to show the "any given Sunday" thing is real. One of the worst losses I remember was the 1984 Cowboys losing to the 0-11 Bills. It was great from the Bills side of things but the Cowboys must have been like WTF just happened. Those Bills teams in 84 and 85 were just as bad if not worse than the Jags.

A Little Perspective: Why we shouldn't be down on the McBeane Regime
Greg S replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall
In Buffalo. The Bills have 3 home games left Panthers, Falcons, Jets. I know anything can happen (see Jags game) but if the Bills beat the Pats at NE then they have a great shot at running the table. They should handle business for all remaining home games. -
Would you have gone for it on 4th down when it was 27-24? It would have been a gutsy call but looking back on it I might have done it just to avoid any chance Brady gets the ball in OT. The Bills got the ball first so they had their chance to win but once they went 3 and out I knew it wasn't going to end well. As for the 4th down I would have had Allen roll out with the option to run or pass. It would have taken a lot of guts to go for it on 4th down in that spot.

Forgot about Jimmy. It's been a while since he has been a HC. Good point.

Greg S replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
This reminds me of Pete Rose the all time hits leader and yet baseball has denied him his place in the HOF. What he did was a lot less serious than OJ. Gambling on baseball especially when you are the manager is wrong but its not murder. For me personally it won't affect me one way or the other. Its the Pegula's decision to put him on the Wall of Fame or Bills HOF at the new stadium. I believe the NFL hasn't taken OJ out of the HOF. This could go either way. -
Only coaches that I can think of who did well in the pros and college are Carroll and Harbaugh.
