Singletary. Bill is known for taking away the other team's strength. For the Bills that's passing the ball. Need Singletary to be able to run the ball which will go a long way in getting the Bills a win. On defense its the entire front 7 in stopping the run and putting pressure on noodle arm to beat them.

AP exclusive: Bills propose new 60k seat stadium by (update - 2025)
Greg S replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was a kid but I remember those days. The 70's were brutal at least until Knox got there. Then it started to turn around. I still say if the Bills had beaten the Chargers in the 1980 divisional round they were Super Bowl bound. I think they would have crushed Oakland at home in the AFCCG. That loss to SD was probably my first heartbreaking Bills loss. -
That's what the offseason is for.

Check out this classic clip from a Bills game in Dec of 1977. Talk about empty seats. Granted that team sucked but the place looked like a ghost town. -
They have to play at KC this week. That will be a tough game to win even with covid hitting the Chiefs. I think the Browns lose at GB which would make them 7-8. Baltimore has a big one at Cincinnati. If the Bengals win ( I think they will especially if the Ravens are without LJ) then the Ravens are in trouble. I think only one team makes it from the North and that's the Bengals.

When its all said and done the 7 AFC playoffs teams will be IMHO.....Bills, Pats, Bengals, Titans, Colts, Chiefs, Chargers. Don't know what the seeds will be and who wins the division or goes in as a WC. I feel pretty confident these will be the 7 teams. Ravens, Broncos OUT. Browns, Steelers would need to run the table and get help. I don't see that happening either.

Thanks for the info. I really hope Beane can improve the lines on both sides of the ball. On the DL its more the interior. On the OL I would look at everything. Give Allen better pass protection and run game and the Bills will eventually be Super Bowl champions. I hope it happens this year but I am not to confident it will. TBH.

If the NFL were run like the WWE then why wouldn't the refs help the Giants? They are one of the NFL's darling franchises with long history in the NFL. They have one of the biggest fanbases and represent the NYC market. The Giants would certainly be a bigger cash cow for the NFL then the Pats.

If he doesn't then I will really begin to question what he is doing here. This is question for a different thread and probably for the offseason but who are the top OL prospects who will be available when the Bills pick in Rd 1.

The key to this game IMHO is Singletary. Belichick is famous for taking away what the other team does best. He is going to have a plan in place to limit Allen's ability to throw. He will try to limit Diggs, Knox, and Davis as well as Allen's ability to run. This is where the Bills OL and Singletary need to step up. If they can be successful running the ball then that will open everything else up. If Singletary has a good game the Bills win. If he doesn't the Bills will lose. I think he does and the Bills win 27-24 in a very hard fought game.

I live in NJ and I hate the Jets more than I do the Pats/Fins combined.

Dion Dawkins, Stefon Diggs named to Pro Bowl

I'm shocked Zach Wilson didn't make it. -
The Jets game scares me a little. Yes I know they suck and the Bills are much better but they will want payback ( at least their fans will) for what the Bills did to them a few years back. The Bills prevented them from clinching a playoff spot by beating them on the final game of the year. I believe it was 2016. The NY media will definitely bring it up if the Bills need a win over the Jets so it will be in the players minds. Its their Super Bowl getting a chance to ruin a rival's season. They will play hard in that situation.

You could probably make a good case that during their 20 year run that the Bills, Jets, Dolphins wouldn't make the top 5 on the Pats rivalry list. Early on it was the Colts and Ravens with the Brady vs Manning and Brady vs the Lewis led Ravens playing in big regular season/playoff games. Then it was the Broncos with Manning and Steelers with Ben who would face them in big games. Then the Giants (the NFC we only play once every four years Giants) beat them on the biggest stage twice including ruining their hopes of an 18-0 season. The Colts, Ravens, Steelers, Broncos, Giants were bigger rivals to the Pats then their current divisional rivals.

He can throw a mean 3 yard pass though.

The Bills have been multiple teams' "Superbowl"
Greg S replied to Hermes's topic in The Stadium Wall
According to Pats fans that's not true. The Bills win against KC doesn't count as a real win because the Bills beat them when they were struggling. So we are 7-1-6. Seven real wins, one gifted win, and six losses -
Bills at Patriots: Predict the Score
Greg S replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Assuming Covid doesn't do any more damage to the roster minus Beasley. I think the Bills win a close one 27-24. -
I just hope the Bills can step up here and win a huge game. The Colts did it last Saturday. NO did it at TB on SNF. It's the Bills turn. This really is the biggest regular season game they have played in a long time. It was a letdown to lose the first game against them but this one really is for the division.
