  1. He has a worse TD/TO ratio despite creating lots of touchdowns. Which means he has lots of TO’s. Do you agree with that?
  2. I just want to win a Super Bowl lol.
  3. I don’t think so. Allen is pretty much has the worst TD/TO ratio of the really good QB’s from that list. Worse than guys we are pretty confident he is better then. And the only way to have a turn over ratio lower than a guy like Dak, when you score a lot more touchdowns is to also have a lot more TO’s. Hence, the conclusion. That’s kinda the problem. Halfway through his career and we haven’t sniffed an SB. It felt like an inevitability 2 years ago. It no longer does.
  4. The other QB has a better team.
  5. The conclusion was based on the data in the OP relative to his peers.
  6. Von Miller can be cut next year with a post 6/1 designation and save some money, no?
  7. Will the Bills offense play as good as Geno Smith and the Seahawks?
  8. Pithy metaphors don't put those Superbowl banners up.
  9. That's why I didn't say "the highest," I said "one of the highest." Did you read my post?
  10. This post did that. Josh has one of the highest TO/touch ratio of these players.
  11. Ball security with Goff is a huge sticking point. That man has tiny hands. He had multiple fumbles on TG and lost them the game. Prescott was an INT machine last season and it was a huge narrative. Stafford is also a TO machine, it was also a narrative about if he could win a Super Bowl leading the league in INT’s after the trade. Lamar has a lower overall TO number but his TD number isn’t that good, since 2020. I don’t have the standard deviation ready to argue if the differences in these numbers are “negligible” or “about the same.”
  12. Josh doesn’t lead in ANY/A. Not even close. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/best-average-net-yard-per-attempt-since-2020
  13. He’s near the top. I want him to be the best. TD/touch is probably the best efficiency metric you can have for a QB. Not sure TD/game would be more relevant.
  14. I just want Josh to either be better than Mahomes at TD/touch or TO/touch. can’t be the best in the league and worse in most of the big categories.
  15. only problem is he wants a contender. Get ‘er done Beane!
  16. Bills defense has been pretty good except the one year where the entire defense is injured or old is pretty consistent with the eye test, personally.
  17. He threw an INT, man. He wasn't perfect.
  18. Yep, last week, we needed Allen to be perfect to beat the one loss reigning NFC champions. A real shame because he came very close. I don't think we get blown out with Mahomes as our starter tbh.
  19. Let's see: Bungles (w/ Burrow) 2023 1-5 2022 4-3 2021 4-6
  20. This season Josh has: 2 INT's in 1st Q 6 INT's in 2nd Q 2 INT's in 3rd Q 3 INT's in 4th Q.
  21. It wasn't just not perfect, imo. Our only chance in that game was to keep scoring. If Josh missed a throw, sure, yeah it happens. A pick there basically cut our win probability in half. If you want to compare Josh/Mahomes, here's one. The Bills are 1-6 in 2023 when our defense allows 20 or more. The Chiefs are 2-3 in 2023 when their defense allows 20 or more. 2022 Bills 6-3 Chiefs 9-3 2021 Bills 3-4 Chiefs 4-5 2020 Bills 6-3 Chiefs 8-2 The standard should be like playoff rivals no? Better than league average sounds like a "happy with McD making the playoffs" type stat.
  22. He was probably the best player on the field. He could've been better, and I believe if he was, we would've won. Especially against arguably the worst passing defense in the NFL. If that's too high of expectations to you, that's fair.
  23. Hurts won the game, If Hurts didn't, his TO's would've been a big reason why.
  24. It means that my expectations are higher for him to not throw a back-breaking pick than for Tyler Bass not getting a kick blocked.
