  1. I went with Coleman, and I went with him solely because I think Kincaid and Knox are going to split way more time then anyone on this board is thinking.
  2. I was told in the Keon Coleman thread that Beane should be fired for listening to Allen because he wasn't a scout though...
  3. I think you can get similar production to what you'd expect from Jones with cheaper players that are already on the roster. If we need someone to jump out of a window naked though then he's our guy.
  4. I seriously doubt anyone would be worried about this if we had drafted BTJ instead of Coleman. If there were "tell all" analytics that could be used to accurately predict NFL success then we wouldn't have debates about who is the better prospect.
  5. You don’t want your all star QB to give feedback on what receivers he thinks would make him the most successful? You think it’s so bad, in fact, that the GM should be fired for listening to his most valuable asset? Sorry, I just don’t see the logic.
  6. This is where I'm at with the pick. It seems like Allen had a lot of influence on who he thought would fit best into this new Brady offense, so I'm going to defer to him and trust that they've made a good decision. Time will tell but I can't pretend to know better than Josh freakin' Allen about WRs.
  7. I thought 3.49 was the over/under on how many plates he got at the Golden Corral.
  8. I think we'd all be sleeping a little easier if we got Josh another weapon, which I have to imagine they'll be evaluating post June 1 when they have some more cap available. It's not as dire as the OP is making it out to be. Coleman is a big unknown, but it's the guy Allen thought could best help him, so you've got to trust him on that.
  9. You aren’t wrong about Diggs, but he’s still a known quantity over a rookie who has never played an NFL snap. Post June 1 makes sense. If we pull off a blockbuster trade for an Aiyuk or similar, we instantly have one of the best WR cores in the NFL. If we sign a Michael Thomas or similar, we’re definitely “good enough” in my eyes, but still behind where we should be.
  10. Anyone who believes the WR is in better shape now than it was last season is lying to themselves. That being said, a veteran Z WR add either by trade or signing feels needed. Even then it’s still sketchy unless it’s a big name.
  11. Damn Carson off the board. I thought he'd be a good late fit for the Bills.
  12. We will be lucky if 1-4 of these guys will be left by 204. Keeping my fingers crossed for Washington, Rice, Brade, or Carson.
  13. Solomon probably makes sense, but so did like 3 of the WRs on the board that probably won't last until the Bills next pick.
  14. Why? He's got all the traits and seems like a plug and play lock for McD's system.
  15. I think that's all accurate but not as much of a sure thing as Bishop.
  16. When everyone is a team captain, no one is a captain Beane. lol. It's crazy how important that is to them.
  17. 100% either you make a big swing post June 1 with a trade or you bring in someone low risk high reward like Michael Thomas.
  18. The Eagles are crushing this draft.
  19. This is a pick I really like. Excellent center depth and considering the Morse departure I think that’s sorely needed.
  20. What a useless comment that adds nothing other than you being mad about an opinion.
  21. He’s a good pick, but I’m not sure I love Beane’s draft strategy thus far. I would feel a lot more confident if we had doubled up on WR. Maybe they have a veteran trade or Michael Thomas in mind. This actual pick though is fine, he’ll be a good addition to the room.
  22. Totally, and I didn't mean to make it sound defeatist. Earlier in this thread I said that there are still good WR candidates on the board right now and we have a lot of capital to move around day 3 if we want to. I'm fine with the pick. I wanted a WR, but I get why they did what they did. Now if they don't get a WR in the 4th I might start to get very frustrated...
