Rasul Douglas' repeated problems in coverage last year had absolutely zero to do with anybody else on the field.

Kevin Bacon has to be Ken O'Brien though...

Gauging interest in a 12 person TBD Dynasty League

I live in a rural area with limited supplies and I remember it eventually getting to the point that I would have to get up really early and buzz down to the gas station to grab a USA Today before they all sold out. Presumably to guys who were running other leagues and doing the exact same thing as us. -
What would make you think he's likely not to perform all that well? A guy in his contract year that is all about the money is going to be in great shape and playing his ass off to get paid. A 3rd rounder now vs a 3rd rounder down the road is nowhere near enough of a difference to just throw away a key piece to a championship run. The idea that it is even close is nothing more than pointless posturing.

They look like they're not comfortable being pressed by Houston's extended D and aggressive man.

What do you think the Bills could get right now for a 2 down RB who wants an exorbitant salary and is seemingly willing to sit out if he doesn't get it? Maybe a 2nd rnd pick? Compared to possibly getting a 3rd round comp pick if you don't deal him and he walks via FA? You're talking about losing arguably your most dangerous offensive weapon while trying to make a SB run; is that worth moving up just one round on Day 2 of a draft that's over a year away? Having as many hands as possible on deck for a SB run right now is faaaaaar more important for moving up a single round in the draft 13 months from now.

This comically bad review process is just sucking the air out of every game in this tournament. It's far worse than any of the idiocy the NFL was guilty of over the last several years. How do you expect to maintain any tension or drama when you repeatedly bring the galdanged game to a screeching halt for no reason 5 times in the last two minutes to double check that the tenths/second on the clock are perfect? Between this and the transfer nonsense, the boneheads in the boardroom are making the greatest tournament in the world unwatchable. Eat your heart out Wilt Chamberlain!

I would not be opposed to you adding the word "wildly" to this sentence

And just last week I was extolling the wisdom of Kelvin Sampson. He's so smart he can even make me look smart!

JJ Watt to call games with Ian Eagle next season as CBS #2 broadcast team

I really loved him when he worked as a draft analysis with Mike Mayock back in the day. Very smart and definitely knew his business. I don't hear him enough as a color guy to have a legit opinion though. And here's a shirt you may need: -
Have you ever quit following a sports team?
Simon replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
I used to follow the Swedish Bikini Team around, but had to quit after the injunction. -
I don't disagree with you. Folks are welcome to start threads on more specific subjects they want to talk about. I'm not trying to limit every draft discussion to this thread. I'm angling more to just curate at least one specifically dedicated just to this draft, so that anybody can pop in whenever they want and know there is guaranteed to be at least one place they can click on and read what's being discussed on the most current relative topic to the Bills. I have no intention of merging all the draft talk into one thread, but instead having at least one thread that is only draft talk.

You ever try to handle a 750lb Vincent Black Shadow on wet gravel, you gym-manufactured swine?
-
And this is why I put that request up. We have ONE thread pinned dedicated to talking about this draft, yet here you guys go dragging it into the weeds with the other 100 threads about past drafts, Bills coaches, the KC game, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. Folks deserve to have one thread where they can go read about and discuss the draft without having to wade through dozens of repeated posts that can be found anywhere else in the forum. PLEASE leave this ONE thread alone with all those rehashes and allow folks to have a place to conveniently read and discuss that subject.

I think most people that do it, like it. But it's definitely not for everybody. I like contact sports and trading blows but for a variety of reasons I didn't like wrestling at all.

Please remember this is a pinned thread for discussion of the 2025 draft. Not the 2009 draft, the 2019 draft or the 1998 draft. Thanks
