  1. Fwiw, I spent a lot of years playing straight man corner with no help over the top and I would much rather play against a guy like Worthy than a guy like Coleman. With a "Worthy" you start a bar brawl at the beginning of every play and try to end every play on the ground with a knee or elbow driving into ribs or hammies or whatever and the "Worthy" spends most of his day concentrating on you instead of the offense. With a "Coleman" you start that bar brawl for about a quarter and then realize "OK, that's enough of that" and then spend the rest of the day just trying to play him straight up because you can't beat him up or intimidate him. Advantage: Coleman
  2. Not to mention losing your world class nickel a couple minutes in. People don't respect enough what he brings to this defense both physically and mentally, imo.
  3. Absolutely. They are going ot have some options to torture corners going forward
  4. That is a legitimate question. I'm guessing they have both routes on the books and you'll see both at some point
  5. The route is decided before the snap. Allen isn't going to throw a different kind of ball mid play. They were running that same route at camp with the ball coming in hot and Coleman making the aggressive play on it overpowering the corner. The corner just played it strong at the LOS of scrimmage that time.
  6. That was one of the first points I made after seeing Coleman's game for the first time. He gives Allen options to do things that he's never had in this league before. He could effectively make Josh a better player in the same way that Josh could make Coleman better.
  7. The throw was OK; it was just outstanding corner play and nothing more.
  8. It was a skilled and intelligent pushoff though. He understands to make the motion quick and violent, before the top of the route while the ref is shielded and doing it without extending his arm. Very effective and will typically go uncalled.
  9. He's a physically aggressive WR all over the field who plays with zero fear. He is going to be an asset for this team on multiple levels.
  10. I think they probably don't trust him as much on clear passing downs. He seems to play better in teh box, imo
  11. Did you see him repeatedly attacking Murray with big blitzes on the final drive? Didn't think so.......
  12. An admirable effort, but he could probably still hear him anyways
  13. If you're going to start the thread, you should be the one who posts updates in the first post of the thread and then changes the titles accordingly
  14. Because there is a post game thread you can use instead of starting a new thread that has no interesting or original content.
  15. Thanks man, I was on the road most of the day. 👍
  16. Are they using Ingram as a dime back?
  17. Probably a really deep bruise that will hurt like hell for a while
  18. Dorian Williams is a problem
  19. If they weren't, right now we'd have three different threads on the front page (2 from the same poster) about guys contracts who aren't even Bills. Do we really need a whole new thread just because some random player from another team signed an extension? I don't think that's the kind of thing that posters come here to see on the front page.
  20. Failing to maximize the talent on your own team just to tweak somebody else's nose would be embarrassingly pathetic and a fireable offense.
  21. I think he bailed out of the pocket multiple times in the last minute because for some reason the Ravens were repeatedly asking a RB to pick up Chris Jones. It was bizarre.
  22. And of course he ends up burning up so much time on the play that they never had a shot at getting 4 downs anyways.
  23. It wasn't a good throw, but Flowers poor read made it look a lot worse than it was, imo.
