  1. NOOOOOPE. seems sorta like you are the one stressing. Posting this desperate attempt at rationalizing after week SIX. Take some of your own medicine
  2. Gurley has two arthritic knees, that’s maybe one (or two?) reasons the Bills (or any other team) isn’t bringing him in. yeah, a running game. Like that stellar running game they had last year when they were one game from the super bowl. 🤔
  3. That I’m not sure, definitely gotta watch the replays a bunch more. It was close.
  4. Posted it above. Since it was not recovered by Allen (it went out of bounds) it is not advanced.
  5. So yeah the immaculate deception rule: Chargers fans have referred to the play as the Immaculate Deception ever since, and after the 1978 season, the NFL instituted the current rule that a forward fumble in the last two minutes of play (or on fourth down) can only be advanced, if recovered by the fumbling team, by the player who originally fumbled.
  6. Honestly, there looked to be open receivers all over the field that josh missed tonight. Granted, not solely his fault, he had some pressure consistently. But yeah, he missed a bunch.
  7. I think the rules are different in the last two minutes of the game on balls fumbled forward and out of bounds. Not sure gonna have to look it up…I think that’s the case though.
  8. Honestly, and this is mean to say, but I think many of the these color commentators especially are kinda dumb. They’re given talking points before the game by producers or behind the camera analysis (“Derrick Henry=good”) and just sort of hammer those. ESPN is especially bad.
  9. That’s asking a whole lot from the ESPN crew…not like that’s their job or anything Think I said it last year…never trust a man named Clete.
  10. Think the long term plan at OL is already in motion drafting guys like Spencer Brown. Dawkins is here, despite tonight, he’s pretty good. Seems like they’re going to have to build around those two
  11. MAJOR issue? Snap judgments by paper thin fans like you. You could go away…one less issue.
  12. Just going by your thread title bud. I mean, you’re wrong. You’re right a lot. An awful lot. Wrong on this one. Sorry
  13. allen is still playing elite but there is no way, no how he is an MVP favorite. He’s still in the convo for sure. Murray’s better. Lamar is hotter over the past two weeks. Brady is still being Brady, unfortunately. Allen’s somewhere around 4th or 5th (forgot about Rodgers.)
  14. No. Would not have made a difference. This isn’t the right hill to die on. He was short. honestly, delete the thread.
  15. Definitely a tough loss because it would’ve been a relative glide to the one seed (depending on what baltimore does.) but yeah there’s a lot more to it now
  16. I don’t see the need for all these joke threads right after a loss but this one was pretty funny so 👍
  17. The bye is immensely important. Look up the stats
  18. The guys they deactivated tonight preclude them from doing that a bit.
  19. We’re talking about two different things. If Watt has been pushing that line, as @Hapless Bills Fan and others have claimed, then he should be flagged/fined, even suspended if he does it enough. I was more just speaking about the technique (punching the ball out) more generally. It’s taught and used by many, if not all teams. Sorry if that wasn’t clear. I don’t think anyone that does it is “classless” or a “scumbag” as others have said. TJ Watt may be though. He’s aware he’s going to get more leeway from the refs given his rep and accomplishments.
  20. Agreed I had to clarify that - I was more thinking of a slight miss, where a guy goes for the ball and gets the ballcarrier’s elbow for example.
  21. by that standard, quite a few Bills defenders are also lacking “class” as you put it. Punching the ball out is taught by coaches all over the league. If you screw up and hit the guy in the head or something and get flagged that’s on you, but hard for me to accuse the defender of being classless. They’re trying to make a play.
  22. Good point - if you miss so badly you blast the guy in the head (for example), the flag is coming no matter what, as it should.
  23. TJ not JJ. And if the intent is clear enough that he was going for the ball I don’t see why they would ever flag that.
  24. WFT is definitely complicit in this - to paraphrase the saying, Snyder could *mess up a cup of coffee. Again, though, there’s no legitimate reason for these people to be down there on the sidelines, before, during or after the game. They have free tickets. They probably have their pick of luxury boxes. What they don’t have is any job that requires them on the field. They get this access and use it for one reason: to flaunt their clout and (as you said) attempt to monetize it. Which is fine, I’ve no problem with people using social media to make money. But they can easily dance in the stands, in their box, in the concourse, etc…
