Wow, he's been here forever. Sad to hear.

I mean you guys had 20+ years of elite coaching/recruiting stability. Even Lincoln Riley who has some mixed reviews is a hell of a recruiter and has solid programs year in and year out. Now you hired a turd. On top of that needing to rebuild vs the SEC. Plenty of storied programs in coaching hell for a very long time. I hope that isn't your fate.

The next 6 games will be interesting.

That Detroit game is going to be very difficult for us. They have the DNA to play very similar as Baltimore and just push us around. I can also assure you they did not forget about the Win we had there a few years ago. It's a proud team and many of those players are the same. Look what they did to make up for the Dallas game this year. They want to put everybody on notice but most of all the good teams. A win in that spot would be equal to a win vs KC perhaps even greater as it relates to regular season accomplishments for this year. -
I have no idea why a guy who couldn't play QB in college could also not play QB in the Pro's.

Buckets is one cold blooded SOB

What if said you could have a WR who is elite in all of the below? Would you think twice about adding such a player? Size Athletic ability Vertical Foot Speed Hands Physicality Work Ethic I wanted Coleman since January. It's exciting to see him grow.

We are 13-17 in games decided by 7 points or less since 2021, including the playoffs. We are 0-3 after the wild card round since that time and the guy you point out at 2-4 has made it further than we have to the AFC championship game. I experienced the early 90's. I won't hang my hat on the Bills leading the NFL in win% for the decade. Nobody cares or remembers.

Fair enough, it just seemed like that was sort of an independent thought vs a response to what I said. Somebody else said the NFL can't have immobile QB's anymore to which I responded that it still could. What is causing Rogers issue is much likely bigger than just bad offensive line play. I'm sure the physical decline is playing a fairly large role.
-
what's your point?
-
Cousins, Stafford, Goff are all Rogers like with scramble ability. Now what you really cant do is focus all your efforts on WR's and neglect OL. Which is what they did. Mind you Zack Wilson was mobile. So I'm not sure they got a taste of how bad that offensive line really was.

You don't see a gap between winning a playoff game after the wild card round and going for 3 consecutive Super Bowls? If anybody is questioning our ability to mop the floor with wild card or lower teams they really should get checked out by a medical professional. Further, if anybody thinks beating these teams means anything toward our ability to getting it done in the playoffs you should go see the same doctor.

And like he said, we are below .500 in close games. The one that does it in the playoffs

I take a lot of crap here when I defend Mahomes in this debate but I just think it's the honest conclusion. Mahomes has played 14 playoff game that didn't involve a Super Bowl and he has only played 2 wild card games. Josh has had 5 of his 10 games in the wild card. The competition gets much more difficult in each round. What Mahomes has done in the Divisional and Championship round has never been done before. 28 TD and 2 INT, nearly 70%, and almost 300 yards per game. Stats from Divisional and Championship round Josh has been excellent as well, but Mahomes is all time good in this spot. Then the comebacks and the record. He has 3 comebacks in the Super Bowl after being down 10 points or more. He is 5-2 in the playoffs when down by 10 points or more. Josh doesn't have a come from behind win in the postseason. He should of had one with 13 seconds but Mahomes should of had one in his first AFC championship game when Brady beat him in nearly identical circumstances as Mahomes beat Allen. Josh is playing better right now but we have to win in the postseason. When that happens it will change everything.

Without Mahomes 11-13 in the playoffs, one conference championship With Mahomes 15-3 in the playoffs, 4 conference championships, 3 Super Bowls He's a very good coach, but it's a mistake to think this isn't another Brady/Belichick situation.

Ya, he was a filler for me. But with Metcalf hobbled, one I needed. -

If an INT is thrown and nobody speaks of it did it even happen?
